Came in to buy a whole front right suspension corner for a 2019 Audi s4. After waiting all day for it they later tell me they actually realize they didn't have the strut. HUGE inconvenience.. they discounted a bit, but nowhere near enough of the cost of a replacement strut. Once installed I realized they gave me the wrong side upper control arms... I went back to exchange them after another day lost. I'm here today and control arms don't match, I looked up the part number, they gave me control arms to a 2010.... Idk what they are trying to pull but so far it has been a huge waste of time working with them. I'm not even going to try and correct this problem anymore it's a wasted effort. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be from retail customers. Let me share my experience as an automotive repair facility. I call them inquiring about a part, they either have it or they refer me to someone else who might have it. Simple and easy. They sold me two right-side used doors for a Porsche Cayenne S which were delivered in a timely manner and in excellent condition. Following time they didn't have a reverse camera for Maserati Ghibli Q4S but they indeed referred me to another recycler who did. Current project is Land Rover LR4 and I will definitely be doing business with them again. The "technique" to buying from recyclers is to call politely, know exactly what you are looking for and be straight/direct/concise with them. A lot of retail customers expect 5-Star Hotel service & that is probably why they leave negative reviews. Anyways, M&S Auto Salvage are highly recommended by me. read more

Man fuck these mother fuckers. I called for a part, fuckin guy says he has it. I asked him to check it to make sure it's good before I drive 40 minutes there. Guy says he'll call me back after he checks it. Never calls me back, I call him and he says yea he has it and it's good condition. I drove all way the out there, guy takes an hour to remove it and the part is damaged. Not even fixable, not even usable. Fuckin waste of time. Full of shit, scam artist, fucking crooks. M&S Auto Salvage is a group of guys who try to keep things realistic. If you work with them on reasonable terms they can help you source some harder to find parts. M&S Auto Salvage will pull parts from the cars for you. They just ask you don't abuse this and have them pull parts all day without making a sale or at least paying them for the time invested in pulling the parts. A lot of auto salvage places will ask the customer to pull their own parts for this reason. If you ask about their policies they will explain the reasoning behind it and/or whatever precedent that lead to the decision. Although some policies are kind of odd, they are a legitimate business. Note: Yes my location says Wisconsin, I was in the California specifically searching for parts not available in the mid-west and these guys were one of my stops. read more

I found these guys on Yelp and I've gotta say, after reading the reviews, I was hesitant to give them business. They had a rare part that I needed and I decided to expect the worst and hope for the best. I drove 39 miles to what I was pretty certain would be a "hard lesson learned", but was actually very satisfied with the level of service that I was given. I asked Carlos about the poor reviews and his response actually taught me a valuable lesson. "Treat others how you want to be treated". Of course I knew this already which is why I took the chance in the first place. I was polite, he was polite, the price on the perfectly working part was less than half the price and my client was happy with the repair I made. I'm happy I gave these guys a shot.
