The service at Épale is so amazing! They are very sweet ladies who throughly explain the menu and their rewards program! The shakes and juices are really good, and their waffles smell, look and taste AWESOME! Thank you Epale!

I had the chocolate mint protein shake. Honestly, they taste so good you'd never guess they're protein shakes. I'll def be back! 10/10

I recently tried this spot and absolutely loved it! I had the chocolate mint protein shake, and my friend ordered the chocolate banana--both were amazing. Honestly, they taste so good you'd never guess they're protein shakes. We also shared some protein donuts, which were just as delicious. On top of that, the energy in the place is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, such a great experience--definitely a 10/10. I'll be coming back for sure!

Such a cute little spot! The protein shakes were honestly some of the best I've had--super smooth and flavorful without tasting overly heavy. I will be stopping here after the gym to grab more! What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely cared, which made it feel really welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of love into this place. I got the mocha protein shake and my boyfriend got the strawberry and they were both awesome. Definitely rooting for them to do well--I'll for sure be back!

Jasmine was so kind, she explained the menu to me and my friend so thoroughly! The shakes were great but the protein waffles?? AMAZING! 400 cal, 40g of protein. WOW. This is the SPOT for a protein snack. 10/10.

So excited to try this waffle!

I love that I can get my sweet tooth taken care of without the extra calories and sugar!! Amazing service ! Excited that it can get delivered to my office! Thank you!

Visiting Phoenix, and we stopped by this spot both days we were here. Defiantly some great tasty teas, and the protein shakes are . The owners are so nice and welcoming and give great suggestions. This is Herbalife, but aside from that it's a great alternative for a healthy meal replacement! Highly recommend. Great hospitality. Epale!

The hostess made a pastry recommendation and my server had the same recommendation so I tried the pain suisse. 10/10! It was a beautifully flaky pastry with sweetness from the guava. So delicious. I also had the seasonal quiche which was flavorful. It came with a small salad, and I will even commend them on the crispness of the lettuce. 10/10. The coffee selection is unique. I tried the cajeta latte, which was described as their take on a salted caramel latte. So good! My only critique would be the cup in comes in. While very stylish, it didn't have a handle so I had to use my napkin to pick up my cup at first. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Phoenix and the valley has good restaurants and that's about it. And don't get me started on the chain restaurant mentality here. And then there is Valentine. I was excited to have dinner there last night with friends, although I thought the hype of this restaurant was more instagram famous than it was good. I was mistaken. Greatly mistaken. My friends and I arrived for dinner last night and we were greeted with a wonderful staff and a really cool vibe on the inside. Very casual but not lacking in anything. The service was really great. I love when a server welcomes you to the table and can take the cues when people are having a conversation as opposed to constantly asking," Have you made up your mind?" Our server was fantastic and very accommodating. Sadly I do not remember her name. Now let's talk about the food. We started with three delicious cocktails, the salmon dip and the pretzel. Both were deliciously flavorful. The butter and honey with the pretzel really elevated the pretzel. Great accompaniment. For our mains, we shared the yucca and potato pave, the elote pasta, the ribs, and the trout. All was fantastic, but the real star was the trout. Perfectly cooked, and accompanied by the most impressive rice pilaf. It could stand on the menu by itself. The most important thing for me to point out is that all of these dishes were perfectly seasoned. It is my opinion, and since I'm writing this review, it is the only opinion that counts, almost every single restaurant I've been to in my 11 years of living here do not layer the seasoning, especially salt. They are either so bland the dish has little to no taste, or they pile all seasoning on the top and hope for the best. Valentine stands above the rest. Thank you, Valentine, for what I'm sure was the first of many meals for me at your table.

