I initially wrote a negative review regarding them because I thought they had lost and/or purposefully replaced the OEM Mercedes Benz tire valve stem caps with cheap plastic ones, which to me would be unacceptable. However, Gus did clarify the issue and even went above and beyond by offering to send replacement OEM caps. With that said, we have had two cars serviced here before - a 2012 E350 and 2012 C250. I can't say enough of MAC Members (Gus and Technicians). I am a recent member and new owner of a 2007 Porsche 4S. Went in for a service and minor maintenance. Was met with courtesy and efficiency from Gus and his staff. A problem occurred with my temperature gauge after going home. I e-mailed Gus late in the evening and in the morning I found a text from Gus to call. Gus had a technician drive to my home in Scotts Valley from Fremont to fix the problem which was a minor computer scan to clear the warning light on my temperature gauge and go through the system to ensure that there were no issues relevant. These guys are the best. It's like having AAA insurance for your repairs! I bought a BMW M3, signed up with Mac Members, and immediately took the car to Gus to have him look the car over. Within the day he promptly called me back with a complete breakdown of what my car was in need of. He asked me to come in so he can go over his findings in detail. To have a mechanic who keeps his word and informs you by the time he promises was a bit startling to me as mechanics always over promise and under deliver as we all know. What happened next was really what impressed me. Gus sat me down and asked me if I planned to keep the car for a long time or was the goal to sell it at some point. His objective was to give me the option to scale my repairs based on my needs. Gus never pressured me or attempted to upsell me. If fact quite the opposite, he suggested passing on some of the repairs if I didn't plan on keeping the car long term. This is the mark of a great mechanic, one who would put himself in your shoes and advise you to proceed accordingly. Thus, at the end of the day, you are left with a clear plan of attack as it relates to your car and you have a firm grasp of the best way to proceed. Add to this all the value added perks you are entitled to as a member; free: details, alignments, rentals, oil changes, inspections etc and you can see how this program paid for itself many times over on my very first visit! I saved close to $2k from what I would have paid at the dealer for the same repairs and now I have a car that would be considered certified by BMW. The funny thing is that in my case even if I decided to flip the car at some point, the paperwork I received detailing all the line items attended to on my 10 year old car would be mostly recouped based on what I could now ask for a "certified" car. Don't hesitate to at least talk to them and see if the program is right for you. And by the way, get this, If you own multiple cars, adding additional vehicles to the program is only $50 more per car! If you enroll three cars for instance, the program cost is about $100 per vehicle! LESS THAN THE COST OF THE FREE DETAIL THEY GIVE YOU ALONE, Are you kidding me? Simply awesome and outstanding service - time and time again! Gus and MAC Members continue to amaze me. My Porsche Cayenne while accelerating experienced a loss of power accompanied by a strange sound and severe vibration over the long weekend. Called Gus on Tuesday morning around 10:30AM and described the problem. Gus, as I have come accustomed to, offered to bring the car in for a quick check of any loose connection or problems with one of the turbos. Finally made it to the shop shortly before 1PM and Gus had his mechanic look at the car right away and was quick to find the problem - broken driveshaft. Gus then contacted the local Porsche dealer to see if they had the part; he also reached out to my extended warranty company to see if the repair is covered. By 1:40PM he had authorization from the warranty company. When I asked if the car could be repaired on the same day Gus offered to try his best (and from what I saw he had quite many cars in the shop). By 5PM Gus called me and to my big surprise he mentioned my car was ready for pick-up. This was amazing!!! Or I should say "Awesome" and "unheard of".
