I was leaving on a 6+ week trip, and I knew it would be a month before I could get my nails done again. I asked for tips, and they ended up doing an extra coat of what I can only assume is MAGIC, because my nails still looked AMAZING after a month (grown out of course, but still very neat)!!!! In fact, I got engaged 2 days before the month mark, and people thought I had just gotten them done! Cannot recommend them enough if you want a long lasting manicure!

I absolutely love this salon! I've been to so many in the Glendale/burbank/La Crescenta area and this is my favorite. I can never go anywhere else again. Taik always does a clean and beautiful job. Sometimes I go in not knowing exactly what I want and she consistently has me leave with a gorgeous set. I won't let anyone else touch my nails except her. She also has girls who do a great job with pedis! I have some tough growing nails and they always clean and shape them perfectly. Love this salon! highly recommend it!

Oh my gosh, never again will I go to another nail technician. I have been following Taik for over a year now and she is a miracle worker. After changing nail salons every month, due to my nails chipping constantly, lifting after a week or breaking, since Taik I no longer have this issue. Because of Taik my natural nails grow out so long that they look like acrylics. I always do a gel manicure and it lasts me for 3 weeks if not longer because of Taik. She is very detailed, and as OCD and picky as I am. Besides that she is the sweetest and most friendly person ever. I love her! If you want your gel manicure to last, and you want excellent customer service this salon and Taik are a must!!

She burned be with a nail file and drill multiple times and nipped my skin very badly. The filing of my nails was uneven and overall they look bulky and inconsistent. I messaged the salon on Sunday night and Taik got back to me pretty quickly. I scheduled a gel mani with her the next day and she made it as easy as can be. I had a great experience with her from beginning to end. She is so respectful of her clients time and works quickly but is very detail oriented. She has the type of personality where you feel like you've known her forever! Very easy to talk to :) My nails came out soooo great!! I still can't stop looking at them. She got the shape just right and length and everything. She even suggested the design which I loved cause I always do a design but wasn't feeling inspired lol. I recently came by here for a hard gel manicure and I was pleasantly surprised. You never know when you are trying out new places. But I'm so happy I found this place. Miriam was the person who helped me but everyone who was working was very friendly. I'm very happy with my nails. Don't go to this La crescenta location. The whole time the receptionist was yelling at her husband in front of me. And he was arguing with her too. I felt SO UNSAFE. And my hard gel nails were horribly done. You could tell she didn't know what she was doing and still charged me an insane amount. Do yourself a favor and go absolutely ANYWHERE else. read more

After so many poor past experiences, I'm so glad to have found Pamper Me. Everyone who has worked on me (Liza, Mariam) has done a great job. They take their time, follow the steps, and make me laugh along the way. You can tell they actually take a lot of pride in their work and truly want to give you what you want. My gel mani's and pedi's last a minimum of 3 weeks and their prices are very fair. Definitely my new go to spot. read more

Requested acrylic full set, was talked into gel x and charged extra for it. Gel X nails were smaller than my nail bed so kind of pinched my nail beds. Paint job was 5/10 a little sloppy and had a lot of lint stuck to it. Vibe was amazing the other staff helping were very attentive and tried to make the experience great. Pedicure 10/10 the women cleaned up the nail bed dead skin around and paint job was perfect read more

I came here on a whim as I had some time to kill between appointments, and needed a manicure. I was immediately welcomed and introduced to Mariam. She was so pleasant and kind, and asked what I wanted done. She was thorough and did a fantastic job. Ive had my gel manicure for almost two weeks, and haven't had a single nail chip or lift. I've also had some sanitary issues with previous nail salons but Mariam was very clean and sanitary. Will definitely be visiting Mariam again soon! read more

My nails broke one day into my vacation... and they were suppose to be my vacation nails. Not only that, but my other nails broke so I paid 80+ dollars for cheap acrylics. It was such a disappointment because they were so nice looking but i guess they only use the cheap stuff. Don't come here if you want your nails to break easily, the price isn't worth it. read more

I am not one to write reviews. However, this awful experience requires documentation. This is the worst pedicure I've ever had in my entire lifetime. Every single toenail was cut into a different shape; some square, some round and additionally, the paint was incomplete on some of the nails. I quietly remarked to the manager, that even though I was aware the pedicure could not be fixed, it was an incredibly horrific job. The manager immediately got defensive, and spent 45 minutes trying to convince me that it was a job well done. She refused to accept that I was not happy with the service, constantly telling me that I had 'asked for my nails to be cut,' to which I remarked that I understand, but I would have appreciated them to be cut evenly/same shape. My sister who was also experiencing an equally bad time in the chair next to me, shrieked as her hand started bleeding from the other incompetent nail technician. The manager then proceeded to ask me to step outside to further 'discuss' my unhappiness and continued to try and convince me that the job was completely satisfactory?!?!?! I have never in America experienced such awful customer service and will surely never be returning to this nail salon read more

