Review for Jamba Juice…read more I love Jamba Juice and I really enjoy the products, but my recent experience left me disappointed. Right now, I'm on a health journey and trying to be more mindful of what I eat, my calories, and what I'm putting into my body. Because of that, I was looking for lighter or "skinny" options. When I asked for healthier or lower-calorie choices, the staff did not seem interested in helping me. I was simply told there were no skinny options available. Later, after doing my own research, I found out substitutions could actually be made to create a better option for my goals. When I asked specifically for those substitutions, they then said, "Oh yeah, we can do that." My frustration is that this helpful information should have been offered from the beginning. As a customer, I was looking for guidance and recommendations, and it felt like there was little effort to help me find something that worked for my needs. I understand prices are going up everywhere, but when customers are paying premium prices, good customer service matters even more. I still like Jamba Juice, but I hope staff can be more knowledgeable, helpful, and engaged when customers ask for healthier options or modifications.

The location is conveniently located in a plaza next to: H&R Block, Skateboard, Record, Whataburger, Safeway & few other restaurants & stores in the area. We were greeted right away, placing our 1 of our orders prior via Uber pickup & our 2nd order in person for their $5 frozen lemonade specials all summer long (a tip you can mix the flavors & add agave Neckar to make the lemonades sweeter. The owner Tonya explained her juice bar history stating is a plant based/vegan spot opened just a year ago. She explained all her ingredients, juices, smoothies, lemonades & more stating none of their items contain artificial sweeteners and or any other unhealthy ingredients in their items. We order 2 smoothies: classic which is good containing apple juice, strawberries & banana & strawberry colada w/ almond milk, coconut water, pineapple, strawberry & honey. The 2nd smoothie was not as sweet as the classic & not as thick due to almond milk & coconut water but would add agave nectar to make our smoothie sweeter. We also order 2 lemonade: strawberry & blueberry which were very tart & would like to mix the flavors & add agave nectar as well. Also have juices, shots & more available for purchase. A perfect place for healthy plant based & vegan friendly items to choose from. A tip: download their app to earn rewards when making purchases.

My family and I visited this restaurant on Friday, July 3, for breakfast just before 11:30 a.m. We…read moreonly waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad at all. This is a smaller restaurant with limited waiting space inside, so some guests had to wait in their cars and check back for their table. The waiting area near the host stand was a little warm, although it felt much cooler once we were seated thanks to the ceiling fans. I'm not sure if the air conditioning was working properly. We did have to wait a little while before our waitress came to our table, but once she greeted us, she answered our questions about the menu. The hostess also offered some great recommendations, which we appreciated. We ordered the Waffletto Sandwich, the Mexican Omelette (which comes with a salad), the Chicken & Waffles, and two flavored lemonades. The Waffletto Sandwich was good, but for the price, I would have liked a little more meat. My recommendation would actually be to order one of their regular breakfast plates, which includes a half Belgian waffle along with eggs, meat, and hash browns. It seems like a better value and gives you more food for your money. My daughter really enjoyed the Mexican omelette and said it was very flavorful. The Chicken & Waffles were also tasty, although I personally would have preferred fewer onion strings on top of the waffle. I also think chicken wings or tenders would pair better with the waffle than the chicken breast that was served. The biggest disappointment was the lemonade pricing. The menu clearly listed the flavored lemonades for $5, but when we received our bill, we were charged $7.50 each. We brought this to our waitress's attention, and she explained that the higher price was due to the flavoring, syrup, and free refills. However, none of that was explained on the menu, nor were we informed about it when ordering. If the menu advertises a drink for $5, customers should either be charged that price or the menu should clearly state any additional charges. Accurate pricing is important, and management should ensure that the menu reflects the correct prices to avoid confusion and disappointment. If the current price is $7.50, the menu should be updated accordingly. Otherwise, customers should be charged the advertised price. Another thing that wasn't communicated was that the flavored lemonades include free refills. We only learned this after questioning our bill. Once we found out, we were able to get refills in to-go cups before leaving, which was a nice bonus. So, if you order one of their lemonades, be sure to ask for a refill or a to-go cup before you leave. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and there were a few dishes we liked. With better communication about menu pricing and drink refills, along with ensuring menu prices are accurate, the overall dining experience would have been much better.

It's fitting though, because during our most recent visit we tried their food offerings for the first time. Usually we go for their coffees - we're especially fans of their monthly rotating themed drinks. The themes usually tie into the current holiday, season, or weather. It's a fun concept that we haven't found at other local coffee shops. Ever since they started serving food, we've been wanting to try it, just haven't found the time. Well we finally found the time, and it was so worth it! Three of us shared the Birds & Bees sandwich and the Turkey Avo panini. Both came served with a pile of skinny fries. Excellent! My boyfriend is a ranch snob and had very high praise for their homemade ranch. The service is always quick and friendly. Honestly never had a bad experience at Enroute. Happy to have them as our local coffee shop. We'll be continued customers for a long time to come!
