Steve and I have had a very good beer experience with Over Yonder Brewing! We had two different beers from this brewery that we really enjoyed! The first we went from a dark beer to a light beer which I know is out of the proper order but that is just how it shook out. We had the Coco Firenze which was a coconut porter. Very smooth with saltiness and bitterness involved... of course with coconut being the main character trait for this beer. I do like my dark beers on rainy days and this enjoying this one was timed just right as we were getting plenty of rain fall from where I was! The next beer was OYB Pilsner. This was a delightful Czech Pilsner that had a light, crisp and hoppy flavor to it. Perfect to enjoy over the supper time meal. I have reached the point in my beer drinking experiences that I can easily have lagers and pilsners all year around regardless of the season. I used to be much more particular about matching the beer for the season but these crisp pilsners go down easy all the time and that's what I desire mostly recently. read more

I am so bummed it took us this long to get to this brewery. We stopped in yesterday, and this place is a whole vibe. There were lots of people, a makers market, lots of tie dye, a fun/funky mural on the wall, a beautiful space with lots of seating, and a bunch of phish fans (very conveniently located near red rocks). The beers were great - with the standout being the dark space between - which they were pouring the 2022, 2023, and 2024 versions of (it's a bourbon barrel aged stout that they change up each year). They were outstanding. Bummed to hear they are closing, however, very happy to get here, and experience it, before they did. First time here over the weekend after a hike. Super cute and clean brewing that allows dogs inside so winning! The orange whip milkshake IPA with lactose is so damn good! Can we normalize bringing back the lactose beers? We will definitely be back. read more

There was 1 guy running the whole place ...behind the bar ..,busting tables. The good was the band was really good and played good music. The beer was fine. Don't know about the food. I don't think they serve any. They don't even have ice. Apparently you have to be a "restaurant" to even have offer ice ??? really ???it's a brew pub ...!!!!go and drink beer and that's it. This was good. I had heard mixed reviews from different folks, but I wanted to decide for myself. I popped in one evening with my husband to check things out. We got a flight and a each a pint. The pints were West Golden Fadeaway IPA and Citranade IPA, a single hop. Both good. For our flight we chose Orange Whip, Apex in the Clouds, Coco Firenze and Cream and Sugar, Please! We enjoyed everything. We sat at the bar and had a nice chat with our beertender. The staff is knowledgeable about the beers. The taproom is spacious as well as a nice outdoor seating area. When staying at Origin Red Rocks (which in itself I do not recommend but that's for another review ) there's this brewery across the street and so obviously the craft beer lover in me had to check it out. After our experience, I'm convinced people go to this brewery because A) it's right by a hotel or B) it's very close to Red Rocks for any pregaming or enjoying craft beers before shows. I wasn't impressed with the beers but I must say it's in a good location for visitors. The best part of the whole time there was the food truck Mama Jo's. Their biscuit sandwiches were wow chefs kiss! Definitely recommend trying them wherever you see them- for us it was here at Over Yonder. I don't know if I'd come back to this brewery with so many in Colorado to check out but hey to each their own. read more

Not so great service and not so great beer. Came here for a small group outing post the new year -- 7pm not busy at all and were able to get a table right away. Walking up to the ordering counter/bar the bartenders weren't very attentive to acknowledging us so, we waiting a little bit before we were able to order. Friends of our mentioned the orange creamsicle tasting beer (orange wit) that they had in the past that was fantastic along with other house blends which had me excited. Our friends went with the orange wit (which was nothing like they remember, not so tasty) & I went for the spurs tips beer (didn't taste anything like winter/holiday. So bad I couldn't drink it or pawn it off). When I asked the bartender if I could get a replacement drink she approved however, she seem extremely annoyed. Not my favorite experience. read more

This is a super pleasant brewery with some really unique offerings--stairway to the stars is a hazy double IPA that i will encourage a picture of, it looks different than any beer. They also had a prickly pear beer that was very interesting. No food but a deal with the adjacent restaurants to deliver free. I like the patio and music. read more

We stopped in to Over Yonder Brewing, just an hour or so before they closed. It's always so mellow here and dog friendly which is always great. Tonight, they had live music and while I really loved the gentleman playing, it was painfully loud. That aside, the evening was enjoyable but we literally had to yell our drink orders, lol. And there was no conversation happening while he played. Not a deal breaker, but I couldn't help but think about the younger kiddos and animals nearby and their ears. Mine were hurting. Anyway.... I digress. I enjoyed their one sour option - thankfully they had a sour and my guy had a couple IPAs. We didn't stay long but did enjoy the space and drinks overall. The staff are super mellow, laid back and friendly. One suggestion and you can probably already guess what it will be - lower the volume, just a bit. I really think it will increase the comfort level of everyone around. read more

