Do not go here. I brought my Honda Accord 2010 model in for an appointment to rebuild the alternator. My appointment was at 10 AM, but they didn't finish until around 3 PM--I waited there for hours with no proper updates. When I came to pick up the car, it wouldn't start. They jumped it for me, and when I asked if that was normal, I was told everything was fine. I drove home, and shortly after, the car was completely dead. It wouldn't start at all--not even with a jump. I had to get it towed and later found out the battery was completely dead and needed replacement (which I had specifically asked them about before leaving). To make things worse, they seemed nervous about being reported and oddly pushed for cash payment, which felt very unprofessional. I ended up paying with debit. Overall, this was a terrible experience--poor communication, questionable practices, and a complete lack of accountability. The only positive is that the alternator itself appears to be working. My husband did not receive any information whatsoever besides the price, which was quoted at $235 over the phone and on here. Waited FIVE hours for this process and come to find out they rebuilt the alternator which is NOT what i wanted. I had called someone over the phone and they said they informed my husband about everything that: there was no new alternator available and that it would take four hours. By this time it was the fifth hour. My total was $295. And, on top of that they damaged my hood. If yall were gonna scam me yall could've at least done it fast and damageless. read more

I didn't feel like I was being ignored by anyone they were patient and I love how even the customers that were coming in patient that tells a lot about a place. Very Bad experience. Had my alternator rebuilt here at M&M alternator shop for my 2011 Honda truck because the alt bearing was making noise, got it back the same day and reinstall the rebuilt alt. Drove down the street and the alt. Light came on when I would come to the stop light. Took alternator 3 times yes 3 time I called them for a refund I was told no refunds all sales final. What a lost of money and time. 3/20/2026. Blanca per your response , you said I should have taken the truck in so your mechanic could check it , I was told over the phone to drive the truck there so it could be checked and your Mechanic said the rebuilt alt was bad and that was on the second time I was there, so he gave me a third alternator that was bad also the bearing was making noise and the alt light was on. Great price on batteries, I've been going here for past 3 years and the batteries last the amount of time they say. If you're in a pinch I would recommend going here also. BEWARE!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Against my better judgment after reading yelp reviews, I still decided to go by here. Vehicle was running perfectly fine but when I got my oil changed last week, they said the battery was running low. Drove there and bought new battery they installed it. When I get in my car and turn the key all of my warning lights start flashing . I turn my car off and walk inside to speak to the manager to let him know that I haven't even drove away yet, and all the lights are flashing, the first thing he says " the paperwork you signed states that we aren't responsible for anything" These guys are shady, and when you sign your receipt, somewhere in that small print is signing away the responsibility for them. DO NOT GO HERE. They can cause serious damage to your vehicle and assume no responsibility. I didn't even get out all of my words before that manager cut me off to let me know that they are not responsible for anything. I would never go to any business ever again that tells me that the work and services they provide hold zero liability if the break or cause damage. These guys are ROOKIES and that's why the manager makes sure you sign liabilities away, because they have NO FAITH IN THEIR TEAM. read more

I was fine with it because I had time to get it fix since I was out of town visiting. After they took my car to start working on it, we stayed there about 10-20 mins so I decided to call someone to come and pick us up since people were coming in and out of the shop. JUST KNOW !! that when my brother and I left we let them know were leaving and to just give us a call and they didn't mention what time they were going to call or if they're halfway done, nothing. All he did was say " OK " Always, 1 hour later we get a call saying my car was done . So we started to rush over there and then they told us they were about to close!!!!!! Then, they call again to telling us they are close !!! Once we got there my car was locked up and no one to be found!!! Who the hell does that !!!! We told them we were going and they didn't tell us what time they were closing or at least wait for us!!!( I don't mind paying a bit more to wait for us) .They have no sign that says their time ! Or any phone number !! it was hard to find on maps. I been calling them and nothing. We asked everyone around the place if they know the guy and they all said NO ! I live in LA and now I can't get home because they have my house, job, and car keys !!! I had to call off work because they have my car and i also had to sleep over night in someone house !!!!!! This place is a total rip off. I had them rebuild a starter on a piece of construction equipment.I is a 4 hour job to get it off and another 4 hours to put it back on. After getting it rebuilt it did exactly the same thing it was doing when I took it in there.It would work part of the time.I didn't have the time to take it off again until it stopped working altogether.I had to finish a job and did not have 2 days to have rebuild it again. So long story short I had to buy a brand new one. When I took it back to get my money back on the rebuild they told me NO refunds. They should stick to what they know. Alternators. Usually buy my used batteries here but lately they seem to pull fast ones on customers. I called before i drove to san bernardino and asked if they had a used battery for my car. The guy said Yes and so 30 minutes later i show up and the guy at the front desk ( tall mexican guy speaks good english ) told me that he had No more used batteries and was trying to sell me a New one for 55 bucks. As i stood there and told him that i just called earlier and they said they did, this fool said they all sold out and he only had 6 in stock for the day. I went back to M&M and informed them about the noice two of the mechanics went out to my car to listen to the noice and they said it wasn't the alternator. Couple weeks later my car broke down and I had to pay for towing, due to this malfunctioning alternator! I don't trust them, I went and got an alternator at O'Reilly auto parts which they give you life time warranty! Please please spend extra money and go elsewhere....where they offer you lifetime warranty! Always go here for my batteries so i figured why not try out their ac recharge and ac services. Took one of my cars to get freon service and the car's ac barely blows cold. Car did not have ac before so i just settled for what i got. Went in again 2 weeks ago because my other cars ac was blowing very little air on high settings, they diagnosed it and said it was my blower motor. Charged me $310 to "fix" it car ended up blowing the same amount of air. I decided to check the cabin air filter today and the filter was disgusting. Went to autozone and changed the filter myself for $18. Cannot believe these a**holes charged me over $300 for an $18 fix and didnt even fix the problem. Never going back again and advise you not to either. Should've learned my lesson the first time. read more
