Great service and good. Jamal is a terrific waiter. Food was great! Really enjoyed the spaghetti!

The food here was amazing. Our server was super nice and helped with everything we needed. The place was very rustic and added to the authenticity of the location.

"Lets go down to the Sunset Grill We can watch the working girls go by" (Don Henley) We enjoyed a lovely late dinner at the Macinack Grille on Saturday night July 27. We didn't have reservations, so picked up a buzzer from the hostess and joined the crowd waiting in the gift shop or lounging around at the entrance. Our wait was about a half hour, and we were seated in a rear dining room that should receive a Gold Medal for Eclectic Design. Our table was covered in laminated Detroit Tiger baseball cards, and the walls were plastered with beer company paraphernalia and Detroit sports memorabilia. Our server Aimy brought our meal -a Cheeseburger Platter ($11.99), and for me a cup of Clam Chowder ($4.49) and Shrimp Steamers ($14.99). My meal was excellent, the chowder was served piping hot and was loaded with chopped clams and potatoes. And man, oh man, were the shrimps great. They were a half pound served shell-on "Caribbean style" with lemon and cocktail sauce. Yes, they were messy to eat but were so worth the mess. Aimy helped me out with a few wet naps. We had an excellent experience here.

Mediocre Food and Service. The quality of the food, the portion size, and service accuracy do not justify the excessive high price. Ordered walleye, baked potato, fresh vegetables, and a glass of Riesling. Was served 3 real small pieces of some kind breaded deep fried fish, baked potato, a small condiment cup of coleslaw, and a glass of Pino Grigio. The waitress, while friendly enough, did not have a good grasp of the English language. And all for just under $50. This place is definitely not depending on repeat business. Compared to this, place, Long John Silvers is 5 star dining. Walked away hungry and $50 lighter. I won't be back.

They are who the rest of the reviews said they were. The views were good from the dining room and it's themed well, beautifully sitting on Lake Huron with the lighthouse on the horizon. The food left much to be desired between all of us that were there. I got the great grilled cheese which the blue cheese was good, but the apple lacked any flavor or sweetness that you would want to balance out the sandwich. So it really was just a disappointing grill cheese. The beans were bush beans out of a can which is all you can really ask for after coleslaw and fries being the only real side dishes at most restaurants around here. Overall 2/5 would recommend to a friend

    Siren beer and classic fish.

Lot of poor reviews on this place and I don't get why. Beautiful lighthouse off the patio, TVs everywhere, the fish was amazing. 4 stars because the service was slow but as long as you're not in a rush, great vibes. Will be back

    Lobster Mac & Cheese

The lobster Mac & cheese is delicious! And there are great gifts in the gift shop on the way out

Thin slice of turkey with cold cheese. The bacon taken from the cold fridge still has white grease on it no attempt to warm up.

I think this is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Not sure what the New York steak that I sent back really was.

Clyde's! Clyde's! I've been wanting to visit this place for at least 10 years. I'd read the…read morereviews, looked at the customer photos of the burgers over and over, check out the menu photos... And drool. But for whatever reason, we'd always put it off when visiting our cottage in Moran, Michigan each June. Then today me, my wife, and our dog Jax dropped in. It was EXACTLY how I thought it would be. Old school drive-in vibe, friendly server, and delicious burgers in the comfort of the family SUV. Even the fries and onion rings were perfect. We ordered a plain burger patty for the dog, and our server even brought him a biscuit treat! Who does that? We'll be regulars every time we visit our Yooper friends in our favorite state from now on. There's a Taco Bell next door. Nobody cares lol. Go there now. Unless they're closed. In which case, wait until they're open. Pay attention people!

It's clearly a favorite among the locals, and it has the lively, welcoming atmosphere you'd hope for from a classic drive-in. The hamburgers were delicious and well prepared, and the onion rings, French fries, and other classic drive-in favorites were all satisfying. The staff was incredibly friendly and added to the overall experience. One thing that stood out during our time in the Upper Peninsula was how genuinely kind and welcoming everyone was. The Yoopers, as I believe they're called, are some of the most pleasant people we've encountered, and Clyde's Drive-In was no exception. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Fish Trolley's beat all of those!! Made to order fish and fries, so crisp. We appreciated the hint of horseradish in the coleslaw too! They also serve local highland beef burgers, if you or someone in your group that isn't into fish. I bet they are amazing, but I'm very much into fish. Instead of a food truck this is a very cool repurposed old trolley. The service was fast & friendly. They have picnic tables on the property to eat at. I found one under a shade tree & enjoyed by meal al fresco on the beautiful Michigan summer day. The fish, coleslaw & tartar sauce both tasted VERY fresh, I do believe the fries were the frozen kind, but that's fine (most places are). The fish was flaky ' not "fishy" at all. I would go back on my next UP trip for sure.
