I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon. HEAVEN and the whole appointment felt rushed. While she was doing my nails, she was complaining to another worker that she was supposed to leave an hour ago and that she was tired. Parking is compact and hard to find. I have been here around 5 times but always with Johnny. Yesterday I went in as a walk in and Kim did my nails. Although she's a super sweet lady, the quality I got was not worth how much I was charged. I got gel x extensions and she left a gap in between my nail and the extension on some of my fingers and now dirt gets trapped & it can easily break off. Also it's barely day 2 and they are already lifting and the placement of the nails as well were not straight on some of my fingers, you can see in the pictures they look crooked and they look worse in person. Also it took a very long time to get my nails done. The time and price is overall is NOT worth it. This place would be five stars if it was based on the Nail techs. The nail techs are great. The only reason that I'm taking away two stars is because I would say that their phone/text only gets answered about 30% of the time during business hours. I will call and call and get sent to voicemail and there I've even been times that I've had to walk in only to find out that it's not busy - yet no one is answering the phones. On several occasions recently after calling for 24 hours and not getting a response I went somewhere else. I have no idea who's managing but if you see this, please have your front desk people actually answer the phone and I would change this to five stars in a second. If you take your chances of trying to get a hold of them, I can recommend almost any of the Nail techs for a great manicure and pedicure. The tech who removed my gel-x nails drilled off entirely too much of my natural nails while removing the gel-x and nearly exposed my nail bed. I'm surprised I didn't start bleeding. It's been quite a while since my appointment and my nails still hurt, especially when they touch hot water, and they are bright red. They'll probably continue to feel like this until they fully grow out, which is going to take a long time. She left quite a few cuts on my fingers as well. She works with you and doesn't push you to try to change your design and always asks if the last step is to your approval before moving on. She is soo sweet and down to earth. If I could, I would give them 0 stars for the horrifying customer service, the lack of competence in their skill, and the quality of their nails. I paid a significant amount for Gel X nails for both my daughters and by the time we got home, both of their nails fell off!!! When I called them, no one gave me a resolution and stated, they will speak with the management in order to see what they can do. They never got back to me and I had to go in again to ask them for a follow up and if they heard from management, the rude receptionist stated "it's already been too long and we will not provide refund for the entire amount and they will not be able to redo the nails (not that I would ever want them to do our nails again). Keep in mind, the management took longer on purpose to resolve my issue, only to deny the refund because it was a few days even though I was waiting to hear back from them. My girls wear heartbroken as it was supposed to be for a family vacation for my birthday. I paid $146 for both my daughters' nails only to have it last less than 2 days! My mom went here to do a full set. Her nail paint bubbled 2 days later in several nails . Went back to Re do them and a few days later it was worse. The bubbles looked like they had liquid inside she had pop them. However she had been going here few times wanted to give it another shot. Well, they scheduled her appointment for the wrong time. I told them they had her time wrong when they text me to confirm and the response i received was "we'll let you know tomorrow if that works". I explained the bad experience from the last time thinking they would give us the original time frame to try to accommodate us and asked to speak to the owner but again the response was just, " Ok here is the owners phone number her name is Ahn." I never leave reviews, but this place is HORRIBLE. I asked for regular gel which is 28. I was taken care of by two ladies. I asked for a specific color nothing more. When I was brought to be charged they were charging me 42! And I was so confused because I asked for regular never gel. Two of these ladies persisted that I be asked for gel when I did not. Decided to go get a pedicure for the first time, I made the appointment in person on Friday night for Saturday morning at 11 for me and my mom. We were taken right away, I got Michael and my mom got her nails done by Linda. I let Michael know this was my first time ever getting a pedicure so whatever he felt was best for the service he could do, he made me aware if anything was an extra charge, and explained parts of the service as he was doing them. Michael was very friendly and made sure the whole service was amazing, im so glad my first experience was better than I thought it would be. My mom also had an amazing experience and let me know that Linda did a fantastic job. She was so happy at how well taken care of she felt. I have been to the nail Pavilion before about four years ago and the same situation happened. I got my nails done, they rushed the curing process and then a day later four or five of my nails bubbled up and needed to be redone. Not only did I pay $250 to have my nails and two other people to have their nails done, when I went in there to ask them to fix it two days later. They said I should've called and that no one could fix anything and maybe try calling tomorrow to see if anyone could fix my nails. I am extremely busy with work, school, and kids activities. I don't have time to go to the nail salon three times in one week. I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated and how much money I paid and had to go pay another salon to fix my nails. Had a horrible experience with scheduling with this company. I reached out to them at 9:08am to schedule a lash refill appointment for a week out. No one responded the entire day. I work a full time job and I finished my entire shift without a response and when I told them that I was going elsewhere to get this service done. I got a lame excuse that my message went to the bottom of the messages because they were so busy. This has never happened before. They are now losing a long time customer because of their negligence. read more
