I do not come to this Macy's anymore. Some workers and most of management are rude! This store is always out of stock of pretty much everything. The manager for fragrance and beauty is a joke . She yells and puts down employees right in front of customers and fellow employees. If I shop at Macy's it's not the one in ghetto San Bernardino where it's pretty much like Walmart when you walk in there. Go to Victoria gardens or Tyler mall. read more

I don't know why I keep giving this store shoe department hope! Every time I come here there is no one available to help in that department. I stand and wait and no one comes, I go and ask for help and they tell me they will be right with me and wait a little longer and no one shows up. Best service I have ever had here! I made an appointment they seated me right away and I got tommy chosen to do my make up. He was absolutely amazing so professional and so nice and caring. The store is a little messy and disorganized but the customer service makes it a 5 star store. They don't hassle you about returns and the cashiers who are doing other tasks will always drop what they're doing right away to ring your purchase. They're also very friendly. I only really can't stand the Mac counter here but they deserve their own one star review, not the actual Macy's store. read more

I came here to return some items. The sales associate looked at them and told me that I would have to go to the lingerie section. I asked if this was not part of the Macy's store... Turns out, she could process my return after all. There wasn't anything special that she had to do, either, as far as I could tell, so why try to make a customer's experience harder in the first place? But if I really had to go somewhere else, she should have told me where the lingerie section was. Other than that, it's like every other Macy's. However, I usually go to Macy's as part of a mall so that I can run multiple errands at once, and the mall that this one is located in isn't very big, nor does it have a great selection of stores. read more

I prefer this Macy's over any Macy's in the inland empire. It's like a little hidden gem. You find crazy deals here and designer stuff for reasonable prices. Have to give it up for Catrina in women's shoes. She is the friendliest sales rep. Even after a hectic sale day like today, she was so pleasant and helpful. Went to go buy a hat and while I was waiting one of the cashiers ask if I was buying or returning I said buying, she says this is only the returning side and her coworker was helping a guy out who was buying? So I went to a different cashier while I was waiting patiently for more than 10 min I see a ton of people buying at the cashier I went to the first place so at this point I was angry I go to the lady and I told I thought this was the returning side and she says "don't worry I'll help you in a bit" she pretty much didn't want to work lazy employees honestly . So dissatisfied with the Mac counter. They never have time for a makeup consultation but sure have time to stand around and socialize between them. I wanted to review this Macy's after visiting today to return some bedding I ordered online. I was not feeling well, generally annoyed that I had to return my purchase--I was so bummed when it came and wasn't what I expected--and when I came to the bedding section I noticed they only had one worker in the entire home department! Despite there being a number of people needing assistance, Rick was very very helpful in assisting me with my complicated return and subsequent purchases!! He was also very knowledgeable on the products I was looking at, which really helped because to be perfectly honest, I am clueless when it comes to thread count, deep pockets, supima vs. sateen, etc. Rick spent a good amount of time helping me to find quality products for the prices I was willing to pay, doing price checks, looking online, etc. and even got me a duvet I wanted that wasn't in stock by ordering it for me online. He reminded me of the sales people I remember when I was a kid, where they truly knew the products they were selling and took pride in their work! Thanks to him, what started out as a disappointed return turned into me walking out having found all of the products I had returned and then some. I can't wait to get my new super soft, comfy quality sheets, duvet, and pillows!! :) I am very happy with my visit to this Macy's home department, thanks to Rick. read more

I order online a lot and frequent the San Bernardino location a lot - I have no problem ordering things and returning them at SB because everyone at the SB location is always so pleasant, it' never an issue. So, I apologize if I order too much online to return to your SB store, but your SB staff is so amazing, always they are, that it's never an issue. Your SB staff are all wonderful, in every dept. I love this store. It may not be the most updated store, but I tend to find better prices and sales here than other Macy's. I went to buy an Alfani jacket at West Covina and it was $49 on sale. I'm glad I didn't buy it there. When I went to this Macy's at the Inland Center, the same jacket was $39. read more

Just left the makeup counter at Macy's and I'm fuming. I needed to make a return, so I walked straight to the counter. I stood there for at least 5 minutes, while sales girl after sales girl walked right past me - nobody even acknowledged I was there. Then one of the chicks finally walks up to the counter, totally ignores me and rings a customer up that she had been helping. "Maybe after she finishes with them she'll get to me?", I'm thinking. Nope, after she's done, she completely ignore me, walks up to a customer that had JUST WALKED UP and asks if they had been helped. I finally spoke up, "how do I get someone to help me here??" And she finally turns around and goes, "ma'am, I'm just going to assist this customer because she's been waiting." I was floored. I told her I'd been waiting too, and she just blew me off. I guess it's more important to make a new sale than to assist your other customers. MAC, you need to hire more courteous sales girls, and I will be making a complaint to corporate. You just lost a customer, I WILL NOT be going back. read more

