I was searching for a Mediterrean restaurant on Yelp to order some party trays and I came across Maan's reviews. Based on their good reviews, I decided to order some party trays of Chicken Shawarma and Maan's Salad and it was delicious, and this is the first time I tried their food. The Shawarma have lots of flavors and the salad is fresh. My friends loved it too and asked me where did I get these food. I take leaving a review very seriously as I know how these reviews can help or hurt a business. This is the first time I will leave a negative review. This was our second and last time we will go to Mann's. None of the tables outside were bussed. We had to clear dirty dishes off a table to sit down. The man behind the counter was more interested in watching TV than assisting patrons. He was rude when we mentioned to him that only water, not green tea, was coming out of the machine. His response was to point to the beverage cooler and say, "Take a green tea out of there" and then went back to his TV viewing. We ordered dolma for an appetizer. It was slimy and tasted horrible. After each of us took one bite each, we sent it back, The waiter took it without a word of apology, offering us something else or offering to take the price off our bill. The Shawarma chicken salad is amazing. Best chicken salad I have ever had, and I used to live in LA, land of authentic amazing food. The portion compared to the price is a generously positive ratio. Everything is good there, including the baklava. As to those who mention the vibe being weird. Get over it. This isn't TGIFridays. I love to eat the Tekah chicken here. The hummus is so-so, but overall Maan's is pretty good for a quick Mediterranean fix. My biggest complaint is the horrible customer service, as well as the general attitude of the staff. I'm a Southern woman, so if someone bumps into me I say sorry. I'm rarely rude to customer service. The only time I am rude is if I'm treated poorly and that's how I feel every time at Maan's. I enjoy the food, but they can be so rude and curt with you. I ordered Maan's special, a chicken shawarma wrap which came with hummus, fries and salad. Not sure how this wrap is popular but it was greasy and distasteful. I picked out the chicken shawarma and couldn't stomach the rest. The service was not good either. Hummus not up to standard. Absolutely delicious! Maan's is always great -- the food is fresh and tasty and the orders are always correct. I order about twice a week from Maan's -- the Jumbo Gyro Wrap, Steak Shwarma, Chicken Shwarma, Salads -- I've tried nearly everything on the menu. The servings are generously portioned and all the food items are fresh, from the meat to the pita bread to the salad and the hummus. Small venue hiding in Oceanside by the IHOP , I'm sorry IHOB. So silly. Smh. Anyways. This Mediterranean place is bomb! Everything is good and legit. I usually get the chicken salad with extra yogurt sauce. It's a meal for two. Good portions and very fresh salad and burst of flavors. Sometimes, I like wine with my meal. I couldn't have a glass last time because I had work later, somebody had to drive. The yogurt sauce is the best I've had. The best part is dipping my pita bread in it as I'm eating my salad. I have yet to have there desert, looks so nutty, honey and flaky goodness. I'm usually too full to think about desert. Next time all I have is desert! read more

I absolutely love coming to this Lebanese restaurant in Oceanside. The baba ganoje is always delicious and never disappointing. If you enjoy eating eggplant make sure to order baba ganoje, it's a great appetizer to share with family and friends, or just eat yourself. Additionally, the tekah chicken plate is scrumptious. I'm salivating as I wait for my order now. The chicken is moist and never dry. If you love healthy salads and want zesty favors in your mouth, make sure to order the tabouli salad. read more

Oh my, yum. Genuine mediteranean food,made to order I got the tika masala plate, and it was authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is open, deli style with plenty of seating. I had the baklava for dessert. Delicious honey and walnut flavors crisp and tasty. I will defiantly return. read more

We had been here a couple of times before, both bad, but this time was horrible. First, the menu was on a small board up high with bad lighting, extremely hard to read. When I asked questions, the guy was very rude. So we ordered and went outside, to wait at our table. After 40 minutes, my girl friend went inside to see what was going on, a rude man on the phone was very short, said it would be out soon. Over an hour since we ordered went by and they brought out our food, none of it was what we ordered, not even close. So I told the rude man, still on the phone, to give us our money back. He tried to hand me $30 in cash and I asked him how much did we pay since did not have a receipt? He said he would give me my money back. Unfortunately, surprise, he lied again!!! No money back. This place is horrible! Drove 30 minutes looking for some good Mediterranean food. I found out once I got there that the cashier was extremely rude. She threw my credit card at me while rolling her eyes. Then she managed to call the two people behind me in line up before myself. This is all before I've even got my food. They take forever and a day to make food so don't go if you don't have over an hour to spend waiting on food. The employee wasn't very friendly and was on the phone most of the time so I felt awkward to ask for anything else once my food arrived. Friendly cashier, fast food delivery with a good presentation but after that I can't recommend this place. I thought I had a side of soup but it's their hummus, taste was also like none I'd had before. I had shrimp which was small and overly spiced, the side of pita had been obviously mixed waved so was chewy(Most places throw it on the grill before adding to your plate.) My husband had the chicken schwarma and said it tasted off, also, we both had rice sides topped with a red mystery seasoning, would have been better without it (Rice was cooked fine just ruined by the seasoning) I'll be honest, we each ate 3-4 bites then threw our food in the trash and ended up going somewhere else.
