I called ahead of time at 6pm to let them know I was coming in for threading. I went through a hassle to get parking. I showed up and she had already closed down the shop. I was very upset considering I drove all the way here and I had just talked to her on the phone to let her know I was coming. I would give zero stars if that was possible. First I was excited there was threading at a reasonable price in walnut creek and second when there was a groupon for it. The appointment and service was fine until I saw my brows and noticed they were uneven! Not even issues such as an arch being higher than one or slightly thicker BUT one brow started completely higher than the other and ended higher also! This isn't really fixable unless I want wire thin brows with no arches now just to even it out. I pointed this out and she just said no I don't see that but I can take off more if you like! What makes this experience worse is that I've tried to let my brow grow out and get them reshaped elsewhere but everywhere I go they keep following that stupid uneven brow line that m&m gave me. So my brows are still uneven 8 months later. read more

Reena is amazing! Her threading is not painful at all because she pulls in the same direction as hair (other threaders usually pull in the opposite direction). Highly recommend her as the best threader in this area! Reena also takes into account what looks good on your face frame but also will stick with your suggestions. She works Sunday's and weekdays. :) read more

The lady didn't even let me finish telling her what I wanted before she began threading my brows. It was an awful experience and because I was the last customer of the evening she was rushing to leave. Save yourself the stress of having to regrow your brows! Also, the upper lip threading was a joke. I had to go home and tweeze to clean up what she missed. I will never go to this location again and I do not recommend this place. read more

My wife had her eyebrows threaded here (she's actually telling me this while I write!), and it was an average experience at best. The woman doing her eyebrows gave her 3 cuts on the skin of the corner of her eye, which is NOT what she paid for. The woman actually offered to put alcohol on it because "it helps" (???). What would have helped would have been to not get cut in the first place. This has never happened at any of the NYC places she frequents. Overall the eyebrows look nice and price was fine but the cuts on the side take it down several notches. read more

This place is kinda pricey. Also, I remember during one of my visits, the lady said "you better not have a Groupon." I might as well should have cause they're a rip off. My first time going there was great. My eyebrows were perfect. That's why I didn't care about the price. But after a few more times, there's always a new girl who does my eyebrows. One time, it was uneven and baby hairs were left on. Another time, she murdered my skin and was left with a lot of redness and a scab on my eyelid. The quality of work just kept going downhill. I think it's because they always hire new people. But I think I'll stick with the San Leandro location now. They're cheaper and does better work. read more

Tried threading today for the first time and I'm sold. I have thick eyebrow hair and most of the time when I wax they don't get everything, so I end up with little hairs beneath the skin surface. They cleaned up my eyebrows, clean lines as great arch! I've spent tons of money at benefit brow bar and I never really left super happy. This place is very affordable, $17 for eyebrow and lip and in Walnut Creek close to one of my fave restaurants- Lettuce. No frills place, but really nice younger staff and great job. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a couple years now and I recently moved to Walnut Creek from Santa Clara where there are an abundance of eyebrow threading salons/stations. I feel that M&M is the only decently priced threading salon in Walnut Creek. The girls who work there are super nice and they've always done a great job. When I first moved here I got my eyebrows waxed because my boss recommended someone and I did it because I was tired of having one eyebrow, and I came out with thinner and archless eyebrows. M&M has fixed that, after going to them twice my eyebrows are back to normal and I can wear my hair up w/o feeling self conscious. read more

Today I went into the Threading salon in Walnut Creek and Monsoon helped me. I told her about my eyebrows that they were both different and if she would help to fix them. She saw it right away and she went above and beyond her initial job. Which I really appreciated because it took a little more time than usual to really get my eyebrows to look even and look good!
