Fried food perfection! I love that this place is within walking distance of Credit One Stadium. My husband and I were able to park outside (for free), have dinner and walk to the stadium for a concert! We sat at the bar and started with mozzarella sticks that were just okay. Then I ordered the chicken finger basket with lemon pepper rub and honey mustard sauce. My wife and I come here almost every month when we break for work. It's the only place open after 9 pm that serves food in Daniel Island. We came in last night and ran into one of their cooks. He told us the kitchen was open until 11pm. We walked inside to sit down and order. The hostess, Tori, starts to seat us down and all of the sudden the bartender named Mallory, told us that we need to sit outside and eat very rudely. We don't know her nor do we know why she had an attitude with us. We saw multiple people walk inside to sit at the bar after us, so we were blown away on how we were treated. We walked outside, ordered, ate and left. We did receive excellent service from Tori for the dinner. I've never been treated that way nor should any customer. Personally I would fire anyone at my company treating customers like that, so I hope it doesn't happen again to a stranger or regular. Our friends out here used to own this bar, so not sure what's going on with management at this point. read more

Stopped in late after a concert at credit one stadium. Our party was starving so wanted a quick bite to eat. The service was fine. The food was okay, not special. The late night bar menu was available so the menu was limited in options. It did come out quick once order was placed so that was appreciative. There were televisions all throughout the bar and dining area as well as an outdoor patio available for seating. The restrooms were clean as well. read more

We stopped in here on a Sunday night before a concert. It was packed. Although I understand that events probably cause this place to get very busy and there's only so much a business can do to accommodate that, what really bothered me was that we stood at the hostess stand for ten minutes before being greeted. Two bartenders looked directly at us and ignored us. Three waitresses walked by at different times and ignored us. It does not take much to say "someone will be with you shortly" or acknowledge a customer in some way. Eventually a waitress told us we could sit anywhere but she didn't have time to clean a table. We sat down at one and it was never cleaned off for us. Mac and cheese bites were decent, French dip sandwich was okay (meat was pretty bland), French fries were good, husband loved his Chicago style Italian beef sandwich. The giardinera had a kick to it. One of our beers tasted like the tap severely needed to be cleaned. It just tasted dirty. Inside feels like a typical sports bar. I think this place had the potential for more stars, but the food was just okay and the service definitely needs improvement. read more

I came here with my girlfriend for a quick dinner. This is one of the best go to bars on Daniel Island! Staff was enjoyable and friendly. Their chicken tender wrap and chips were so good and well done! I like the outdoor seating and various TVs inside for watching all the sports. Well I said I would be back but really had no other choice due to tennis event. Two stars because the service was great, PERIOD! Short and simple - BLT had a thin slice of tomatoe and one piece of lettuce and oh my, show me the bacon. At least 6 pieces but I swear it was beef jerky, my jaw is still sore from chewing it and the mayo!!! Did they use the entire jar? Fries were average, definitely last time coming here for food. Bland bar food. We visited Macs on Daniel Island after a concert on a Sunday night, and it was packed. This is a casual bar with televisions everywhere and a bar outside and a bar inside. We sat outside at one of the black metal tables. Beer is served in plastic cups and they also offer cans and bottles of beer and seltzer. We tried the mac and cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. Both fried foods were served piping hot. The mac and cheese bites had were cloying, lacking in flavor, and were paired with a standard ranch dip. The mozzarella sticks were as bland as can be and were served with a boring marinara sauce. Overall, visiting Macs on Daniel Island was a disappointment, and I won't be back. read more

My hubby & I love this little place. The burgers or wraps with fries are our go-to or the chicken tenders in sweet chili sauce!! I promise- sooo good. They are consistently good at making fried chicken here (tender and crunchy but not too crunchy). They expect you to seat yourself, which I've become used to, but I'm sure that seems unhelpful to first-time customers as I can tell in these reviews. Thankfully, they are also hiring new NICE servers as there is one very unpleasant, rude, grumpy lady (who might be the manager?) with an attitude & we always cross our fingers she won't be our server lol... but it's really not a dealbreaker. Was here yesterday for a little pre concert fare. I am shocked it's not rated higher. Logan provided excellent service even though it was extremely busy. The beers were cold and the pretzels were good. The Chicken Caesar wrap hit the spot. My cousin had a great burger and it was cooked perfectly, just as requested. The food came out extremely quickly even though they were busy. It was definitely an enjoyable experience and will definitely be back! read more

