I hit the jackpot a few years ago when a coworker recommended M&M. These guys are super knowledgeable and affordable. Since then I have had brake issues fixed, a pricey suspension issue resolved without breaking the bank and a whole host of minor car troubles fixed there. Took my girlfriends car in today around lunch time for an oil change and the AC stopped working. Oil change was $25 which is super reasonable. They also let me know the blower in the AC stopped working and also the Freon was gone which came out to a total of $370. They actually quoted the wrong part but honored the price for what they quoted. Had my girlfriends car ready that same afternoon. Thank you, Mike. The guys here are almost "out of a movie" helpful and nice. They look over your entire car, even before you ask them to. However, this place is no pressure. Also, their prices are insanely fair and they have no problem giving you advice on what is priority fixes and what can wait. My car recently died at my daughter's school when it was crazy cold out. Mike drove to me to make sure I was OK. We were able to get my car to his shop and he made everything better! Riddle me this: WHO LEAVES HIS PLACE OF BUSINESS TO DRIVE AND RESCUE A STRANDED CUSTOMER?! Mike does. He has great guys working for him who can run the shop while he runs out to the rescue. I have known Mike (one of the co-owners) for nearly 15 years. I have followed him from several different shops over the years, and even when he moved to a new shop, he always made a point of giving me a call to tell me where he could be found! To me, you won't find a more honest, ethical, and friendly mechanic anywhere! When my first car was choking and driving like it was about to die, I pulled in to the first shop I could get my car to at the time (I was 17 years old, young, dumb and fully gullible). Any mechanic could have said I needed a costly repair, and made some good money off of me, but Mike quickly determined that one of my spark plug cables had come loose, and simply plugged it back in. Car was back to normal, no charge, 2 minutes. I knew right then that I had found my mechanic. For years I have been waiting for Mike to be "the boss" because he deserves it! Finally he and is nephew (also Mike) have gone into business together and opened M&M Auto Clinic, and I am thrilled to have them available for my car service needs. They have a great convenient location in my neighborhood, and they are also accommodating to my busy schedule. As far as pricing goes, I've never paid more than needed for any repair, and many times they won't even charge for the little things! If you are not a "car person" and want a mechanic that will NOT take advantage of you, offer great service and fair pricing, look no further! Always took my Jeep to Firestone until I found this awesome neighborhood gem and now I wouldn't even consider anyone else. Had a flat tire at 9:30 on a Saturday morning, stopped by hoping they could fit me in and it was done in less than 30 minutes, amazingly inexpensive. I was having problems with my car and I called last minute and he actually tried waiting for me but my car did not make it so he drove to me where my vehicle was stranded and helped me push my car to a spot where we can leave it overnight and I left him the keys and the next afternoon my car was fixed and back to normal! I came to M&M Auto clinic for the first time. I was referred by a friend. When I spoke to Mike on the phone I described what we saw when we lifted the car and the sound my car was making. He explained that my heating plate came loose. He said to come in and he'll take care of it right away. I came in and zero wait time he took care of my car and it only took 2 seconds. I can't say enough good things about this shop. I met the Mikes last June when I hit a nasty pothole and needed a new tire (bless them, they dug out a dead rat from under my car too *shudder*). Since then I've brought the car in 3 or 4 times, and each time I've been treated incredibly well. The Mikes are honest and fair with both their work and their pricing. Case in point - Honda said I needed a new power steering pump & alternator for $1400; M&M did the exact same work and saved my alternator for $330. I totally recommend these guys. The dealer said I needed new tie rods and new links plus a sensor that would've cost me $1000. These guys told me that the tie rods were fine and only charged me $350 for new links and a sensor. They also did my brakes on my other car and saved me some money there too. I had never been to this place. My regular mechanic suggested them since he did not do brake line work. I had not been able to drive my car since May. Because of the pandemic I had no one to take me to the grocery store I was lost. I finally got my car to them, and they fixed my car with no problems. The shop was clean.they had everything in line with the guidelines for safety. I found Mike to be a very nice man. He listened to my concerns. Put me at ease. The price was incredible. I now will not take my car to anyone else. I don't do a lot of reviews, but when I do it's because somebody went above and beyond to be a decent human being that matters today. I trust this