Thank god fashion nail and spa is right down the block they do it and I ran right on over Only for them to ask me if I wanna clean my cuticles I looked at them and they didn't look too trimmed and sunflower charged me $30. For what exactly ? Seems that was only for them to cover the money they're not making so they overcharge but that's okay because that's including your tip. Save your money go somewhere else I don't recommend and quite frankly I'm tired of these amateur nail techs And after further review and reading other reviews it seems he charged me the amount of a full service vs what I actually received Shame on you. I used to get gel manicures with Be for many years and she is great! 5 stars for her! Probably the best nail tech I've ever had. Hieu is also very good but only works limited days of the week so it's hard sometimes to schedule with her if she's booked. I've tried over 5 different nail techs for my pedicures. Every single time the polish is applied it's sloppy and uneven. It seems if you're getting a basic $29 pedicure they rush through it. I personally don't need callus treatment so I always get the basic service. They barely massage your feet or legs. Today the nail tech (Liz) didn't even clean up the cuticle area or around the nails. She clipped and quickly filed them. The polish had bubbles, was uneven and sloppy. I still tipped her $10! Perhaps they need to wear magnifying glasses so that they can see their work. Plus she was running 30 minutes late for my appointment. Months ago I had a pedicure with Derek and he did an outstanding polish job but a so-so pedicure. He didn't bother to file my nails or clean up the areas around the nail. 30 second massage on each foot. When the man working the front desk asked me if everything was good I told him no and he didn't seem to care. They also re-use their nail files and buffers on the clients. Not very sanitary. I'm at the point where I am just going to move on and find another nail salon. It's too bad because it's such a beautiful salon and most of the people there are very nice.

Hailey and the other…read morenail technicians I've had in the past have always been amazing, kind, attentive, and welcoming. They've always made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience today was very different. The nail technician who did my nails seemed rushed, aggressive, and dismissive. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted my nails done because he kept trying to do them his own way instead of listening to what I was asking for. There was also a moment where I thought three coats of polish had been applied, but when I asked about it, I was told only two coats were done and was told I could "look at the cameras" if I wanted to verify it, which felt unnecessary and rude. Overall, my nails turned out okay in the end, but only because I had to repeatedly speak up and guide the process myself. The biggest issue wasn't the final result, it was the attitude and overall experience. Getting your nails done is supposed to feel relaxing, and unfortunately today it was stressful instead.
