Around 4/5/2014, I arrived at my condo in Thousand Oaks for a final walk through as my tenants were moving out. Upon seeing the condo, I had to walk out and take a long walk. I was abhorred at how much damage and mess was produced in 6 months. I remodeled this condo from floor to ceiling only in 2010, so this was a tough sight for me. Living and working full time in San Diego, I knew I would not have time to tackle the project. I found Lynne's cleaning service on Yelp. Her advertisement mentioned she handles "move outs". I contacted her, explained the situation, and expected a decline. However, she was willing to take on the job! To put things into perspective, I was convinced this condo would be a permanently tainted rental that would no longer be suitable for me to ever occupy again. Very upsetting! How do you clean a three bed three bath home in an hour? You don't. They come in, wipe things down and leave. I left them alone on their second visit, I just asked that they lock the door when they leave. When I got home an hour later they were gone. The door was unlocked and the check I left was gone and my house wasn't clean, the bed wasn't even made. When I texted Lynn and said it was disturbing that she took the check and didn't clean my house she said "Soooo sorry, I had a really bad day." No offer to clean or give my money back. read more

I was very disappointed. Lynne charged $90 for one bedroom, one bath and less than an hour and a half of work. My daughter said they were friendly, but very inefficient. Three people came, but one talked on her phone the whole time. Things were still dusty, parts of the floor weren't cleaned. I called to complain and she said, "it's cleaner than it was." No offer to make it right. I'm a single mom and $90 is a luxury for me - the house should have been spotless. Had I been home, I wouldn't have paid until they finished the job. I used Lynne's Cleaning Service back in June 2012. I was moving out of my apartment last minute, so I could take a job transfer to AZ. So I needed her and crew's help to get my place clean quick so I could leave. They did an excellent job, and the place looked as it did when I moved in. Highly recommended. I will be having her clean my home on a bi weekly basis. I have had another cleaning company come and they didnt do nearly as much cleaning. I found her cleaning to be mediocre at best. She uses organic cleaners and they don't work. The house never looked or smelled clean. They miss ALOT of items such as empty the trash, vacuum a room, dusting. If you have wood floors don't expect for them to clean the corners. You will come home and find dust bunnies. I would come home and have to clean all the areas they missed. Her service was the worst I have ever experienced! They do speak english which is helpful but they do a horrible job cleaning. Don't waste your money on this below average cleaning service. Lynne cleaned my house for a few months. She says she checks with you before she leaves but that was only the case the first time. After that I would text her to let her know if stuff was missed. She never offered to come back and do the missed things. Her staff spent so much time chatting with each other I can see how they would lose track of what was still needed to be done. I don't know how she can "refuse my review". I had Lynne out a while back to clean my town-home before my parents visited. I chose them because of the reviews and in particular of the review from the lady who said she's picky, because I am too. (so non-picky people can take this review with a grain of salt.) They did a good job overall, however, there were three things that really bothered me about their service and maybe they can fix these. And these are the reasons, I'm not having them back. #1 - after they left, my house didn't smell clean, it smelled dirty, as if they used dirty rags that they used to clean someone else's home, on my home. #2 - I asked them to use our vacuum, which is a Dyson and really good at picking up cat hair, which we have. They didn't want to use it because they said it was too heavy to bring up the stairs. I have rheumatoid arthritis and can carry that up the stairs by myself. If your job is cleaning, I think you should be in shape enough to carry a vacuum cleaner around. In addition, there were 3 of them there, they could have had 2 people carry the vacuum if it was that difficult for one. #3 They had 3 women working on my master bath, all at once and they were in there for a half hour talking it up the entire time. It just seemed a little in-appropriate that they should be chatting so much while they worked. I think I paid her by the job and not by the hour (and it was a fair price), but I felt that maybe they would miss things in the bathroom because they were talking so much and not paying attention to their work. And I was wondering why 3 people needed to all clean the master bath, which wasn't that big or complicated. read more

The best cleaning service & They do a great job every single time. I am super, super picky mom with 3 kids and two large dogs . I had been through about 3 cleaning companies in the previous few months before I was referred to Lynne . Lynne was attentive and paid special attention to the things that I had complained about from the previous cleaners. Her and her helper Jesse were spot on , I could not have asked for a better experience. They did not even bat an eyelash at the two dogs and the 6 year old following them around. Very disappointed in this service. There were 3 people and they all worked on one room at a time, together, and barely got anything done. Within an hour they left - with my living room unvacuumed, my 2nd bedroom untouched, my bathroom counters dusty, my rugs uncleaned, my trash not taken out, they only dusted if things didn't need to be moved,etc...very disappointing and a waste of my money. read more

My cleaning gals moved to Las Vegas two years ago after helping me and my family keep a clean home for 6+ years and I have been trying to find a connection with someone that will do a good job for me and my family with special cleaning needs. I have utilized Lynn's cleaning service approximately 10x and Lynne and crew's services have been great. She is very thorough and I think their specialty are floors. My floors look great every time she leaves. We have a major medical condition in our home where dust must be kept to a minimal and cleaning supplies used must be "green" or "organic" and I always ask her and crew to prop open windows before they leave.