Whether you're looking for a classic American breakfast or something with a bit of cultural influence, the flavors are always great, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. Their coffee is also one of our favorites. No matter where we go, we always end up comparing it to the coffee here , it's just that good. Today we ordered the Cowboy Skillet, which had great flavor with the gravy and the mix of peppers and potatoes. Everything paired really well together and made for a hearty breakfast. The waffle was well made with a nice butter crisp on the outside. We also tried the Shaved Ribeye Benedict with mushrooms. I really enjoyed the flavor coming from the mushrooms and onions cooked into it. The shaved ribeye was a little on the dry side, but overall the flavors still worked well together and the dish was nicely plated. Energy here is always phenomenal as people are always so kind and making sure to be constantly checking on us and making sure we have everything we need always! Ambiance is great and always nice and warm feeling. This is a place we always recommend to people, and we'll definitely continue coming back.

1/2 Kiss the Cook…read morehas a true hole-in-the-wall diner vibe with a loyal local following. The staff was very friendly, and it was fun to watch regular customers being greeted by name and sometimes having their usual orders started before they even sat down. The restaurant stayed busy during our visit, which speaks to the community support they receive. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and my wife had the Cajun Benedict. The food was decent, but it wasn't memorable enough for us to specifically come back for the menu alone. That said, the overall experience and atmosphere made the visit worthwhile. The parking situation and location are a bit challenging, but they clearly haven't stopped people from finding this place. If you visit, bring cash and save room for one of their homemade pies. While the food didn't quite wow us, the friendly service and classic neighborhood diner atmosphere make it a unique local experience worth trying.

We waited to be seated while our table was being bussed, and the butter pecan coffee aroma was so inviting ! I loved that they had yummy dog biscuits for sale at the entrance, with a photo of a pup named "Chewy" digging in. We ordered breakfast while enjoying our coffees and chatting at the table. I had the Country Breakfast with sunny side eggs, apple smoked bacon, biscuits in gravy. One had only a slice of pie as he already had his breakfast and it was gone before I got a photo...oops. Lastly there was a Cook's Breakfast with pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a beautiful basket of mini muffins that are so good... The lady serving our table was great, smiling, and paid attention to coffee mugs. The one thing that could have been a bit better was the pancakes: a little bit underdone in the middle, tasting of raw flour, but were fluffy and good otherwise. I don't come over this side of town often, but next time ... we'll be back :) PS They have frozen "take and bake" pies and fresh ones too, so make sure you order 24hrs in advance if you want a whole one. There is a daily pie on the menu: today was Turtle pie with extra crunchies.

We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

Even after joining the waitlist, you still have to check in with the hostess upon arrival, and there may still be an additional wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20-minute wait for a table, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar, but honestly, we wish we had waited for a table because the bar area felt a bit tight. The bartenders were very nice, but at times it seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed, as we had to wave them down a few times for assistance. One highlight was the live DJ--the music selection was great and really added to the overall atmosphere. For food, we ordered the Basic AF and the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food temperature was disappointing. The waffles were cold, and most of the Basic AF dish was cold as well, except for the eggs. The only item that was warm on my plate was the chicken. This is definitely something that should be improved--breakfast dishes should be served hot and fresh. For drinks, we ordered a Bloody Mary and wanted to add a mini Miller High Life, but they were out of stock, which was disappointing. Instead, we opted for a Corona, which felt overpriced at $7 for a single bottle--especially when it's being used as an add-on. A lower price point would feel more reasonable in that situation. On a positive note, I also ordered the Boozy Bag drink with a watermelon slice, and it was absolutely delicious--definitely a highlight of the visit. The restaurant does offer a good amount of outdoor seating with shade coverings, which is great for avoiding the sun. Inside, especially near the bar, you can hear the music much better, but it's still audible outside depending on where you sit. Our total bill for two came to about $70, so it's something to plan for in terms of pricing. One additional suggestion: we did notice bartenders and staff handling drink garnishes--such as fruit and decorative items like cotton candy--with their bare hands. For hygiene and cleanliness purposes, it would be highly recommended for staff to use gloves or some type of protective covering when preparing drinks, especially since these items go directly into customer beverages. Overall, we enjoy the vibe and energy here, but consistency with food temperature and attentiveness during busy times would really improve the experience. Also, it looks like they offer a rewards program that requires linking a credit card--we're not fully sure how it works, but it might be worth asking about for future visits.
