What a cute spot! This boutique and coffee shop is a perfect place to rest your legs after some shopping on king street! The vibes were very European but the photos on the walls felt like a family. My husband and I got strawberry matchas and the croffle. The croffle is a Croissant pressed in a waffle maker topped with a honey butter. It was absolutely delicious! The perfect pair with coffee! To be honest although I ordered a matcha, I don't think this is a matcha. It tasted more like a Thai tea and it was brown. I was in a hurry but next time I will have to ask for clarification! Great spot, otherwise!

The service was really lovely and speedy. The ambiance was a cute cafe to hang out. The oolong milk tea was good and the boba was also ok. I was pleasantly surprised by finding decent boba in this area and would come back.

This bubble tea place offers many sweets and is a storefront as well, offering things like bags of flavored tempeh or some non-food accoutrements. I got a honeydew bubble tea, and while the color was robust, the flavor wasn't as strong. My popping boba added a little jolt. A caramel macadamia cookie was quite tasty. They had a lot of offerings so maybe I didn't get their best, but the baked goods seemed worth perusing.

First time visiting this ice cold brew and bubble tea shop in downtown Charleston area- 427 King Street to be exact. The lay out of the shop is so nice and open. The place is very clean and I love how friendly the owners were. The drink menus of bubble tea and slushies are great and the ice cold brew is so so refreshing for Charleston warm weather. This coffee-bubble tea shop also offer Charleston local goodies such as pecans, sweetgrass baskets, pickled, and local others locally made knicks knacks. We really enjoyed the bubble teas and pastries that we ordered and will definitely coming back to this place.

Cute place. A little bit of breakfast everything to sit or to grab and go.

Such a cute, relaxing place. I walked in to get Bubble Tea. I was greeted by the owner, an Asian man. His wife was working, too. They had Bubble Tea with milk or with fruit juice. I chose mango with bubbles that pop like wine grapes, or I could have chosen the pearls. While waiting for my order he gave me a sample of a waffle coated in a sugar syrup. Tasted like a donut. Delicious. I walked around the really nice shop. A few tables had college girls sitting at them. Shelves had a lot of merchandise foods made in S. Carolina....jams, honey, coffee, cracklin's, boiled peanuts. Macarons and pastries were in the glass display, and a GF chocolate cake. Breakfast sandwiches were on the menu. A cooler was filled with cold drinks. I'd be here a lot if I lived in Charleston. Go and enjoy this cute grab and go venue.

So....it's hard to find boba tea in CHS that's not sweet enough to send you into a sugar coma. Now, im addicted to savory, not sweet, so finding boba with MINIMUM sugar is hard. So far, this is only the SECOND of 10 places I've tried. Today, I had my first Thai milk tea with boba and no sugar from Maccaro--it was perfection. Here's the thing, only if the shop makes their tea fresh, themselves, will you have this option, mmmkay? People are pleasant and helpful and the tea is excellent.

Yummy beverages and lots of tasty snacks. We had the fresh mango smoothie with lychee jelly and strawberry popping pearls. While we waited for our smoothies they brought sample tastings of a fresh savory/sweet croissant waffle. Craffle?? Delish!!

A lot of sweets/dessert, snack, sandwich to go with your coffee or bubble tea...

Pramon and Wulan, the owner from Indonesia are super friendly and so great, you feel so welcomed the minute you enter the shop...they make sure you like and enjoy what you order...they treat everyone like family. Don't forget to sample their crowaffle...it's so good...they always offer the sample to the customer...make sure you experience everything.... Come and say hi to them....try their crowaffle...their taro bubble is yummy...the avocado as well. ..you will need more than one....so addicting.... Variety of local goodies....the sweet grass bags and handcrafted basket...you name it... I definitely be back. ... Love Maccaro Charleston....

I am embarrassed to say that it took five years to find the best bubble tea in Charleston! Growing up in LA and living in DC/NYC made me develop a serious bubble tea habit and when I finally moved to CHS, I found myself unable to find quality bubble tea. I thought I tried everything until I stumbled upon Maccaro yesterday. Maccaro has a nice space located in the downtown CHS area and I was again genuinely embarrassed that I was unaware of this gem. I ordered the milk tea with bubbles and it honestly made my day and week: it had the perfect level of sweetness and just reminded me of all the bubble tea I had before moving to CHS. Not only was the bubble tea fantastic, they have a wide variety of pastries, such as the Croissant Waffle or Croffle, which was also absolutely incredible. Needless to say, I found my new favorite spot and can't wait to come back!

I hope this will be a tentative score. I really enjoyed the experience. The store was well decorated, the staff was very friendly. But I did go for the boba, and it wasn't the best. But the area was very nice a location I would like to sit and have hot coffee or tea. They seem to be known for their coffee drinks, and their pastries. The girl who took my order offered a sample of a "croffle" and I knew that I would order one and that I would have to come back. I hope to be go back and re-review this place as a coffee shop and not a boba shop.

    Free croffle sample?!?!? Yes please!!!

Iced coffee was refreshing I came back the next morning for another round. It was flavorful yet not sugary. It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! Great awesome pastries, sandwiches Parisian style made and clean refreshing breakfast beverages. This is the best patisserie option which actually lives up to its name, unlike those wannabe k ones!!!

La patserrie…read more Location: located next to Marion park on king street in Charleston Service: they were very friendly and got our food and drinks pretty quickly Atmosphere: a very airy light pastry shop. Has indoor and outdoor seating with display case for all the pastries and food they serve Food: crossiant, chocolate banana crossiant and iced vanilla latte. The crossiant was light and fluffy and not too overly buttery. The chocolate banana crossiant had a good proportion of filling to pastry so it wasn't overly full but you were able to get the flovor I. Each bite. The ice vanilla latte was good, not too sweet. Parking: it's on king street in Charleston so some side street parking but parking may be much difficult on weekends. It is a walkable area
