Parking was easy since the salon is located in Lakewood Towne Center, which offers plenty of parking and is also easily accessible by public transportation. I called earlier in the week to schedule an appointment for Saturday at 9:30AM. The doors were actually open a few minutes before my appointment, but I waited until exactly 9:30AM to walk into the shop. The shop is quite small, but it wasn't crowded. There were three people, including myself, getting pedicures at the same time, and one person getting a manicure. There were still staff available if any other customers came in. I requested a French pedicure and was impressed with the results! It was my first time getting a French pedicure, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I'm usually a bit concerned about pedicures because my feet are sensitive and I've been nicked on my toenails a few times at other salons. My total was $57.50 before tip for the pedicure. I'm not entirely sure what type of pedicure I received since I only specified that I wanted a French pedicure with gel polish. I did receive a scrub, oil, wax, and a massage on my feet.

They remodeled, so it looks more updated, but its a whole new staff/company. I had high hopes, but I am so picky and was sad Unique Nails were no longer. I made an appointment the day prior for 9:30am. I had a gentleman as my nail tech, I showed him long oval nails, he glued on my pinky nail crooked so he had to remove the glued nail off and try again. I started to get nervous. My nails took half the time as others in, I'm assuming they are regulars for the new salon. He got acrylic all over my skin around my nails and just left it. I paid $75 plus tip for a full set with chrome finish. When i got home to look at my nails, there is a gap between the fake nail and my nails. Literally every nail was not glued on properly. I was going to go back to see if they would rectify my badly done nails, but I dont think I would go back anyways. Im so sad! Unique Nails was my favorite, i believe Dan was my regular. And now its different, and after the rushed set with acrylic all over my skin, I am saddened. I will not be returning, and I recommend anyone that goes to double check they glued the nail on properly. Make sure they do quality work so you dont end up like me. Im sure I will have to get my nails redone very soon. It took me so long to find a regular spot, now Im back to square one I am not sure if the nail tech was new or not, but I feel like I totally got ripped off.

I am very picky about the color I choose for my nails because I'm in the military and the gentlemen who did my nails painted 2 colors on my nails so that I could decide. He didn't have an attitude at all about it. My nails looked amazing and he focused on me the entire time. I will continue to come back. Hopefully they are consistently good! The prices are standard.

Honestly disappointed and got very much chop shop vibes :( I JUST got my nails done and came home with tears in my eyes. I went in asking for cat eye manicure (will insert photos of what I asked for vs what I was given), and was told that they didn't do cat eye gel and that they only do glitter top coats. I didn't want to do a glitter top coat so I opted for a gel. Whenever I chose my gel, I looked up at the polishes they had behind their stations on the shelves and seen the plaque that had cat eye gels on it to choose from. I mentioned it to the tech, and she grabbed it and I chose a color from it because I felt like her telling me she didn't have the colors felt like she didn't want to do it so I just opted for one. While she applied the polish, I felt like she was upset, and didn't have any conversation with me and it was done very quickly. When she used the magnet to give the cat eye shape, there was nothing basically done and it looks sloppy. The only reason I'm giving a 2 star is because they seen me faster than my appointment, but I'm not sure it even deserves that. 0/10 recommend for girls that want simple nails with no acrylic. Feels like they don't want you there. read more
