For a quick and fulfilling plate of fried rice to help combat my craving, this did its job! Located right off of Plano Pkwy and Beltline, it's tucked in a shopping center that's not hard to find at all. I placed my order on the Uber eats app and opted for pickup since it saved me $8. The food was ready in less than 15 mins and was fresh. When I arrived there were no other patrons there but the way it was set up looked to be more convenient for takeout anyway. There was one corner with what appeared to be DJ equipment but I can't confirm. I thought it was cutely decorated with sports Jerseys. Food: for a mom and pops type kitchen, the rice definitely served its purpose. They skimped me a little on the meat (combo fried rice) so I would say that could be improved a little. The flavors were nice and again the rice was fresh. I ordered a veggie spring roll which was very garlicky (if that's a word). My first bite was great but after a while the garlic just overpowered my taste buds so I didn't finish it. Overall..:for a quick meal I'd definitely give it 4 stars. I will even go back and try the Lo Mein.

I've been looking for good Chinese food since I've moved here in 2016 & I've finally found it. The Ambiance is cool. The service was great. The menu doesnt list prices which can be tricky. we ordered a small wonton soup, a small egg drop soup, shrimp fried rice and a orange chicken which came with fried rice. Taste of everything was on point. Total was $40 Bucks. Will come back again!

    Flat noodles (not lunch special)

This place has character. Rather small and very informal yet its decorations are its own. They have a variety of choices and a lot of them have "lunch specials". I order the flat noodles, which was sadly not one of them. It tasted good. The one big complaint as others have pointed out is that they lack price list. My bill ended up more than what I planned on spending that day.

I ordered takeout . The wait for the food was minimal. This place seems to be a small family owned establishment, so the lounging area is also a mini office space. The service was okay- no complaints. I placed my order and was give a ETA - which was spot on. Food- I order the fried dumplings and curry combo rice. The dumplings were okay nothing special - just fried dumplings. The rice was cooked to perfection, as it wasn't sticky and mushy. The curry flavor was definitely present, this dish would have earn the restaurant a 5 if the veggies and meat was a tan bite savory to pair with the curry. Maybe bigger shrimps, and chicken pieces??? I will give them another try, but will probably tweak the rice order a little to build on the flavor profiles. Overall a good experience!

Hole in the wall, but OMG is this place good! I got the Cantonese Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! This place has earned my business for the foreseeable future, whenever I want some great Chinese food!

Amazing! Great food, great prices, fast and friendly service. I got the beef chop suey with steamed rice, my boyfriend got the general tso's chicken with fried rice, and we shared wontons. Everything was delicious and the portions were pretty big. The restaurant felt so at home even though I had never been there before. Will definitely come back!

Best Chinese food I've had in my entire life. Definitely on par with that of the super expensive places. Wide variety of meals and pretty cheap. So good!

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. A solid spot with great vibes, tasty dishes, and room to grow on us even more with a return visit.

If you live in the area, it's a quality spot to get your soup dumpling fix. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, the first thing I noticed was Chef Sun's was very busy (great sign). The restaurant itself wasn't very memorable, and the table we sat at was next to a drink fridge and lots of traffic. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff at Chef Sun's was great, especially for a busy Chinese restaurant. The staff proactively kept our glasses full of water and were always on hand to help. Once we placed our order, food just kept coming from the staff as each dish was brought out piping hot and fresh. 1 Star. Food - The Xa Long Bao (soup dumplings) were nice and plump, freshly cooked and super-hot. This was the best part of the meal. The traditional Chinese dishes like their noodles were all a bit oily for my taste. Thee two appetizers - fried shrimp (very safe choice) were crispy without being greasy and the red dipping sauce was more sweet than spicy. And the spicy edamame was good. Overall plenty of good, but nothing super memorable. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Only if I'm in the area and I want soup dumplings. Chef Sun's Noodle & Dumpling has some oily noodles and great dumplings. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here, but now that I know they exist, I'll stop by next time I want soup dumplings. 1/2 Star.

We were seated ( party of four)next to a larger table in the corner of the restaurant. When we ordered, they only took our appetizer order and we had to wait a long period of time before they would take our entree order. During this time, a large table next to us filled up with 6 people who were making so much noise that our table could not even hear each other's conversation. The larger table occupants were loud, rude , and obnoxious. We asked our waitress to do something and the wait staff ignored our request to intervene on our behalf for calmer demeanor from them. Finally , someone from my table had to address this personally and confronted the loud group and asked if they could tone down their enthusiasm so we, and other patrons, could enjoy our evening at the restaurant. They only cut the noise for a few minutes and started again with the loud voices and over boisterous laughter . We were greatly disappointed with the staff and the overall establishment. We normally have a nice dinner with the attentive wait staff and enjoy our menu choices. Because our concerns were not addressed, we don't feel respected and wonder if we will dine again here.