Over Yonder was just fine. Nothing wrong with it. I also did not find anything out of the ordinary or special about it. Brewery is in a new mixed use center, with good outdoor seating and a view of a parking lot. Tables and chairs are standard issue. Good selection of craft beer, mostly made on site. Everything we tasted was done well, served cold with a helpful beertender. I think this would be a great place to hang out if you lived nearby. I find my own notes for this review to be amusing, so I'll lead with them: "bizzarro location good beer too much cream" Bizzaro Location: this is...an upscale strip mall next to the highway? This the kind of place where you'd expect urban yoga studios and chain restaurants. It is shocking to find a brewery in this landscape. You will DEFINITELY think you are going the wrong way until you literally set foot inside the brewery. Good beer: the beer is inspired and solid! We got two different takes on IPAs and they were both fresh, hoppy, bright, and delicious. Too much cream: what I mean by this is...it seems like half the beers have lactose in them? I know this is one of the latest trends in brewing, and I know I'm lactose intolerant and therefor incredibly biased, but I would've loved to see more variety in the taps! The guy working here was super-chill and very friendly. There were also dogs inside, and they were the same. read more

Just a quick stop for lunch and a beer to make brewery visit #167. OYB had a nice little tasting room and a large patio area. No food available here but there is a place called Vice right next door that will take an order and bring it over. I didn't do a flight here but went with the toasted coconut porter. This was a great coconut beer, although I am admittedly very partial to toasted coconut porters. OYB is a cool spot. I wish I had time to try more of the beers. SWPFTD enjoyed it as well. Ok LOVE Over Yonder!! My husband had been here prior but it was my first visit and I love it! The beer selection is really great. Something for every palette. I wanted to try a few 5 oz. and tried the Mounds of Joy, Cream and Sugar Blonde Cream, Maize, and their Orange Cream as well. I loved them all but the Cream and Sugar was my favorite. Tastes like a cup of coffee and in a blonde ale! Nice outdoor patio area and I like the overall chill vibe. They do offer crowlers to go and take out from the deli next door. read more

First- I really enjoyed my Half Moon! This would have been a five star review if the brewery was doing a better job with social distancing. Ordering a beer at the counter had packed people and there were no marks on the floor to keep people separated. And then outside I thought tables were closer than 6 feet apart and then when they had a four top table with eight people crowded around it that put them quite close to my friend and I. Finally made it over and now I am on my 2nd visit in just over a week. Excellent brews ~ good variety and everything I sampled was one I would buy again. Great service, atmosphere, and location for Red Rocks adventures. The businesses are not all occupied yet but, there is a good little cafe next door, Launch, that will deliver for free. You can order from the kiosk by the front door, use the mini chalkboard easel to write your name on it, and sit and wait for the quick and friendly delivery. When I have been here, it has been quiet ~ however, I am sure it gets livelier when shows at Red Rocks are in town. Over Yonder has a great selection of beers and usually a kombucha or two on tap. We first met with them in early 2020 and decided to do our wedding rehearsal dinner in their great space -- conveniently located in the same parking lot as the Origin, where our guests were to stay. Corey coordinated everything, including looping in one of their favorite restaurant partners, Launch Colorado, to cater the event. When we had to postpone our wedding after the pandemic hit, Corey and the Over Yonder team were patient and understanding. We were eventually able to throw a fun Roaring 20's party to celebrate our wedding in November 2021. One of the newer breweries in the area. We've visited a few times this summer / fall. Really enjoyed the orange cream ipa & and the almond joy. The partnership with Launch around the corner works out great. Either use the kiosk or download the app and get sandwiches or snacks promptly delivered to your table. Updating for the lack of hospitality shown to me and my family today. We are "regulars." We support these guys even when we don't care for the beer most times. I brought pizza for the crew last week. Cory, the bartender, is top notch. Today, we were told that our 2 year old son "can't just be running around." Listen, Jason. You're new to the business. I get it. You're trying to follow the rules. But with my wife and I both wearing our masks, escorting him to keep him (and you) safe, the least you could do is let little man explore for a few minutes before we tethered him in. Your guests loved him. He was well behaved but excitedly walking around (with supervision). You let dogs in the dining room for Gods sake. What's your problem with kids? You're going to lose good customer because of you and your staff's passive aggressive tone and lack of welcoming, bummer. read more

The brewery is tucked away off of I-70 behind a gas station. I was surprised to see the brewery across the parking lot after getting gas. The brewery is clean with tables 6+ feet apart. I was impressed with the friendly staff, nice patio, beer selection, and dog friendly environment. The beer selection covers the bases from Pilsner to Stout. I went with 4 tasters to sample the best sellers. I will be back to OYB. read more

Don't bother. There are SO many other breweries doing it better than this place. We came to have a beer and see the band before dinner elsewhere, but the staff were so inattentive and unwelcoming that we made a hasty exit. During the 30 minutes we were actually here, there were no staff at the bar for at least 15 min. Literally zero people present to serve customers on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. When the staff person returned, she treated us like an absolute inconvenience, got our order wrong (how do you mess up pouring 2 beers?!?) and then ignored us when we tried to clarify. We gave up and left. Won't ever be back. Like I said, there are plennnnnty of other breweries in town. read more

What a fantastic place to stop for a cold beer on the way to Red Rocks or coming back from the mountains. I especially love to pick up a crowler to enjoy in the parking lot at Red Rocks before the show. The beers are delicious and creative and made in house. The glassware they use is also very unique, whether you are getting a taster flight or a full pint. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the beers.
