Pictures of damaged beds due to poor quality materials used

Macy's Defective Bed Frames and Terrible Return Experience I purchased two Gaomon Farmhouse Queen Bed Frames from Macy's online on May 29, 2026, for a total of $910.50. The beds were delivered on June 5, 2026, and both began breaking during assembly. The manufactured wood panels cracked, hardware pulled through the material, and parts separated before assembly was completed. The furniture is made from poor-quality particle board and could not withstand normal assembly. Not only did I pay to have the beds assembled, but I also had to pay someone to take both beds apart after they failed. I then spent additional time repackaging four large, heavy boxes for return. The return process has been a nightmare. The seller failed to respond to my June 13, 2026 email. I made several calls to Macy's on different dates seeking assistance. I was told UPS would arrive with shipping labels and pick up the beds. UPS came on Saturday 6/20/26 without labels and rightfully refused to take the four large boxes without labels. I then had to spend another $16.15 to arrange a second pickup. The only positive part of this experience was Wilma Camarillo, a Macy's Customer Care Advocate. After spending 49 minutes on the phone with me on June 9th, I emailed photos of the damage beds per her request, and after reviewing photos of the damage , she was finally able to arrange a UPS pickup. Wilma was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the purchase was charged to my Macy's credit card. While I am waiting for Macy's and the seller to complete the return process and issue a refund, interest charges continue to accrue on a defective product that arrived damaged and unusable. Customers should not have to pay interest on merchandise that failed during assembly and is being returned. Between the defective furniture, assembly and disassembly costs, repackaging four large boxes, failed pickup attempts, lack of seller communication, multiple phone calls, and ongoing credit card interest charges, this has been one of the worst furniture purchasing experiences I have ever had. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with both the product and the return process. I will never purchase furniture from Macy's again and strongly caution others before purchasing this bed frame.

I can accept a little bit of disorganization during the holiday season, but this store is a train wreck. I walked up to a completely empty fragrance counter and asked if they could ring up a simple belt. The woman said go get in line on the other side of this partition. Then she went back to doing absolutely nothing. I watched another poor customer go to three different check stands to try to return something, only to be directed to the check stand in the men's suits department. She waited in line for 15 minutes while I shopped. When she got to the front of the line, they told her she had to go downstairs to another department to return her item. Clearly she was frustrated, so she left this check stand and walked across to the other clerk at the fragrance counter and returned her item. Clearly employees are poorly trained Shopping for men's suit jackets one finds all of the hangers mismatched with the proper sizes. Merchandise is lying on the floor in piles. The store was not especially crowded. They're getting two stars not one because once I finally got to the front of a checkout line, the woman was reasonably friendly. Shop here if you require absolutely no help with merchandise and if you're okay with poorly trained and obviously overworked employees.

I was told they may be going out of business that actually makes sense as to why their customer service is so bad.

It's a larger space than the Atlas location in Walnut Creek, so they're able to carry a lot of styles for both men and women! Speaking of styles, their displays are set up by trend and not by vendor, so you can quickly put together a casual, trendy, or sophisticated outfit. They are the *only* place that carries the G-Star brand for BOTH men AND women outside of G-Star retail locations. Other vendors in their collection include the Canadian labels Dex and Tulle. In addition, they carry the Groceries label, created by a local from Pleasant Hill : ) Their target market is from 25 y.o. - 50 y.o., but the owner said that he hopes that younger and older clients will find their clothing accessible as well. *Note: The clock tower will be getting a makeover, as well as the doors to the store, and ultimately the entire plaza to make it more of a shopping destination, so watch for changes to come! *Tip: You can find out about their in-store wine tasting events with Do-Good Wines on their Facebook page : )

We found this cute beige jacket for sale for $39.99 and decided to get it because it matches with a lot of my outfits. I found some really cute baggy cargo jeans! Staff was really helpful, and helped us do the self check out since we bought a lot of clothes! I love Uniqlo because their quality clothing is really good! I will be coming back again soon!

I learned that you'd have to return them via mail (fed ex) which you have to pay for, it's $7 that comes out of your expected refund. You'll have to package it in a box and go to fed ex and it takes a week at least for them to receive it - it's in New Jersey. Then several more days for them to process the return (I'm at this stage right now with my online return) and a few more days to see my refund. What a HUGE hassle!!!!!!! I don't really shop here - I have done so once in the past (last year) in store during a sale for a down jacket which I have to this day and is one of my favorites, very lightweight and keeps me warm. Now I know better than to shop online - or be mindful of the exact size I need before ordering.

I really wanted to love this Purpose Built sweatshirt, but there are some serious design flaws that need to be addressed. First and foremost, the drawstring is dangerously long. I've had multiple close calls--almost catching it on fire or having it get caught in doors or other objects. There is no practical reason for a drawstring to be this long, and it poses a real safety hazard. Please fix this. Now for the other details: Pros: Warm and thick material: It definitely keeps you warm in colder conditions. Stylish design: It has a modern look that's easy to pair with everyday outfits. Cons: Poor stitching: After just a short time of wear, the seam on the right sleeve already came undone. Very disappointing. Sizing runs small: I bought a medium and tried it on in store, and it fit great at first. But after just one wash, it shrunk significantly and now fits more like a small. I recommend sizing up one or even two sizes, especially if you plan to machine wash it. Final Thoughts: This sweatshirt has potential, but between the hazardous drawstring and the quality control issues, it's not something I can recommend just yet. After taxes, you're looking at over a $70 sweatshirt, and for that price, the quality should be much better.
