My 2017 Ford Taurus was totaled, and since I really liked the vehicle, I searched for the same model and found one exactly like mine at Forthright Auto. From the initial contact through the purchase, their team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Based on that experience alone, I would have rated them highly. However, the experience changed significantly after the sale. When the vehicle arrived, one of the headlights needed to be replaced. I contacted Forthright, and they agreed to provide a replacement. To simplify the process and avoid shipping delays, I offered to purchase the part myself if they reimbursed me. They agreed to this arrangement. Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-up messages, I never received the promised payment or any meaningful response. Communication stopped entirely once the issue arose. While the buying process was smooth, the lack of follow-through afterward was disappointing and reflects poorly on their customer service. A dealership's responsibility should not end at the point of sale. Because of this unresolved issue, I cannot recommend them. read more

Chris, Shauntell and the rest of the team are so friendly and helpful. Chris did everything he could to make sure I left with the vehicle I wanted. He let me test drive the vehicle a couple times and even to take it to get a PPI before purchasing. Worst car-buying experience of my life Jacob was very slow to respond, and it took several weeks to close the deal and get the car delivered to me in Texas. Once I received it, I found that the horn did not work, so I could not pass state inspection. Forthright has refused to call me back regarding the nearly $1000 repair. Forthright held the title while I got this handled and was supposed to send it to the County Tax Assessor but instead sent it to the lienholder, so I'm having to jump through hoops to get it registered. The vehicle has since shown another major issue that was likely evident when they sold it to me. Editing to add after business response: I can provide numerous examples of Jacob saying he would contact me and not doing so until I contacted him. Regarding the horn, the issue was the clock spring. I requested numerous calls back from management and did not receive a single one. I'm more than happy to provide the receipt. It was never requested, and there was never any indication Forthright even cared to make any attempt to help. Jacob simply recommended against taking it to a Nissan dealership. If you're serious about helping, please contact me. You have my information. I'm glad to know how to finally get a response. Unfortunately, because of how unresponsive Forthright was, the vehicle was not registered until I spent more money to have their issue fixed. Also, this issue was reported during the required warranty period, but I was told it would not be covered. Once I had the repair completed, I was told by Forthright that the title would be sent back to the tax assessor's office and I would be contacted once it was done. It was never sent, and I was never contacted. As stated, I've attempted multiple times to contact you, Mark. If you'd like to discuss and have even an inkling of customer service skills and professionalism, you're welcome to take it initiative to FINALLY call me back. WOW!! Talk about shady business!!! I read other reviews to see if I was the only one dealing with this kind of treatment. Sad to say I am not the only one! Forthright auto must think it is good business practice to disrespect a person by wasting their time. Forthright also sold a vehicle that I test drove and expressed I was very interested in, if they could fix the wobble in the front end when the vehicle accelerated at 40-50mph. The vehicle was a 2010 Honda Odyssey with 87k miles and this issues seems to be quite common for this vehicle. The saleslady asked if we could wait while she took the vehicle for a test drive to see what I was talking about. She probably should have gone with us on the test drive but wasting our time is what they do best. The saleslady came back from her test drive and stated " if we get that fixed are in willing to purchase it" I stated if they issues is resolved, we could talk purchase price. I had to call them back to see if the vehicle repairs were complete and of course they stated "yes we just got it back from the shop" I asked what repair(s) were done. Salesperson had no clue but I took the vehicle for another test drive, post "repair". There was no change in the performance of the vehicle. It still had the same wobble. Once again, I returned and stated the wobble was still present. The sales person said we will get it back to the shop. I call two days later because Forthright did not have the decency or courtesy to call me and guess what they told me? "The vehicle has been sold" My question are: 1. Did they sell it to someone else, knowing it had a problem but the buyer did not notice it? NO! That would be terrible business practice. 2. Did they fix it and forget to call the person that had taken time out of their day 2x to test drive it, stated they would like to purchase it after the wobble was fixed? NO that would be terrible customer service. Well, I can only hope that the issue was fixed and someone is not stuck with a vehicle payment and repair bill. Other reviews state they don't call you back if you have issue after a purchase or stand behind what they sell. Please do not let them pressure you because that is probably the only time you will hear from them or if you write an honest review like so many others have. FORTHRIGHT AUTO. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!! MARK BECKER, the owner does not practice good business ethics, instead he makes things personal. I called him out on changing up the paperwork on the loan application. We had already done so much to get this vehicle we decided to just leave it as is.... I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT!!!! This was just the beginning of our ordeal and i still have no vehicle!! I barely got deposit back last week!! Mind you, I bought this vehicle beginning of April. I had to leave there for the windshield to be fixed, there was a Crack right in the driver side view. So, I did not even get vehicle the day I bought it. Four days later I went to FORTHRIGHT AUTO to pick up car. The windshield was not fixed.... what the heck?? I had a family ceremony back on my reservation, which he knew, and I just took the car the way it was. I had no choice. I come back from Arizona and the car starts acting weird, I took to shop. This was the second week of April. I didn't even have car a week!! First week of June I finally get car back and it didn't make it much further than my house. Kerplunk! The FORTHRIGHT AUTO REPAIR could not fix the car after 3 transmissions, supposedly. We were done waiting and being treated badly. June 6th MARK BECKER would not give back my 3000 dollar deposit, unless we signed his agreement. Which was more or less a "Gag order." Bill signed it in his chemo fog. Well, MARK BECKER did not keep the agreement that he, himself wrote. I have been having to demand my monies back. He has tried to bully me and give me ultimatums. For instance, he emailed me I have until 1:30 to erase bad review and send him an email stating i would not do it again. Or he would cancel the check!! So, he gave me a check he didn't intend to honor. I would like to add Bill Hollenbach, my Cosigner is fighting his third bout with cancer and MARK BECKER sent him switched up paperwork. Bill is the one who called me and said,"what is this?" They have given bill 6 months to live and he has had to deal with this situation. I am on heart failure medication and hypertension medication all this stress has affected both our health. I am still dealing with MARK BECKER to get my first payment back bcuz I didn't have car a week. 267.18 is what he still is me and at this point I believe compensation is due!! read more

