So they recently just opened their doors for indoor dining instead of take out and I had to come and show love right away. Easily some of my fav chicken wings, we got 20 wings and their japchae. The flavors were Serrano chili and sweet and spicy. They have a lot more flavors than the bayside location as far as their wings go. The wings were incredibly crispy, flavorful and juicy as always. Their japchae was awesome as well. I am so happy that they have opened. Soon they will have a full bar set up, for now I believe it is just soju and beer. Been to the original location so was excited to see there was this location while I was in Long Island visiting for a concert. Boneless Chicken was phenomenal (if you've never had Korean chicken this is a must). Skin was so crispy and meat was perfectly tender. The spicy sauce is no joke but it's worth the burn. Also had the Kimchi Fried Rice and my friend had the Bulgogi sandwich. The addition of an egg on top of sandwich was great. Service was exceptional. Server gave great recommendations. Stopped by to see this new place in Plainview. It's super cute on the inside and I can see this place becoming a popular bar scene. The service was so fast after ordering online and was ready at the exact time we had for pick up. The bones fell off the wings which made them so easy to eat. The wings themselves were insanely delicious and crispy as well as the fries. The mac and cheese melts in your mouth and is so creamy! First off I want to say that the people at this establishment are all very friendly. My family and I were regulars coming here almost once a week since they opened. I even had my birthday here and brought visitors here. But we came in a few days ago for the first time in a few months and everything that we ordered was so so salty. We ordered things weve had before.. sweet potato fries which came out fast but quite over done and almost brown. The japchae and the soy garlic wings were so so salty that we had to complain. We are not those types of people to send food back but it was really difficult to eat it. The owner came over and said they dont use salt and he would have them mix it with more noodles in the japchae to try to fix it. When it came back it was the same. The soy garlic chicken wings were also so salty but after what happened with the noodles we just stopped eating and asked to get it wrapped to go and we would try to fix it at home. The only thing that came out well was the chicken and croffle. We were so disappointed because this was the closest location for us to get kfc. Im not sure if we will return. read more

Just went to Mad For Chicken yesterday. Ordered some fried dumplings, a chicken sandwich, truffle fries and my wife had the bulgogi bowl. The good: service was attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant is really nice inside and seems like there are kid friendly options. Food came quickly and was hot. The fries had a crisp to them and were hot and tasty. The ok: the food. It isn't bad but not great. The chicken sandwich isn't white meat.. well not all of it. I am sure some would love it but I got some fatty pieces and it just isn't what I am used to for a chicken sandwich. It is fresh but something is off about it. My wife didn't love the bulgogi bowl. It wasn't bad but she said she would not get it again. For example it had lettuce but it was buried under hot items and wilted. My wife got a few piece of possible old refried chicken. She described it as tough, hardened batter. We were warned by another couple that said they got the same thing. We just caulked that up to a bad batch. But it happened to us, so not cool. I used to go to the Northern Blvd. In Queens and when MFC opened shop here in Plainview I was so exicted. This place is a hit or miss. It's very inconsistent with the food. Sometime the chicken can be crispy and juicy and sometimes it's dry and burned. One thing for sure do not order the thigh. I love this place. Been twice, once for takeout and once to sit at the bar. Service was perfect. Food delicious. The Korean chicken wings are some of my favorite wings to eat. This place hits the spot. Spicy soy garlic might be spicy for the casual wing eater but I love it. They are very organized here. As I sat at the bar, I watched two dozen or so orders get entered and picked up and you can tell they have solid processes in place here for accuracy. Ambiance is great. We ordered a pina colada and it came with lime so we asked the waitress if she can double check if it was pina colada or not because it tasted like only like and carbonated which isn't traditional pina colada ? She said she doesn't know and went back to check and then the manager came back with a new frozen drink which we didn't ask for ? We sent the drink back because we didn't ask for a remake. The manager then came and proceeded to humiliate us infront of the whole restaurant and gave us a passive aggressive lecture on how it's so wasteful for us to send back two drinks. WE DID NOT ASK FOR TWO DRINKS. He took the menu with him when he left although we made it clear we wanted to order more food. It's almost like he didn't want our business there.
