I drove to the kaleva telephone company and the Lobby is closed . When I went to the drive up window to speak to someone and inquire about her phone line Jennifer was at the window. She immediately cut me off before I could tell her what the issue was and asked who my cell carrier was. She claimed it was a Verizon Wireless issue. She claimed Verizon phones were unable to make local calls. When I tried to explain to her that my son has an AT&T phone and he is unable to call the line she continued to cut me off roll her eyes and had an attitude so I left the window. I stopped at 2 local businesses who also have landlines and they were having the same issue. I stopped back at the office to explain this and she insisted that it's my cell carrier. When I told her that my son has a different cell carrier she explained it's also his cell carrier that can't make calls to landlines and suggested we start calling our cell providers. I told her that we could make calls to landlines that were not Kaleva telephone landlines she was still adamant that nothing was wrong on their end and she refused to help me . Today, I see on Facebook that there IS actually an issue with Kaleva Telephone and their long distance carrier. All of this would have been fine had I not had to deal with Jennifer in the office. She could have at least offered to look into it or put a ticket in. The fact that she wanted me to call Verizon and AT&T to fix the issue with THEIR telephone company is ridiculous and her attitude is terrible. She should adjust it or not work with the public.

By the end of that process, my internet service went down. So apparently the technicians successfully hooked up our neighbors, yet simultaneously wrecked our service. I called Spectrum about this and you'd think any good company would provide a quick turnaround for loss of service that was 100% THEIR FAULT, right? Nope. The first appointment available was 3 days later on Friday. What terrible customer service! Needless to say, I'm looking at alternatives now.

2 years ago I went into Verizon with two paid off Motorola MotoZ phones. My wife needed a new…read morephone and when in the store we found out there was a deal on their phones Buy One Get One. My wife wanted an IPhone so we went with the deal. Last month my son lost his phone and bought another and Verizon had us login to our account to set it up. At this time I noticed Verizon was charging me for one of the MotoZs which went to my youngest son. I've requested help and clarification from Verizon, but keep getting the run around. I'll have someone ask questions and say they'll get back with me then they don't. Now I get a message saying my issue is resolved. They didn't do anything. They haven't even addressed the issue. So Verizon ripped me off for about $750 by charging me twice for the same phone. I wish I could give them less than one star. I don't blame this particular store, I blame their whole company, stay away!

Last week we called technical support and was told there was no problem on there end and we need a new router. 4 days later they send out a notice that they have been experiencing major outage problems for over 4 days, yet the jerks at tech support we're not aware of it! If you call with a problem, they tell you they will expedite it, and then it takes 3-5 days before they call back! They don't care that people need the internet to do their jobs. The only reason they are still in business is because there are no other options! Their value is crap because we pay for crappy service that is ALWAYS going out!

When it rains, the wind blows, or there's some snow my connection normally goes out. Customer service, needs some serious help. I have explained my situation so many times and that I am paying way more than I should be for the service I am getting. Tech help is usually Matt (can you tell I've called a few times!) and he's normally helpful and does what he can. If you have other options I'd strongly suggest using them before CCC.
