We've been trybig to deal with this M & F auto place for a good six months now my dad bought a car (GMC Sierra 2015) drove from Albuquerque to Denver Colorado for son's his senior year. The 1st day my son officially took the car out on his way home from school the check engine light came on! took it to a few places and all of them CONFIRMED the engine was already shot and that most dealers know with GMC's and high mileage that the engines are no good! TOOK TO A GMC BUCK DEALSHIP here in Colorado and they say there was metal in my engin!!!! They (GMC BUCK COLORADO) apologized for me getting delt a shity deal from M&F auto Albuquerque! I made a review on facebook after being ignored for months someone called me the day of the review and promised me he would be back to me and he would be talking to his general manager because they don't like the bad review and they want good relationships with their customer. Two weeks have gone by and not a word from them before we had called them and told them that it had broken down the day. took it out and they said since it was a day after the warranty, they were no longer responsible for it so the minimum warranty is days and since it that, that it was not then. The warranty people didn't wanna cover it because it wasn't past 1000 miles that it was driven. And said that the dealership is responsible for it. so no matter what they sold us a damn beautiful car just a shitty engine.!!!! I feel really saddened and heartbroken imagine you are a 17-year-old senior in high school who thinks you're getting your dream car for your senior year that your grandpa paid 15,000 in CASH for only for this to happen to you! IT NEEDS A 14,899 engine!

Finger tight passenger wheel speed sensor

Bought a car on 11/2 from M&F on Coors. Curtis the sales man was amazing and very helpful until the sale was done. They agreed before purchase to take care of an issue and get emissions test done at same time. We scheduled an appointment and brought it down to Albuquerque, got a call a short time later saying the car was done. Checked on the work they said they would do and the service technician 135, Michael Meredith did a very poor, lazy job with the work he did leaving extra wires under the seat and a huge hole in the center console. The service advisor Kameron McIntyr was also very unprofessional while picking up the car saying stuff like the hole is the center console was "no big deal". A couple days after that I get a call from Crystal, the sales manager over at the Coors M&F stating the emissions test was never preformed as agreed upon asking me to take my car all the way back to Albuquerque to take care of something they promised would be taken care of already. After a lengthy debate with Crystal they finally decided to send Curtis to meet me in Santa Fe while i was at work to get emissions test taken care of. It is now 12/12 and I am still waiting on them to send my license plate. Unprofessional, lazy, and a severe lack of communication would be the only words to explain my purchase from the Coors M&F auto. I would strongly recommend looking somewhere/ anywhere else for your next used vehicle. Curtis was the only good part about buying a car from them, everything else was and continues to be a hassle.................. 12/16 Update. Just over two thousand miles since I bought the car and I am now experiencing multiple malfunction indicator lamps on dash. I scanned my car and found diagnostic trouble code U1412, implausible vehicle speed single received. I lifted my car to check my wheel speed sensors and found the passenger front sensor bolt to be finger tightened and the driver front sensor was missing a bolt completely. Yet another example of unreliable, untrustworthy work by technician 135, Michael Meredith and the M&F Auto team over on Coors.

They replaced the dipstick at their cost however I did not notice the hose that was pulled until my wife mentioned that the car was running rough. They were not able to align my vehicle within specifications. I replaced lower control arms and took it back in under warranty to get it realigned. I had an appointment at 10:00 AM. That's when I met Renee the rude unprofessional manager. She told me that an appointment doesn't mean my vehicle will be serviced at that time. I was told that it probably won't be serviced until the end of the day because she only had two techs.. She was unable to find my wife's name or phone number or the appointment we had a month prior. She said that because I didn't have a receipt she was unable to look it up. I told her they didn't give us a receipt they only gave us a specification sheet indicating what was aligned I asked if they emailed the receipts she said yes I then asked could she look it up via email. She got snarky with me and said I can only look it up with your phone number or receipt number. Kept asking me why I was there and I told her to get the vehicle realigned and I then told her that they damaged the tie rods the first time they did the alignment. The boots were torn and the tie rods were over torqued. She then ask me if I was implying that the technicians don't know what they're doing, to which I responded exactly, they don't know what they're doing they tore my boots and over torqued the tie rods. These were brand new tie rods a month old. Renee then told me I don't know what I'm talking about, the tie rods don't use grease or have boots. I told her that at minimum she's they're going to replace the boots that they're cost and possibly the tie rod on the driver side because of being over torqued. She eventually told me they are not replacing anything. She then said that I was not smart for bringing it back to a shop that broke the car in the first place. That if it were her she wouldI have taken it to another shop. I told her you broke it you fix it. I also told her that the last time I was in there they broke the dipstick during a pre inspection and at that point she lost it and told me to get out get out of the shop that she was refusing service and then she was going to call the police on me. Do not go to the Coors and I-40 location Firestone.