Not sure what all the hate is about on this page. This is a sports bar with fun games inside and a great patio outside. Generally I find myself here before and after concerts at Credit One and am very appreciative to have a place to go after the shows there. I went to Death Cab/Postal Service the other night and we stopped in after the show to wait for the rideshare surge to die down. Macs seemed to be the only place open after 10pm on a Friday following a show (maybe other places don't want the chaos of the post show crowds, but it was an oasis to hang out and have a drink while we waited). We also went before and had drinks and apps. On our table was a burger, beef sandwich, soft pretzels, and I had tenders with fries. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was the perfect stop before heading to the stadium where prices are double. I'm guessing folks are bitter about DIG becoming Macs or something, but I patronized both businesses and find them to be very similar. It's a sports bar with a fun atmosphere... don't expect anything more or less. read more

11/7/25 1:30pm. Went to Mac's for lunch with my family. I've never seen a server with such a bad attitude. We were told to seat ourselves so we chose a table. A lady came and put down silverware, my dad tried to say hi how are you, before he could finish his sentence she was gone. She came back up and asked what we wanted to drink, again before my dad could finish what he wanted to drink she was basically running away, he tried to ask for an appetizer while she was was leaving but wasn't sure if she got it. Later she came back and asked if we decided what we wanted and we ordered, I then asking if she had gotten the appetizer. With the worsts attitude she said "yea I put it in already". We were truly shocked by how rude she was the entire time, not to mention the two seconds she took to take our order she was looking all over the place and wouldn't make eye contact like she was bothered she had to serve us. After she took our order she never came to check on us, we ended up having to walk up to the bar to get refills. She came by once more and at that point we just wanted the bill so we could leave. By far worst service I've ever had read more

Zero stars!!! It wouldn't let me post without at least one. First of all, their two rest rooms have been under construction for months...yes, months. So, you need to use an outdoor portapotty. Tonight it was pouring down rain and a kitchen employee jumped in front of me while I was trying the doors in the dark. Really?!!! That is so not cool especially when I'm the regular paying customer. And you had the nerve to tell me to wait inside while it was raining! You have lost a weekly regular customer that drives all the way from N Charleston just to be with friends every week. read more

We live a block away and have been regulars since it was DIG. The outside bar is popular with locals and a convivial place to have drinks, and there are outside tables. It is pet-friendly and sits beside a pond with turtles you can feed. Inside is an ordinary bar/restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. After eating there several times a week, I realized I was experiencing digestive problems after most meals. I'll spare you the symptoms, but it was like food poisoning or an allergic reaction to something. After it became MAC's, nothing changed and we finally quit going. Tried it one more time last night. The wife ordered the BLT wrap. It was huge but filled with slightly cooked bacon. limp and loaded with fat. The shrimp basket was fine but accompanied by lackluster fries. On past visits, the beef stew has been unpredictable. Sometimes it's just an all-liquid soup, sometimes it has microscopic pieces of beef. It has always been free of vegetables or potatoes, so is not really a stew. The salads are OK, as are the wings. In summary, it can be a fun place for drinks and TV sports, but most food is not worth eating. read more

I got there and they were busy. The guy that first came up seemed like he was drinking. He said I'll see if I can find a table that is cleaned off. He disappeared. Then another young lady came up and said sit wherever you want and I'll find you. I sat down at a table that wasn't cleared off but none of the open tables were cleared off. About 15 min later she came over to ask me what I wanted to drink. She brought my drink quickly. She cleared the table off onto another table and handed me a wet menu. I sat there another 10-15 min still with a dirty table. She asks me if I want to order. I said it depends if someone is going to clean off the table. It was wet and still had spots of food on it. She cleaned the table off and I placed my order. It did come out quick but my burger was like warm and dried out. The fries were cold. I ate it just so I could leave. I don't recommend this place at all. My bet is it will close pretty quick anyway. read more

Burger was ordered to be cooked medium... it can our burnt on both rides and throughout. Manager came out and shook his head when we showed him the burger. I have enjoyed this place for lunch on a few occasions . Have never been here for dinner. What a disappointment. Placed order at 6:10 pm it was a large party of 9, but nothing ordered was complicated. By the time we all received our food it was after 7:00. Had to flag someone down every time we needed something. Ketchup, refill on water etc...Kids chicken ( which were the last things brought out so didn't have time to send them back) and Mac & cheese were inedible. Boxes brought per our request. 20 minutes later we had to go find someone to bring the check. Don't like that they don't bring check for review. Only electronic machine with total. Receipt printed after total. Finally left at 7:40. Can't say I'll be back for lunch or dinner. read more

My wife and I used to frequent this location when it was the Daniel Island Grille. Just stopped by this past Saturday while on a bike ride for some drinks and appetizers. Wanted an outside table but had to go inside to see the hostess. She assured us she would be right out. My wife and I went back outside and sat at an open table waiting for the hostess. After 20 minutes of waiting, I decided to go up to the bar and order directly. The barmaid was far too busy flirting with a guy at the end of the bar to serve a customer. So we left for home. We sat there for 20 minutes before our waitress even said anything to us and when she did she was rude.
