I tried a number of places along the way trying to see if I could get an urgent appointment as a walk-in. Finally I reached Dr. Bala's office and they set me up with an appointment for later in the day when I would be driving through town. Despite a very busy waiting room I was seen in a timely manner and all of her staff as well as Dr. Bala herself were absolutely amazing. She did an extremely thorough exam and took pictures of the inside of my eyes quickly diagnosed my eye problem and put my mind at ease that it should self resolve in the near future. I can see why she gets such great reviews and if I lived in the area I would definitely use her as my eye doctor on an ongoing basis.

She has always taken care of me and has given great attention in my overall eye health. She is always very thorough, informative, patient and made sure any questions I had were addressed. I have had not so great experience with other eye doctors in the past. I had one that just brushed off my concerns, he even prescribed contacts that were outdated and were not good for my severe dry eyes. With Dr, Huang, she has introduced me to a variety of the most up to date contacts and has discussed many options and alternatives that fit best for my needs. She also has introduced me to the best kinds of eyedrops that have actually helped my eyes. I thought I couldn't wear contacts anymore due to my severe dry eyes, but since her advice and recommendations, I haven't had an issue with weeping irritated dry eyes anymore! And reading some other reviews on here, in my experience, not once have I had an issue with her staff in the front after all these years I have visited, but despite IF I ever did (which I haven't), I mostly care about what I'm getting from my provider for my eye health and she exceeds all expectations! You can easily tell she cares and has genuine compassion for what's best for you! 100%!

This caused over a week of delay to get my glasses that I desperately needed to see. I called the VA and explained to them the unprofessionalism of this location and was referred to Vision Express Optometry where Dr. David Shin did an amazing job in assisting me. Not only was he capable of showing up for his patients; his staff are extremely well trained and know how to follow up with their patients. After I tell them I am already using Acute no other options are presented making me believe Acuvue Oasys must be the best. But Dr Nguyen introduced me to Dailies contact lens. I tried them and my eyes stay feeling moist much longer than on Acuvue. I cant believe no other optometrist has even mentioned this product to me. These are more expensive lens but I dont mind since I dont wear it everyday. Dr Nguyen knows her stuff! She took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my annoying questions about eye drops, etc. So glad I found Dr Nguyen and great contact lens.
