Back at it. Our Friday morning tradition. Breakfast at Starbucks inside the super target. My kids don't have school Fridays so we're able to do this all summer and during the school year. Even though we are here every week, it seems there is always someone new at the bar. Seems like they always miss one of my items. Last time they didn't get my drink. This time my sons treat, even though I specifically repeated myself because the barista was talking to her co worker about something while taking my order. Literally repeated myself and she confirmed. When I went back to tell them we didn't receive it she said she didn't charge me for it. I told her, then why did you answer when I confirmed my order, she said she thought I meant the drink. "Pokémon " and "brownie" SOUND NOTHING ALIKE. BUT THATS HER EXCUSE. So I said fine, print out my previous receipt, the young barista with eyes like deer in head lights says, umm....we We we can't do that. I said oh for goodness sake. ( in my head, I don't make a scene) ( not in front of my kids anyway) Fine. Just charge me again. Geeeeez. She didn't apologize. She did say have a nice day when she handed me the brownie but I don't have time to waste. My kids are waiting on me. AND NOW I HAVE TO CUT IN LINE, to get my brownie, because they did have a line waiting when I told them what they missed. Again, totally their fault. I confirmed my order. I always do. Little miss thing with the head in the clouds might not be ready for the front cashier yet. But we'll see next week.... maybe. Have a nice day.

This Starbucks is located inside of Super Target. I usually stop in to grab a tea prior to shopping in this plaza. The drinks are always prepared well and they have good customer service. The baristas will make whatever you ask for (i.e.- pink drink) if they have the ingredients and you tell them what you want. I have no complaints about this location.

Poor customer service. After getting the drink ingredients wrong, the drink is remade after two more customers' drinks are made & served.

HIDDEN GEM While on…read moremy merry way to pick up something from the print shop next door, I noticed a walk-in coffee shop. Without having huge expectations, I ordered a coffee. It was great. I went back the second time and that's where the excitement began. Instead of going in to order quickly, I took a gander around and noticed there's a whole clean, spacious, aesthetic seating area! This coffee shop is a beautiful hidden gem and I am so grateful it's in Goodyear! The coffee? 1000% better than your favorite Starbucks or Dutch Bros drink (trust me, their coffee/tea literally sparkles if your request it; and I'm not being figurative here). I didn't know I wanted my coffee to be beautiful until I came here. The choices of drinks they offer are endless--nitro, cold foam, SO many types of flavors and delicious sweeteners. Don't enjoy your coffee sweet? Cool, they'll make it "half sweet," or none at all. Go ahead and customize your drink; they're experts. The atmosphere? Spacious and calm enough to bring your work from home materials to a table in the lobby / have a friendly conversation at one of the comfortable seating arrangements. The employees? Everyone from the back of the house staff (cooks, coffee gurus, etc.) to the customer service at the front desk are obviously happy to work there; they're friendly and great at their jobs. Lastly--not that this is even required at a coffee/tea shop--but, the food is delicious. Every detail of what Enroute offers is intentional and has been carefully curated. The turkey avocado sandwich with fries is my new favorite Friday lunch treat. You can order honey mustard, ranch, or red pepper aioli dip, which is all made from scratch. You won't get frozen foods or Hidden Valley Ranch packets at this coffee/tea shop location. Only the very best. If you can't tell, I highly recommend! Thank you for the attention to detail, Enroute team. We can tell you're putting your heart into it.

You know the saying, "Make the cold brew and they will come." Ok ok maybe they don't say that, but they should. Located inside Enclave Salon Suites which is a co-op of hairstylists, estheticians and such allowing them to own their own business without the hassle. The location is bright and beautiful inside. Mad Mocha is just a few steps inside and while small it does offer a bar tip with stools to sit and hang out and enjoy your coffee. If you're there to get you're nails or hair done you can take you're coffee to enjoy while you pamper yourself. I was lucky enough to talk to the owner today and she was so great. I learned they started out as a coffee truck and have been open for about four seasons. They have been in the Enclave Salon space for about six months now. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering where they get their coffee beans from; They partner with Press Coffee, another great coffee. Today I tried the Highland Hank CB, Cinnamon Swirl CB and the SF Vanilla CB. I also picked up their version of a Caramel cookie for a friend. The cold brew was so smooth, no acidity which is a score for me. They don't over do the flavoring and the real coffee taste shines through. I don't know how many sugar free options they offer as I didn't think to ask, but I do know vanilla is of course one. Service was phenomenal and I felt like I was just sitting talking to a friend. They had consistent business while I sat at the counter. Great stop. Come by and support this great local spot.

I ordered an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder as well as an eggs, herbs, and cheese bollo. I learned that a bollo is a hand-stuffed soft brioche dough filled with eggs, local meats, and seasonal ingredients. It was served warm and was delicious! My latte was also wonderful. Highly recommend checking out this great, locally-owned coffeehouse!