I just completed a purchase at the Inland Center Macy's on the phone with a wonderful sales manager, Cheri, in lingerie. She spent almost an hour with me over the phone helping me find the items that I had difficulty purchasing on-line and finding them or alternatives that were in the store and then mailing them to me. Cheri was a complete delight and went out of her way to find what I needed. We actually had fun shopping over the phone together. I shop regularly at this store and find most all salespeople to be courteous, friendly and helpful. I find excellent deals at Macy's on a regular basis, use their coupons and participate in the Thanks for Sharing program. I want to say a special thank you to Cheri. She was just wonderful to work with! Also, a special thank you to Macy's for maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere at the Inland Center store. On 3/19 upon arriving to the Athletic Shoes Department 2 males failed to acknowledge my family and I; it felt like we were being watched. We continue looking at sneakers when finally one of the males ask if we needed assistance; mind you at this point I was already holding a shoe I was interested in. The shorter of the males went to the back for approximately 15 minutes in search of two shoes he later came out stating that one was a mismatch. When he was ringing the shoes up it rang up as $39.99 but had he been paying attention he would have clearly seen that the sale sticker stated $29.99. I told him about the price discrepancy and he stated he would fix it, I was already annoyed that we have previously not been acknowledged but watched so I decided I didn't want to finish the sale. I understand this store is located in a bad area of San Bernardino but I do believe no matter what the demographic income level great customer service should be provided whether you're sometimes dealing with ignorant people or not ( I work in customer service and I even give transients the same service a wealthy individual would receive). My coworker told me of a similar experience she had at the same store in the same Department. Horrid staff!! Horrible customer service experience in the cosmetics MAC counter. The sales associate with the tattoos and facial piercings had a bad attitude and should not be working with the public!!! The other associates think that they're just too pretty and cool to help and acknowledge the average looking individuals in line. They're also too good to give direct eye contact and too lazy to assist with makeup choices for someone whose never purchased their makeup line before. I really think Macy's should require their commission associates to be better trained on dealing with potential customers. They are representing MAC poorly. Frankly, MAC cosmetics can sell itself. Macy's can do without the cheap looking chicks. Yeah...San Bernardino as a city has a bad reputation for being very Getto and these girls don't help. If possible, stay away from the MAC girl with the butterfly tatt!!! read more

Worst customer service. I have been to several MAC stores & MAC counters in Macy's and have had great service. The service at Inland Center is horrible. I went the day before Thanksgiving (11/26/14). I expected it to be busy. I did not expect to be ingorned and then be spoken to in such a rude tone. When i finally got acknowledged I was told rudely told with attitude "I'm with someone over there". I waited about 10 min to be given such attitude. I left so upset. I decided to go back during my lunch break the following week (12/3/14). With 2 sales associates on the floor and 6 customers waiting (including myself). I was there about 10-15 min looking around and not once was I acknowledged. It's not hard to make eye contact with your customers, smile (genuine) and say "I'll be right with you." This is not the only time I have received such rude and awful service at this location. These women at this location need a course in customer service. I will NEVER go back to this location for MAC. I have shopped at this Macy's and have always received great service throughout the store just not at MAC. It's a shame customers are being lost due to such rude service or should I say lack of service. read more

Where to even begin... today I came into the MAC store to get my makeup done for a wedding. And by far this was my worst experience ever. Note: I have gotten my makeup done at other MAC places( Moreno Valley is my favorite) but I felt like the person who did my makeup was not very professional. For one, she didn't even introduce herself so I don't even know her name. Two, she tells me where to sit. Three, she comes back 5 mins later asks me what colors I wanted to do and that was it! No small talk or anything (she did ask what's the special event). From all my other experiences at other MAC locations the hospitality was amazing. Here, I was so uncomfortable and felt as if her job was just to get my appointment out the way and keep it moving. Mind you!! She kept leaving and stopping to help other customers. I didn't mind until she was doing that excessively. What I didn't get was why other makeup artists weren't leaving their clients to help out when majority were working the register too. But the only reason why I give this MAC a 2 star is because my makeup came out beautiful! Despite the unpleasant experience. read more

Macy's MAC Cosmetic Counter @ Inland Center has the WORST customer service. The sales associates are rude. They either do not acknowledge you standing there or when they do, they do it with an attitude. They act as if the customer is a bother to them. Guess what!? You have a job because of us customers. My first encounter was 11/26/14 and was told rudely "I'm with someone right now". That was after waiting around for about 10 min. I went again thinking maybe it was just a busy day that day. I went 12/02/14, there were only 2 associates with about 6 people waiting. Not once did I get acknowledged. I waited around 10 min and left. Both times I walked out vey disappointed. I have experienced superb customer service at other MAC locations. This location needs to provide better customer service. I will NEVER go back to this location. I know for a fact I am not the only one who has experienced this awful service. I have no complaints about the store. I always receive great service at Macy's just not at MAC. read more

Mac service is AWFUL. If you don't have a face plastered in makeup you're invisible. Literally. I went by today 6/17/15 and looked at the lipsticks while two workers didn't look my way or ask if I needed any kind of assistance. I went around to the other counter and still no one said anything to me. At this point other people walked up and the workers assisted them before me. And still didn't say "I'll be right with you." I had to flag down a Caucasian blonde woman and ask for a lip stick, stone. I asked if they had a lip pencil for that and she said no. However, there IS a lip pencil for stone. I knew she was lying but I was so disgusted at the lack of courtesy and assistance I bought the lip stick and left. I WILL not suggest anyone go here unless you want to be treated like you're invisible. NO EXAGGERATION. I should have asked for a manager.