place. I brought my 2007 Dodge Caravan in since I had no HVAC blower. Not only did these guys find an obscure cause for this but got me the best price imaginable for the work to be done. They could have taken me for an extra 200.00 as well since I was completely prepared to pay for another part but gave me the straight scoop and did exactly what was necessary. I had a noise in my front of my 2008 Hyundai (only 58thou miles) so I took it to M & M. 1st off since they have moved into my neighborhood I only go to them now. We'll needless to say I had some BIG issues with my front end and as the cost got me espically being on SSDI but I feel the price was spot on considering what they did. Not happy with their service. I paid a lot of money to have my tires changed on an old car that I had just purchased. Tires are old and not in the best condition, which I already know, but they didn't diagnosed that the valve of the tire that was leaking was completely broken plus they "fixed" a nail that was stuck in that same tire, when I went to another tire place they literally laughed and asked if I did the "fixing" myself? Apparently it was done wrong. It was very disappointing because the guys are very nice and accommodating, just not happy with their overall work. Will not be back. read more

I have not been paid for this review. M&M Automotive Dealership on Higgins is the best auto maintenance facility I've ever taken my cars to. Why am I not jealously guarding this information for myself, if that is the case? Because I want them to stay in business, and if they continue to provide the excellent service and reasonably priced repairs that I received to all their customers, only the volume of their patronage will keep them in business. My trouble started in February of this year. I took my car into the neighborhood corporate dealership, presenting them with my relevant insurance, and asked them to correct an issue with my Saturn, specifically failed calipers. Several days later, I was informed the problem had been rectified, and after I was charged a steep $500 deductible, I expected to not be troubled by it again. As astute readers might guess, the issue returned in short order. I scheduled another appointment with the same dealership, and the same process began again. I endured the inconvenience, the $500 charge, the confirmation from the mechanic that the malfunction had finally been dealt with, and then the reappearance of the difficulty for a third time. At this point, I was understandably frustrated, and decided to find a different dealership. Then I found M&M. Despite the fact that I brought my vehicle into the shop in the late afternoon, Mike called me back no more than an hour later, informing me that he'd diagnosed the same problem that the other dealership had found, estimated the cost to fix it, and contacted my insurance provider to arrange payment. The repairs, finally, stuck. I prefer to focus on the one full job that M&M skillfully completed over the incompetence, ineptitude and greed that was a staple of the previous dealership. Most recently I took my car into M&M for four problems- two trivial, and two emerging. I left the car with them, believing it would take some time to repair. To my astonishment, Mike called me back within the hour, once again, to tell me he'd addressed all four difficulties. On top of this, I paid almost nothing. Where else could you find such honesty and competence? Thank you M&M. read more

I just wanted to write a review so people can find a great and honest shop. I had bought a 2013 Dodge Ram C/V in Cleveland (bad move I know). Once I got it home I realized I had a fluid leak. After a few days I realized it was something worth getting looked at. I brought it to M&M after bringing to another shop. They diagnosed it perfectly but the dealer wanted me to get a 3rd opinion hoping that they would honor their warranty. M&M buttoned my van back up and I told them I wanted them to do the work but it was kind of up to the dealer. After bringing it to the 3rd shop they came up with basically the same conclusion. Unfortunately they dug a little deeper and had my engine torn apart so I was stuck getting it fixed there. I felt bad about not letting M&M finish the work as they had charged me nothing for their time in diagnosing my vehicle. Mike and Mike never pressured me and were very honest and professional. I have had M&M do other work on other vehicles and was always happy with the work and price. So if you want an honest mechanic, go here and will not be disappointed. Power steering completely went out on me one day when I really needed my car. I was recommended to M and M by an employee from a local auto shop. Mike was courteous and matter-of-fact when examining and diagnosing my car. He gave me a flat fee and helped explore ways to get a cheaper estimate with me. I left my Jeep with him for a few hours and came back later that night with the reservoir, pump, and belt completely replaced. He did a very nice job and I will definitely go again. If you want a no nonsense mechanic who will do what it takes to give you a bottom line estimate and quickly fix your car, both Mikes are the mechanics for you. read more
