I loved this place! My husband and I came in, sat down at the counter, and enjoyed our delicious ice cream! He got a banana split sundae while I got a one-scooper of cookie dough. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. The service was excellent, and it was the perfect place to slow down for a bit and enjoy some ice cream. The only thing that could've made it cooler, was if they served old fashioned sodas. It was the perfect retro feel inside and the sodas would've elevated it to something untouchable!! It's also connected to a used bookstore, which is pretty much a dream spot for me. If we are ever in the area again, this will be a high priority on our list! read more

Service was terrible despite the place closing at 9 and me and some friends getting there at like 7:30 we were asked to leave as it would be too much to serve us 7 people then we walked by the place again probably 15 minutes later and it had two people sitting inside eating ice cream. read more

Visited the other night and WOW was I impressed! Quite a line but the staff handled it so well and with a smile on their face... props to them! Lots of varieties of ice cream and they make homemade waffle cones fresh so they're still warm when you get it! Portions are massive which was amazing! We got the Cookie Monster ice cream and a strawberry milkshake. They have a few stools at their counter and one other table inside and outside they have tables and are right across the street from a park as well! Wow - thank you Yelpers for steering us to M&M Scoops. This was the 6th and favorite stop on our New England ice cream tour. Super creamy and rich ice cream with creatively delicious flavors. We got the Cherry Moose Tracks and Peanut Butter Fudge, both were oozing with fudge sauce and dark chocolate pieces. What is this, a candy store disguised as an ice cream parlor? So good. Cake cone was fresh and crisp. Homemade waffle cone as good as advertised - glad I broke away from my cake cone fixation to try it. Very generous portions at a reasonable price. I'd give a zero star if I could, they have a young lady scooping the ice cream without gloves on. She had her fingers all over the ice cream, took around 7 mins to scoop one scoop of ice cream. I watched her the whole time, ended up walking out before she got done (AFTER I PAID) due to losing my appetite and patience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!! Terrible service! Overpriced!! GROSSSSS!! Paid almost $7 for 2 scoops on a tiny cone, NEVER coming back to this establishment. I even gave a tip while paying, I deeply regret that now. Stopped by today for the first time off I-93 coming back from a day of hiking, based on Yelp review. Easy to find and park. Very good. Service is very friendly. Social distancing well marked. Young staff made sure they heard the order right. Home made waffle cone is crispy and irregular (thus homemade). But they are large and you don't have to worry that ice cream will fall out. One scoop is very generous and plenty, unless you fancy two flavors. Coconut Almond is good. So is the odd coffee Oreo. Will visit again! read more

After taking a brief walk around Downtown Plymouth, I stopped in at M n M Scoops to cool off from the heat outside. Both were so delicious and a small cup goes a long way! They also had ice cream sandwiches and cakes in a cooler and offered milkshakes, smoothies, a candy counter, pretty much anything you can think of! When I was a young lad, running about the streets of Plymouth, I had always been fraught with disappointment over the availability of quality ice cream in town. Thankfully, Scoops arrived. Were I able to reach up to the heavens and take every star from the sky simply to use them for this review, I would do so. 5 will have to suffice for now. The selection is exquisite and all their best ice cream flavors can be found in a lovely little cooler packed between two oreo cookies. Simply delightful.
