I've always asked myself, "how in the world can anyone actually ENJOY working out?" I've been to…read moretons of gyms: Planet Fitness, Maxx, A few boxing gyms.. But not once did I ever "enjoy" working out. I found Steve through an app as I was looking for personal training to supplement my other trainer. When I met Steve in person, it blew my mind how much energy he had, despite it being 8:30pm. After training with Steve now for about a month, I've found that his energy wasn't just for show. With the passion he maintains for helping all of his members, Its clear that his high positive energy is just who he is as a person and as a coach. Steve takes a customized approach to each of his clients wether it's personal training, small group trainings, or any general members of his gym. He's always giving people advice and critiques on how to improve their form to get max results. As a pretty anti-social gym-goer, I was truly terrified to workout in the small group trainings. I don't like feeling like I have to race or compete with anyone. After a few classes, I realized that with the family environment Steve's personality brings to the room, that the group trainings are based on comradery, not competition. I really like the people that I've met at his gym and they've welcomed me with open arms. It only took a month for me to find an answer to my original question. People enjoy working out when they are inspired. Since meeting Steve, I've been inspired to run faster, lift heavier, and frankly, smile more. If you're looking for a rockstar coach and an awesome gym, I'll see you in class with Steve at Fitness Rising :)

As a kid, I always came here for tennis lessons. Just recently I got a gym membership here and…read morehonestly I can already tell that I'm really going to like it (hopefully). They aren't some greedy corporate business looking to take every penny from you. It's a family run business that look to provide the best services for you. When I was inquiring about a membership, they guy didn't try to sell me on it at all. He just went over what they offer and gave me everything I needed and told me that I could go home and think about it and just to come back if I was interested or to call if I had any further questions. I went back the next morning and there was a different guy working the counter. He was a riot. He walked me through the gym again like I requested and he was just a total hoot. He really made me feel welcome. I was very impressed by how family oriented this place felt. The workers knew the members names when they walked in. Everyone got an acknowledgement. I really like the feel for this place. They don't have annual fees or start up fees for their membership. (Like I said they really aren't trying to screw you in any way possible) I can't wait to really utilize this facility. I'm excited!

No idea how this place got the bad reviews. I have been coming here for a couple of years and I…read morelove this (gym) because it has all of the equipment I need whereas some other gyms are either out of date or lacking in certain machines. This space seems pretty optimized and the layout of machinery, type of machinery, and quality of equipment reflects the owners knowledge and experience in the fitness industry. This gym is also typically not crowded, which is why I continue to go here. The only thing I have ever complained about are the smelly nasty sanitizing wipes members are meant to use to wipe down the equipment. UPDATE: HE REPLACED THEM AND NOW WE SMELLING AMAZING. A++. The owner is around regularly and he is always observed cleaning the facility and machines. I'm pretty independent as a gym goer when I'm training, so I can't speak to anything about personal trainers or whatever else is offered.

Each time I called I was sent to an email box with no reply. I finally called the gym in Medway and was greeted by a nasty belligerent woman who was angry I bothered her and was yelling at me. I don't know how people like that stay in business. I recommend any gym except this one. Horrible experience. There are plenty of gyms run by adults but not this one