It took longer because I needed a new tire and the one I needed was at a different location. A Firestone driver brought the tire so we had to wait. No problem. Instead, I got a rushed, incomplete service wrapped in vague explanations and capped off with new mechanical problems that appeared within days. I was charged $250 for the oil change and a brake fluid replacement. The brake service was pitched in a way that sounded like a modest add-on only for the final bill to be far higher than expected. I authorized the work in good faith, trusting the confidence of a young technician. That trust was misplaced. The invoice is vague, poorly written, and fails to confirm whether the oil used meets Dexos 1 or Dexos Gen 2 certification a basic, critical disclosure for this type of service. I arrived at about 5:23 PM. They close at 6:00, but didn't ring me out until 6:14. Out of courtesy, I didn't check the work there, thinking they'd done their job. When I got home five minutes later, I saw the interior was in the same state same dirt, same debris. Their "vacuum" either barely touched the floor or simply didn't work. My oil life monitor hadn't been reset, which is about 10 seconds, I had to do myself. This isn't attention to detail, it's negligence dressed up as service. When it came to communicating the vehicle's condition, the failure got worse. The technician who actually worked on my car stood right next to the one who rang me up and yet, I had to be the one to ask if there were any leaks. Even then, the answer was vague, as if checking for leaks was optional. Where's the professionalism? Where's the basic courtesy to explain the findings clearly? This is supposed to be the "Signature Service" not a guessing game for the customer. A few days later, my check engine light came on. AutoZone's scan pointed to a mass air flow leak and a rich fuel mixture issues I've never had before. On top of that, the cashier not the technician who serviced my car casually mentioned I have a motor oil leak. I asked what could be done, and his answer was: "We don't know where it's at, but if you get a tracer liquid and shine a UV light, we could trace it back to see where the leak is." That's right I had to be the one to ask about next steps for a serious oil leak, and the guidance I got was vague and dismissive! A major mechanical issue should be proactively identified and explained, not mentioned as an afterthought by someone who didn't even touch the vehicle! That's not service. That's carelessness with consequences. I usually go to a different Jiffy Lube 3540# farther away. I tried this one for convenience. That was a huge mistake! My regular location has integrity and respect for customers, this one lost me to their competition for good. Corporate: if you're reading this, understand this is not a "bad day" review this is the result of negligence, poor communication, and a lack of pride in workmanship. The competition is already doing better. I'll be taking my business back to them permanently.

Just brought truck in for another service, specifically asked guy receiving not to touch air filter housing as I had just replaced clips. Did an under the hood parking lot check getting ready to leave, and clips were missing again. So 1. They messed with what I specifically asked them not to and 2. Broke/lost something off of my truck and didn't tell me about it. Easy enough to replace myself when I got home (jiffy lube didn't even offer to fix/replace what they had broken. Not the first time I have had an issue with this business, but I was overdue, had the time and didn't want all the hassles of doing it myself. Still looking for competent, reliable and honest auto maintenance in this town, this Jiffy line isn't it.

Went into a different shop when check engine came on - now at the end of our cross country trip I'm in CO - asked if the shop could quickly check the code for me. The mechanic kind of begrudgingly did, but he did it quickly and then honestly told me what the issue was, reset the code and sent me on my way. $0 dollars. Old town automotive should be avoided at all costs. Not trustworthy. I asked them if they could quickly check the code. She told me how much a full diagnostic was ($200) I should have left then. After the "full diagnostic" When I asked if they would charge me a "partial diagnostic" she said no. I asked for the Yelp check in discount $10 or $20 maybe? no. AAA discount ? No. After asking if the was anything she could do to help me out she finally caved and gave me the aaa discount because she "doesn't even subscribe to Yelp and can't understand them on the phone half the time." I don't know if it's worth noting... THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS BECAUSE OF YELP, It was 10 or $20 discount and they were already ripping me off... I regret letting my anxiety get the better of me at the start of the trip. This situation was easily avoidable. I should have just left. Still waiting for that full diagnosis btw. Boo this garage.
