    Where the magic happens

What a beautiful shop to walk into and see the colorful and lovely macarons in the display case and on the back counter being made. We were greeted warmly and then helped with our purchase. I had the birthday cake and red velvet which they said was the most popular. Both were good, the red velvet more subtle and the birthday cake was delicious, I haven't had a macaron that flavor before! I loved it

We had walked past this establishment a few times during our visit to Columbus, both before and after operating hours, but this time it was open and we made an impromptu stop. There are numerous flavors of macarons available and we chose the 6-piece box with Hubby and I picking three flavors each. Joudi was quite helpful identifying each flavor so we got flavors we liked. The macarons themselves were very fresh and light, and we each enjoyed them over a few days. Whenever I'm in Columbus again I definitely plan to stop at a Macaron Bar to get some more!

Delightful in texture and flavor. Absolutely recommend. My partner ordered two boxes of 12 and we stopped in to pick them up. Parking was easy in high street and used the ParkCbus app. Inside the shop is clean, simple, and pleasantly aromatic. Such a cute little shop. Service was friendly and upon suggestion signed up for the rewards program.

Simple, flavorful, done right! They just do good macarons. And bonus...on Wednesday buy a dozen get a dozen. We shared and they were a huge hit. The shop is convenient to the convention center if you're downtown. Very city sheik vibe. It's a cute area with very walkable streets and easy street parking. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Moral of the story...go on a Wednesday and try them all.

Did a lot of research as I had it in my head I want to take Macarons to the swim class potluck in the am after our Hydro Fitness class. Summer is leaving and we're all hosting a potluck after - bring something healthy and something fun. I found a few other Macaron businesses in the area - Dublin - but this one stuck with me when I found them online. Parked in the GCCC lot a couple of blocks south and so glad I made the quick stop. The store was immaculate. The staff was AMAZING and so helpful. This place keeps things SIMPLE. Thank you for your efficiency. Got signed up for a rewards program as we will be back. Picked up two 12 packs of macarons with a mixed combination of what she put together for us. I'm gonna be the best talk of the class during tomorrow's potluck. I just know it. LOVE LOVE. LOVE the Macaron Bar in the Short North!

Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!

Fresh, hand-crafted macarons?! Uh, yes please. While I'm happy that Macaron Bar exists for a tasty treat to go, I would have loved to have a full, dessert-focused experience inside the store as well. It just feels more like a grab-and-go place to eat your cookies later. THINGS TO KNOW: -As of May 2022, one macaron is $2.75, six are $15, and twelve are $27. Obviously, it's cheapest to get a full set of twelve. When I came, there were 13 different flavors to choose from, so you would have gotten a nearly-full spread if you want to go that way. -This location is in the Short North, so parking is at a premium. They will validate your parking at multiple nearby garages for an hour. -They also offer classes if you want to learn to make macarons. I haven't taken one (at over $100 a pop), but they're there! PROS: -Really delicious macarons. I mean, really, isn't that why you're coming here? Soft, very fresh, and very tasty. -Packaging is beautiful for larger orders of macarons. If you order in sets of 6, your macaron comes in a really cute, protective box that's the perfect size for six (or 12) macarons. -Prices are exactly the same online if you want to pre-order your macarons for easy pick-up instore. This way you don't have to wait in line or deal with other people in line who can't decide which macarons they want. CONS: -Packaging is less-beautiful if you buy under-six macarons. Your macaron will be packed in a little plastic baggie that will not protect the cookie if it's squeezed or squished. By the time I walked back to my car, the baggie was covered in chocolate from the chocolate drizzle melting in the heat. -It's definitely a grab-and-go place. Seating is very, very minimal, and the point-of-sale area is just feet from the doorway. It's weird, though, because parking in the Short North isn't exactly a fast affair. It definitely feels like a place you're supposed to dip in and grab some macarons to go after having dinner at a restaurant somewhere in the Short North. (As a note, they will validate the first hour of parking for you at multiple garages.) -On a Saturday, there was a line, and there isn't much space for a "line" to exist considering the front door is just feet from the countertop.

These are very tasty Macarons. I got 6 piece box for $16 and my favorite flavors were the birthday cake, chocolate raspberry, and the lemon lavender. Wasn't a huge fan of the dark chocolate but the other flavors I tried were so good. Cute little shop in the short north. Great little place if you want a sweet treat! Service was great too!

Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we walked in the door we had an incredible experience. We walked in when she was making everything and it was time sensitive but she still did an incredible job of creating a positive environment where we felt welcomed. The macarons are delicious and you could tell they were fresh. If you're in the short north I highly recommend that you stop in here.

We walked past this cute macaron bar, and I had to stop to taste a few flavors. The red velvet and birthday cake were recommended, and then I decided on snickerdoodle as well. All were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside! My recommendation would be the red velvet. I could eat an entire box! $2.50 per, or you could order a box of 6 or 12. Note that there was a baking class going on in the back. Could be a fun date night or girls night!

    Delicate and gorgeous.

This place is so cute it might make you fart sprinkles. I often feel like a macaron in a cookie cutter world. Hardy ha ha. So this spot is great. It's a great gift to bring home when visiting Columbus. The macarons are not only delicious, they are gorgeous!! They offer classes too!!

Oohhh baby it's expensive. As of November 2023, it's $3 for a single macaron!! I got an earl grey one and it was good. Like, nothing crazy- but they're macarons! You've got to love them-such a nice way to treat yourself or a friend without the hassle of cutting a cake. If you're looking to do just that, stop in!

We were gifted tickets for the German Village picnic Giftory experience which gave us two macarons of our choosing and two vanilla shortbread cookies for free. We chose the raspberry chambord and pistachio macarons while also ordering two pistachio cloud matchas. All of the desserts were excellent. The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!

I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.

**5 stars for the milk bread**…read more FUN FACT -- Tous Les Jous is owned by a South Korean food conglomerate group (same concept as Paris Baguette) and this is a bakery with Asian and European baked goods. I visited Tous Les Jours for the first time on Memorial Day (May 2026) at the Columbus location. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly, they had lots of options available even with my late arrival because most bakeries run out of items quickly. They sell croissants, cakes, milk breads, macarons, drinks, etc. MY ORDER ($18.95 total for 4 items) -- Twist Donut ($2.95), Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50), Almond Croissant ($4.75), and a Whole Milk Loaf bread ($6.75). 1. Twist donut ($2.95) - sweet but not overly sweet. It tasted just like a regular twist donut that you'll find at other donut shops. 2. Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50) - good. Perfect savory option for breakfast or lunch. Soft and buttery bread base. I think $3 would have been a better price but the bread roll was good. I ate this in my car before driving back to Cleveland. It held me over until I got home. 3. Almond Croissant ($4.75) - my favourite item - buttery with some almond cream or paste inside. Topped with almonds. I don't like creamy things at all and I didn't realize that this croissant had a cream inside until I opened it but the cream is very light and it is more of a spread than a cream. 4. Whole Milk Loaf Bread ($6.75) - Fresh and soft. Definitely my other favourite item. This was all gone within a day, that's how good it was. Buttery goodness. The best bread. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Tous Les Jours and I hope to visit their Cleveland location soon. I ordered takeout so I didn't sit in but they have some tables and chairs available. I'll definitely be back if I'm close by the area again. Tous Les Jours means everyday in French and I wish I could visit them everyday...haha. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 101/250 total reviews in 2026 - 942 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026

New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.
