I've been here 3 times now, and the service is inconsistent. The first 2 times were great, especially with Akane who was amazing. I booked again with her even though I had to wait a few days for her to be available. The day of I was asked if I could delay my appointment a bit via text, and when I arrived I was given random nail techs without any heads-up or explanation. My nails were trimmed down to the quick, despite me saying to only cut a little. I reached out to management after my appointment and was left on read. A day later my fingers still hurt enough to interfere with daily tasks like doing dishes. Not sure I'd come back.

What an amazing place. Very cute environment. But most of all I felt comfortable asking the owner to redo my nail. She happily fixed the cat eye and now I love it so much. It's hard to find a place that not only does a great job but you're comfortable to be there. Highly recommend.

Small and cute establishment, only downfall is that it's right next to a mechanic shop and there is no parking ! They do a clean job and they pride themselves with their nail art and selection of colors . The great thing is that you can book online pay a deposit and pick your nail artiest ahead of time so there is no waiting around for your turn ....you are set on a time and services . I hate waiting .... When I have an appointment I like to be seen at the time of my appointment and if you need a quick fix and nail touch up I would recommend Nails By Aloha. read more

I brought my daughter in for a kids manicure and asked if they could do a cute Paris-themed design with stickers--and they absolutely nailed it (pun intended)! From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, clean, and relaxing. Alice was incredibly patient and sweet with my daughter--she took her time picking out the stickers and made sure each nail looked perfect. My daughter left beaming with her tiny Eiffel Towers, hearts, and macarons on each finger. They were super accommodating and professional, and the attention to detail was better than some adult salons I've been to. I write this review fully cognizant of the fact that men get the short end of the stick at a nail spa - no polish means you miss half of the intended purpose, BUT... When i booked a pedicure, it was listed as a 45 minute service online with a listed price of $35. As my pedicure began, I got the upsell request of callous remover and scrub etc... politely declined thinking 45 minutes should address most of what my feet need. At the end of eight (8) minutes of working on my feet - I was told "all done." Sure, my nails were trimmed and my feet scrubbed for 20 seconds, but what is one to make of the disconnect between the price paid, the service description, and what you actually get? I'm sure, based off of all the reviews, this is the place to get your gel touched up or whatever, but if you're looking for a pleasant "spa pedicure," rest assured that it will be light on the "spa" part and sufficient on the "nail trimming." read more

Such a clean and relaxing space. They don't have a lot of it, but they have done so much with what they have! You will even find parking believe it or not! They are my favorite in the area for all sorts of pedicures, gel, or gelX nails. Very precision work, but that does not mean that they take a long time! For somebody who is always in a hurry when I go to a place like this, it is much appreciated. And I would recommend every single technician here, they have all worked on me and they're all wonderful! read more

I've been here twice for pedicures. First time I had Anna, today it was Stella. Both are great. Today Stella made sure to help me with my ingrown toenails. I got the Chill-lax with 5 extra minutes of massage and I felt so much better. Thank you Stella. So clean, relaxing, pleasant and a calm environment. I don't think it matters who you get here, they all seem so kind and ready to help you. read more

I definitely went to your nail salon. I find it very interesting that you claim I never went to your nail salon in La Crescenta!!! What are you trying to hide? Maybe getting a one a star review means you need to improve on your services and train your nail technicians better!!!!! I will NEVER go to Nails By Aloha in La Crescenta again. Definitely very expensive and the fact that the nail technician wanted a more expensive tip was also a red flag for me!!! There are plenty of nails salons nearby that do an outstanding job, are much more reasonable and do not ask for an exorbitant amount of tip at the end!!!!!! read more

Both my daughter and I have been here at different times and were treated like royalty. Our manicures and pedicures have lasted over 3 weeks. We did choose gel and chrome colors, which is intended to last, but it really has. The color choices and list of services are incredible. If you get chrome you can get a color underneath so it's almost like two services. The color of the building out front is a shocking lime green. So cute and very easy to spot. Parking is a bit tricky but so worth it! Thank you! read more

I've been going to the La Crescenta location for a little less than a year. Alice and her team are just the best. The moment you walk in, you are tended too with care, and they genuinely love the work that they do. They always try to make sure you get the best color for you, and even make suggestions and rearrangements to your liking. Alice is great! She's really helped me with my ingrown toe nails. I'm so appreciative! They've always been so bad and she's managed to cut them in a way that they grow straight and now we just maintain them. So happy to not have pain in my toes all the time now. The salon is cute and cozy. Everyone is always so welcoming and nice. Competitive pricing. Always on time for appointments! Best men's pedicure and foot massage I've have in a very long time! Stella was working solo and was very fast, professional, clean and had wonderfully strong hands! We look forward to going back soon as my wife had a gel manicure which was done after my mends pedicure. So happy I discovered this cute little nail salon. I've probably been to almost all the nail salons along Foothill Blvd. This is by far the best one I've been to and will continue to go to from now on. I keep my nails natural and on the shorter side. I am very particular about keeping my nailbeds strong and being perfecy uniform and shaped. I was VERY impressed with how meticulously my nails were shaped, cleaned and polished. Eva was very lighthanded when removing my previous gel polish which I appreciated. She was so very sweet and patient and pleasant to chit chat with. The shop had a fun, cute vibe. VERY different from the other salons I've been going to. If you know, you know. They do very neat and through work. I'm very happy with my nails . I got this structured gel for my fingers and regular for my toes. Price was $85 . I have been to other salons in the city. This place is by far the best so far. Appointment is recommend since the place is small. Employees are all seem to be nice and good at their work. Place is clean and relaxing . There are parkings in front of the salon but it's hard to get out . So street seems better read more

When I arrived, I was greeted up front and sat down for my pedicure. As soon as I put my feet in the water, it started burning. I told the lady it burns and asked if she could change the water. She tapped my foot and said no and told me to put it back in. After that, it became clear they didn't want to do the acrylic work, even though I called ahead. About five ladies surrounded my feet and kept repeating "gel" and "acrylic" for several minutes while talking to each other and laughing. The lady doing my toes then said they couldn't charge it as a fill and that it had to be a full set. I told her, "Wait, this is a full set." She mumbled and told me to ask the lady next to her, so I did, and that lady said, "Okay, just do a fill." Then I asked how much acrylic would be. They all started talking to each other and ignored me. After a few minutes I asked again, and one of the ladies looked at me and said, "We will not tell you right now. We will let you know." That made me feel like they were keeping the price vague so they could charge me more than what my fill actually should be. At that point I said never mind and walked out. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at a nail salon, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I will never go back. I truly wish I could give this place 0 stars--they do not know how to treat people. Even some of the ladies in the salon told me I wasn't wrong for leaving.
