So if you decide last minute to have a party, stop in buy. And sometimes when I buy a postcard they mail it for me! They also have cheap gas and a greasy spoon inside. Serving breakfast and lunch until 1pm- this is a place to meet locals. The food is cheap and incredibly tasty. It's a necessity to eat here at least once while in town. Can't talk about this place enough. This outpost is the only one around and it makes its customers leave happy.

The beach club offers kayaks and canoes in addition to a snack shack with a lovely variety of food. Think local deli food: hot dogs, chips, fries, tuna salad sandwiches, popsicles and ice cream, etc. The rocky beach is clean and has umbrellas preset up for easy daily lounging. It's a great little spot off the beaten path before the Bar Harbor madness.
