Driving 5 1/2 hours to our home, her car had been running poorly the entire time. I only found out later that she had been living with this running problem for several months and had taken the car to two different shops near her apartment for repair. Also, the engine gauge was running "near the red zone" as my daughter said. I called Palumbo's and Steve kindly explained that they were extremely busy and if I was not in a rush they would be happy to work the job in. Two days later I received a call from Kyle with the report that the (newer) spark plugs were of the incorrect type and an ignition coil was bad. The running hot problem, Kyle explained, was believed to be from a cooling system hose leak. I gave Kyle authorization to fix the car. He did say the car may have other issues but this is a good place to start. They had also found and repaired a tire that my daughter had been topping off for six months. Six months! Missy says her car is running great. My wife and I are expecting that her ride home next week will be trouble-free (for her), but bittersweet (for us). Thanks to the entire Palumbo team.

These people did nothing but lie repeatedly for no other reason other than the sake of lying. They cursed me out repeatedly, I was threatend to have my vehicle stolen from me, and I was robbed $1685 dollars. This is only half of the horror story. Took my Suburban to Pep Boys, spent $1000 on brake repairs, still had the original ABS problem…read more Took it back, another $500 and now it was worse. A brake line they fabricated blew and almost caused an accident when the pedal went to the floor so I had it towed back there. They wanted to charge for the tow until I reminded them it was warranty ahd a liability issue. They fixed the line and said it would be another $750 IF they could find the part. I told them to forget it, bought a rebuilt part on the internet and took it to Ronnie. He replaced the other wheel hub that Pep Boys said was fine after they replaced the speed sensor TWICE and put the module on that I ordered. Articles all over the internet, DON'T replace the wheel speed sensors, replace the whole hub if you want it to work! After Ronnie was done with it, no brake light, no ABS light, no sickening feeling when the ABS kicks on inappropriately on hard dry pavement and kills the brakes unexpectedly. Ronnie has my business for life!!!
