My husband and I went in for a late breakfast. We got exactly what I was looking for, down home casual, clean environment, nice waitress and good food at great prices. Will definitely revisit.

My husband and I were in Gallatin Saturday looking into natural burial and decided to grab a bite around 12:30pm so I looked this place up and we gave it a shot. LEt me tell you it's the best $4.99 you'll ever spend! That includes two nice size pancakes two eggs and probably five crispy strips of bacon on my plate. Everything came to order, came hot, came quickly and the coffee was fresh. The only reason I give this four stars is that the atmosphere might not be up to everyone's taste but if you're Gallatin and your hankering for breakfast this is the place to go. BEST $20 breakfast you will ever get for $4.99!!

Great service, delicious food, and unbeatable prices! Side note, they only take cash or check

Come on $6.99 y'all chicken fried steak and eggs

Still my favorite little country spot just outside of Nashville. People are friendly, food is delicious and the prices really help on a budget. Definitely feels like a homegrown experience when I eat here!

Great little place in Gallatin for a good meal with great prices. Our waitress was friendly and very sweet- she was hustling and must have had 6 other tables, yet she was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They do a good carryout business too. I brought home a dinner for my husband who was working late and he enjoyed it.

Sunday morning, I am across the room from my table talking to a friend and my waitress sees me. She asks, "You want your usual?" She brings coffee and cups to my usual table and I say goodbye to my friend. How can your service get better than that? She is always smiling...always! Lately, I have been getting the veggie omelet with cheese. I can't resist it. The waitress remembers to mark it without onions. I use to get an egg over easy with hash browns and toast. The egg was always perfect. This place is for YOU! But then, I stopped in one weekday morning and found nearly the whole town there. Love this place!

Clearly a long established diner/meat-n-3 in Gallatin. I came here for breakfast. Seating is plentiful and eclectic. As soon as you settle in a waitress is there with the menu and gets your drink order. Upon her return we ordered basic breakfasts with eggs/meat/toast. All southern comfort food. We waited a little long for our food however the servers hustle and focus their attention on you when at your table. Breakfast is a busy time for Mables. My eggs were perfect but the country potatoes had been sitting too long (dry and hard). Apples were cooked til soft. almost no sugar or cinnamon added. I asked for my toast to be unbuttered and it wasn't. However, there were some service errors. The coffee cup was empty several times before a refill was offered and my request for honey was forgotten. I will probably come back but also recommend old Glory down the street. CASH ONLY

While sounding heavy, was met with a light with a fresh pico de gallo and a well crafted crispy but fluffy hash brown. We've driven…read moreby Snow White Drive In many many times while exploring our new home area and this place is always busy! We decided to stop by around 5pm before they became too busy, which was a great idea. We sat ourselves inside and were greeted nicely by our waitress. Since this was our first time here, we went with a classic cheeseburger, mine with tots, husband with onion rings, I had a Coke Zero, and he had a butterfinger milkshake. We also ordered a side of okra and a mini bbq sandwich. I was amazed that a mini bbq sandwich was only $1.50! You can't find prices like that anywhere in restaurants these days! All "veggie sides" are $2.50 so I'll keep that in mind next time we visit since those prices aren't listed on the menu. The interior is run down and does need a good cleaning, especially the floors. It's a fun car-hop theme but needs a freshen-up for sure. The food came out SO quickly, less than 10 minutes. What I loved the most about the cheeseburger was that the onions, lettuce, pickles, and tomato were all fresh and crunchy, how it should be! My husband, who usually gives me his tomatoes because he doesn't like them, actually ate his! The okra was fine, not much spice to them and the bbq sandwich was dry and needed A1 sauce (provided on the table) which ended up being really good with it. The onion rings were perfect! The onion didn't come out of the breading like so many onion rings unfortunately do. The other nice thing we noticed is that the tipping portion was your choice of either $3, $6, or $9...none of that 15%, 20%, 25%, etc that we see so often. This made it a lot easier and less stressful. Overall, this is going to be our new "fast food" location now that I've sworn off of fast food chains, especially because you can order from your car at one of the stalls! Snow White Drive In also opens for breakfast at 5am, so we will definitely be there for that someday!

Snow White has been on my bucket list for a very long time, over a decade! It's a classic diner…read moreopened in 1952. In fact, on Highway 70 running from Arizona to the Atlantic Ocean, this is the fourth oldest restaurant in continuous operation! I did weeks of research to figure that out. So Snow White is a really big deal! And I've always wanted to go! Well, I finally went. A whole team of employees working the front counter welcomed me inside. I wanted to sit outside but tried to order at the counter first. I was given a menu, directed to the tables outside, and told that someone would be right out to take my order. And I waited. And I waited. I wish they had let me put in an order inside! The smokers gave me a heavy dose of secondhand smoke. I read the entire menu from front to back. And I waited some more. People came and went. Patrons got their food. I was apparently invisible. And I had driven a LONG way from home, over an hour to get here, and over a decade of planning to visit someday. It was all for naught. Eventually, I left. It shouldn't take 20 minutes just to have someone acknowledge a customer, especially with a full staff - seriously no fewer than eight people working the counter inside - and a half-filled restaurant that wasn't exactly overwhelming the staff. It wasn't anywhere near the busy dinner house, off-peak for sure! One employee was handling a couple of cars waiting for food and that one table of smokers. They couldn't have one girl working the outside and eight working a half-filled dining room could they? I've said this before in my online reviews. I hate giving a one-star review when I haven't tasted the food. The rating should reflect the quality of the cuisine first and foremost. So this is only a temporary rating. If I ever make the one-hour trek to Lebanon again and risk going to Snow White in hopes of not being invisible, I'll update my review to properly reflect the food.