I'm so glad I found my go-to salon! I've been going to Taik about twice a month for my gel mani and sometimes a pedi. Every single time she delivers and my mani lasts up to 3 weeks! She's always on call and is available to help (like the time I broke a nail!) Her prices are reasonable and she does a great job. Lisa is the one who did my nails and she did a very good job. The service was amazing, friendly, clean, and professional. The manager is professional. Promptly and politely refunded me. However, when I went to the nail bar to pick my refund up, I was forced to give the nail bar a favor before I could even get my refund. It was withheld until I did said favor, which was not what the manager and I agreed on. We agreed to refund me and that I would kindly do said favor once I got my refund. My refund was not contingent on this favor. This refund was for a very valid and good reason before said favor was even mentioned by the manager. Her team is unprofessional and I genuinely cannot believe the way everybody except the manager has treated me at this business. read more

I needed a last minute appointment for my nails and the owner was so accommodating and nice that she opened 30 minutes early for me so that I can leave on time. I wasn't expecting this but I'm so glad I gave this salon a try. She did my Gel-X perfectly and I loved my nails. The salon is super clean and pretty as well. Will definitely return. read more

Stumbled upon this nail salon few months ago when I needed a pedicure and they had an available appointment same day. Went in and was amazed at the great service I received along with the attention to detail by my nail tech doing my pedicure. After my second pedicure with them, I decided to have Taik do my nails. She always has my nails looking great. I had initially removed my acrylics and started to do hard gel. My nails have grown out and look amazing. I even went bowling a few times and no broken nails. Love all the ladies who work here. read more

I was getting my nails done by Kathy and my pedicures by Cindy. Everything was great there were…read moretimes where I did need to go back and get my nails redone because the chrome fell off or things of that nature and they were willing to fix it. I went had my nails done paid $110 and the chrome was falling off so I sent Kathy a message and we reschedule rescheduled for her to fix. When I got there, she wanted to redo the same nail polish. I told her no showed her a different design, but she insisted on doing the same design. Kept saying she didn't have time I explained that I didn't have time to keep coming back and that I had a graduation that night. I didn't like it at the end. She got upset. It took a lot longer than she wanted. I explained to her that I did not want it in the first place she shouldn't have done it. I showed her what I wanted because I wasn't trusting that that design was gonna come off again. She got highly upset after she made the mistake as if it was my fault. I'm only writing this review because I really enjoyed going there and I really enjoyed getting my nails done with her one of the ladies there comes and tapped me on the shoulder and tells me that Kathy doesn't have time and I told her she's gonna do it because I paid her already. She explained that I will no longer be allowed to get my nails done there all of this because she made the mistake redid them twice not what I wanted, was late to her next appointment because she didn't listen to me in the first place. when I first got there at 9 AM and she didn't get there till 915 almost 920 to start my nails. I guess her being late was my fault too so even though I was kind, never rude did not yell kept my calm, I was told that I was not allowed to get my nails done there any longer that Kathy said she would no longer do my nails again because my designs take too long and it was to much for her. she made the mistakes and did not properly apply the polish, she admitted that to me. somehow I was to blame, so I'm giving them a one star for their customer service and for telling me not to come back to the shop because my nails take too long and it was to much for her to deal with my nails. I love getting designs and it is her fault that the polish was coming off. I had to get it off my chest. I was so upset I have never been told I could not go back to shop I've gotten designs by her that lasted four weeks never had an issue so all of this was very surprising to me after I was so kind to them. Great tips good laughs and they treat me this way. I guess that's how nail shops do it nowadays they don't like you or your designs are too much for them to deal with they ask you not to come back. Just left a bad taste and felt so humiliated. This polish literally started peeling the same day. I sent her the message and photos not to long after she did them. Horrible experience

She tapped my foot and said no and told me to put it back in. After that, it became clear they didn't want to do the acrylic work, even though I called ahead. About five ladies surrounded my feet and kept repeating "gel" and "acrylic" for several minutes while talking to each other and laughing. The lady doing my toes then said they couldn't charge it as a fill and that it had to be a full set. I told her, "Wait, this is a full set." She mumbled and told me to ask the lady next to her, so I did, and that lady said, "Okay, just do a fill." Then I asked how much acrylic would be. They all started talking to each other and ignored me. After a few minutes I asked again, and one of the ladies looked at me and said, "We will not tell you right now. We will let you know." That made me feel like they were keeping the price vague so they could charge me more than what my fill actually should be. At that point I said never mind and walked out. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at a nail salon, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I will never go back. I truly wish I could give this place 0 stars--they do not know how to treat people. Even some of the ladies in the salon told me I wasn't wrong for leaving.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

My go to nail place. I'm here every two weeks, nice and clean, easy parking and the nail tecks are experienced and professional. They never rush, they take their time. They also take walk-in but I always try to make my appointments in advance so I don't have to wait. Receptionist is super nice and always helpful . They also do eyebrow waxing and eyelash extensions which I do more often . I would highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed and you'll be their costumer. read more
