The trainer was very patient and really individualized the instruction for every dog in the class. My dog is very skittish around loud noises, so she'd work with how he was feeling that day. I really appreciated that! I plan to retake the class, hoping he'll get more used to the surroundings the more he's exposed to it. He did learn a lot though and she taught me how consistency makes the training not as difficult as I thought it would be.

When Janice was in the class, I was super impressed. And, she works with the Chicago Court Case Dog Program...so awesome! Okay, long story? Here goes: I have wanted a dog for a long time. At my friend's graduation party last year, she recommended that I contact Megan. Megan acted as a dog head hunter for my friend. Wait...that reads/sounds bad. Lemme rephrase: Megan hunted a dog down for my frie...wait. Megan searched for a dog for my friend (okay, better). My friend said that Megan would do the same for me and, dang it, she did! Interestingly enough, she found the perfect dog for me the same day that I adopted the most perfect dog for me! Even more interestingly enough, Megan trained the dog that she originally found for me and my dog. ANNNNDDD, my dog and the other dog are now in the same walking group! It's like 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, but for dogs! In almost serious, I tell that story to point out that Megan is dedicated to connecting people and dogs so that all parties are happy as clams! Oh! Megan is also a great trainer. She is very attentive to the pups and the people. I think dog training is not only about training the dog, but also - and potentially more importantly - it is about training the people. Since we were learning so many skills each class, she gave us homework sheets so that we could practice the way she taught us in class. If we had questions, we could ask her pretty much at any time. She is also amazingly available on email. I mean, I have sent her frantic emails at 12a asking why the hell my dog won't walk, what type of harness goes with what type of dog seatbelt, why does she insist on chewing the wood in the apartment versus the thousands of chewies I bought, so on and so forth, and she has emailed me back within the hour or by 7a the next morning (disclaimer: she might not do that all of the time, but I was impressed when she did it for me). Overall, I heart Megan and Dog Behavior Solutions. We want her to be safe, healthy, happy, and exhausted at the end of the day, and Patty is all of the above. The staff are so friendly and kind, and they know Patty so well. You can see how much they love dogs. Brian and Colleen (owners) were very thoughtful in creating the facilities (3 buildings because they've grown so much) and in training their staff. You can even see pictures of your dog on Doggie Depot's Facebook or Instagram. Dogs are assigned to one of three buildings based on dog size and temperament. Dogs get a one-hour break during the day to rest and eat. For boarding, you drop off your dog in the morning so that s/he is tired and ready for bed (standard and suites available). The rates are very reasonable, and if you purchase a package of 10, you get a discount. It's so much better than having a dog walker because your pup is happy, socialized and gets tons of exercise.

I don't want to brag, but...my dogs are VERY well behaved. And it's not just me...I get compliments ALL the time on how good they are, how well they listen and walk, and how they even know sign language. Having two bully breeds my life could have been so much more challenging had they not got properly trained so I'm glad that things worked out so well.

Toriano agreed to barter dollar for dollar with myself/company to do hardscaping in exchange. We agreed to have my employees 2-3 stay at his place because the commute was too far for my crew and shop. When it came time for the work to start Toriano decided to change the agreement and terms. He demanded that my top employees submit their information to him so he could do a background check. (This wasn't apart of the agreement/contract we had upon signing) He refused my guys staying with him. The job ended up costing way more due to this inconvenience. I told him that since he changed the agreement that he owes me $3500 to cover my costs). He never paid and I got screwed. Toriano promised to get my dog certified which also never happened. His price was too steep given these factors... Fast forward... My wife and I hired Toriano and his company to train our newest member of our family. Toriano promised us it would take 8 weeks. He told us he will get her certified in Therapy. It took him an additional 4 weeks in training and never got her certified. My wife and I were pissed because not only did he make false promises but also demanded that we pay for the extra time it took to get our dog trained and food he supposedly supplied. We couldn't pick up our dog until the balance was paid in full. He's made several promises and absolutely No follow through. (We were on vacation the time our pup was there.) When our dog was there longer than expected Toriano said he couldn't get her certification because we were picking her up early. Mind you he forced us to pay him the extra month it took for training instead of it being on his business to eat. 2022 - my friend was looking to hire someone to train her dogs. I told her about Toriano the good and bad. She decided to give him a try and do something at her house instead of boarding. Toriano quoted her after coming out to see the pup $7500 for one week. She could afford it but thought that was too much for someone without overhead expenses as this is what he'd charge when having overhead. Toriano business partner send my friend a text offering 50% off the price quoted to earn her business. She declined because it appeared that because she's a female that they we're trying to pull a fast one on her. Why wouldn't they have just offered this in the beginning?? Just shady business. I've heard this nonsense from a few people I referred to him and his company. He only hires people that he can 1099 so he's not responsible for actual payroll and laws. However he sets time of operation and makes the 1099's obied by the Illinois laws of an employee. Now we have our dogs trained out by us. We found out that certification for dogs aren't for every dog as Toriano said. False promises, false agreements or claims. We all who have experienced this don't trust him. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES AND TAKE YOUR DOGS- MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

We have boarded our old dog and current dog at this hotel since they opened as Paradise 4 Paws. We…read morehad no issues at all when it was Paradise 4 Paws, but since it was bought out by Wag Hotels, everything went downhill quickly. My current dog (large german shepherd mix - around 100lbs) came back smelling like urine after a 5 day stay - we had him groomed before his stay so there is no reason why he should have smelled this way after being boarded for 5 days. (side note - before it was bought by Wag Hotels, this place offered all day play for dogs and we were told we would be grandfathered into that on our account but after one stay, that option disappeared - it was just 2 one-hour play sessions and anything beyond that would be an additional charge). What's worse than the dog coming home smelling like urine is that the last two stays (one was for a week and the other was for 5 days), I got a call from the hotel while on vacation telling me that my dog was being aggressive toward other dogs. While my dog is big and a loud barker, he is not aggressive - he is playful but not aggressive at all. This second time, Wag decided to take him out of play group and do "special care play" (not sure of the official name of this option) which is one on one "play" with a human - based on the handful of photos we received, not sure there was any play involved, and this is an additional $55 daily charge on top of the already pricey overnight boarding charge that is $70 on weekdays and even more on weekends and holidays. It's funny and so coincidental that our dog never had any behavior issues at this hotel prior to it being bought out by Wag Hotels and all the additional fees they have invented. And now suddenly our dog needs special care to the tune of an additional $55 per day? Needless to say, we will not be returning and will not recommend this facility for daycare or boarding for any pet.

Our unique situation of moving across the country with a much different living situation went very smoothly with our dogs because Jamie prepped them for all the new things they would encounter. We decided the 2 week board and train would be best for our situation. Denali is a Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix and was jumping, barking, crazy Impulsive, eating socks, and paper things. Just 2 weeks of training and he was calmer, he would stay on a "place" his cot, he didn't drag me on our walks. People would say how well he would behave then when they found out he was less than a year old they were amazed. OMG I love Jaime she has been a GOD Sent. Jaime came back for a follow-up visit and had to run back to her car and Denali actually cried when she left. He loves her and so do I! Thank you for all you help and continued support.