I was in the middle of a sale working out the financing details on a truck, I was very interested in. Long story short, they sold the truck I wanted right from under me. I am super disappointed and they offered to help put me in another vehicle. I wanted the one, we were working on not something else. I will not be shopping with this dealership. Customer service seems to not be a priority. I even mentioned putting down earnest money until we worked out the details and was told that was not necessary. I was not given a chance when someone else came to look at the truck, I was not notified. I had to reach out to them cause I saw the truck had been sold! They are on top of things when they think they can rip you off!! They stop getting back to you when ask about the bogus warranties they try to sell...or the, should be criminal, laughable gap insurance the attempt to hock. They say they will soft pull your credit and without your permission pull a hard copy. Experian notified me immediately and I called them out on it. When I asked them to supply the information of the credit union they supplied my info to, for pre approval, they stopped responding all together....can you say illegal?? There are so many good dealers out there, it makes me extremely happy when the trash takes itself out!!! BTW, chris , Experian also told me you used Sandia Labs credit union and got my copy of the approval in spite of your lazy ass!! read more

I wouldn't even give this place not even ONE star! Who ever is rating this at five stars or even two must be being rewarded with gift cards or just be the people who actually work there cause I've had literally PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM with this company! First they make it seem like your vehicle is 100% and good to go.. they do they're best to only show the good things about the vehicle your trying to buy.. I didn't even get told there was paint problems until I visually got a walk around on FaceTime.. even then they did what they could to keep the 'eye sore' out of camera.. then It takes weeks to receive your vehicle, not to mention how they take your entire down payment weeks before hand and then it's your job to follow up daily to get the updates you want.. (they literally don't do they're job until your on the phone questioning everything) then when you finally get your vehicle be sure to check it thoroughly BECAUSE THEY DONT TELL YOU EVERYTHING!! All I got told about was It had a recall on the passenger side air bag which I agreed to take care of myself.. no biggy right.. WRONG!! Once I received my vehicle after waiting what seemed like beyond weeks there not only was a recall but the AC didn't work.. I had a check engine light on (I've had this vehicle three months and have delt with 5 check engine lights this far) the Actual Dashboard is caved in and all they did was simply cover it with a piece of fabric. Then when you address them about the problems you thought wouldnt be there, they act as if they never knew and basically admit to not throughoughly looking over the vehicle and basically tell you 'well when buying a used vehicle these things are expected'.. like uhm no.. your supposed to be upfront and honest before it's sitting in my driveway.. not only all of those issues but I have a sun roof as well they knew was 1:4 of the reason I wanted this specific vehicle and it's broken as well.. didn't even work when it got to my driveway and now it's been broken open and won't shut at all... again somthing they never told me about! Now it's three months in and I asked about returning my vehicle because who wants to deal with all of this. And they told me I would only recieve back half of my down payment even after making 2 $500 payments and dealing with all the repairs! so instead I kept the car instead of loosing out on more money because of it so they issued me a new warrenty to cover repairs so I wouldn't have to. So now I tried to get things fixed that are wrong with my car with my new warranty they provided but oops THEY DIDNT INSTATE MY WARRENTY A MONTH AGO WHEN I GOT IT.. they did it today as I'm sitting at the shop trying to get warranty to pay for the repairs.. so the warranty place calls me and asks a million questions about why it was Instated today.. but that part wasn't my job.. it was fortright autos job.. but like I stated before they don't do there job until your on the phone questioning everything! So today I had to come out of pocket $515 on top of what I already pay for my car to be able to have cold AC.. Ouh and did I mention in the process of buying this vehicle they had me lying to the bank for them so they would be able to get the load from the bank BEFORE I even got my vehicle on the truck to be delivered!! my car was stolen and waiting almost two weeks, i decided to start looking for a replacement. in the beginning, i just wanted a good used vehicle with average mileage, good condition, etc and under ..............$ 5,000.... well, there was'nt too many i could fine with average mileage nor in good shape. so i went up to $ 6,500 and the same thing, well i ended up going up to $ 8,000 and after looking at forthright auto i spotted a car i would was interested. so i called to see if it was available, talked mark the owner and said yes, we just got it couple of days before. the next day i went over to their dealership, mark was at a meeting but his salesperson, ryan, showed me the car, went on short cruise, etc. but the car was like $ 9,495 but ryan said that mark might be able to help with the price and he did the next day. so i put a good deposit to hold it a few more days to unfreeze my credit file for financing and have them get it ready for me and a couple of more days to see if my car would been found, nothing. so i bought the car. both ryan and mark were very helpful, polite, honest and enjoyed doing business with them...... i had no pressure what so ever. i highly recommends them to others plus they carry a very good selection mr. chavez read more
