I have never been inside because we always eat outside on their patio! It's such a nice atmosphere with great views. Every time we go they are busy and the service isn't always great but the food taste amazing! I highly recommend their pesto turkey panini and sweet potato fries! 10/10. I love coming to Mad Moose after skiing at Powder. My favorite thing to order is the apple cider with caramel on top. I also love their roasted butternut(?) squash soup and the breakfast potatoes are yummy. The staff are always super friendly and passionate about the coffee roasting that happens there. What an amazing gem in this small town!! Beautiful indoor setting, but we chose to eat outside on the lovely patio. Our server, Dallas was exemplary - friendly, helpful, accommodating of our DIL's dietary restrictions, and anticipating our 3-year-old grandson's needs. We came on a Sunday evening about 1.5 hrs before closing. All of the staff was very friendly and polite. My husband and I both had paninis. They were very good. One suggestion would be to not put so much Mayo and honey mustard on them. They were a bit messy and really didn't need that much dressing. Aside from that, they were great sandwiches. We had to wait quite a long time and normally I would've been really annoyed except the staff was apologetic and communicative. We sat outside and it was pleasant and the music was good too. We don't live far away and will be back to try the burgers with hopefully a shorter wait. read more

Don't pass by this gem! Stopped in on a local recommendation after a good day of snowboarding. The staff were friendly, seated us right away and took our order after a minute. The food was delicious. Best meal I've had in Eden, UT. Attentive service, warm atmosphere, and the decorations transport you to another time. The manager/cook walked around to check if people were enjoying their meals. I've been here twice. Both times the wait for food was at least an hour. They have a very small indoor dining area and a lot more tables outside. When the food finally came it was good. The wait staff was very nice, accommodating and working hard to be attentive and make up for the long wait for food. The kitchen is small so they can't handle any volume. If there's very few other customers, then it may be all right. After giving it a second try, I won't go again. read more

But okay, I get it, it's hard to know when people will leave. Terrible. Don't come here. We waited for an hour to get serviced at our "seat yourself" table. There were more flies flying around our table than in a dead animal's carcass. It was disgusting. Seriously had been so excited to try this place but unfortunately the manager lady was completely checked out and said to the table next to us that she's leaving at the end of September... she never brought us waters. Or offered... she messed up my husbands latte order and got the cookie ordered switched (not a huge deal but being forgotten about for 45-60 really made it worse). And then she tells me that the coffee machine broke when I just wanted a simple inexpensive drip (still $3.50) so I instead ordered a "fancy" coffee for $6.50. Shouldn't have. Wasn't that good. Tasted like Dutch bros. Not to mention, we showed up at 11:30 on the dot and immediately she said oh breakfast is over at 11;30. It's lunch now. Didn't offer breakfast or ask to know if we wanted breakfast... at the end my husband had to seek her out to pay our bill and she didn't remember what we ordered. She claimed it was super "slammed" But if you've really seen what a slammed joint looks like that was not it....Should've just left. For a place that is a 'mom and pop's' the last time I was there with my sister and her kids - we ordered ice cream and they legit ignored us for 45 mins. Very pleased with our dining experience last night at the Mad Moose Cafe. It seems like they have new management and it really shows. Our server Dallas (who is also the manager) was kind, professional, and had a great smile. She made us delicious milkshakes (I had chocolate) and our food was just phenomenal (you must try the burgers!). Enjoyed lunch on a beautiful day. Was recommended by a local who said they had $5 lunch specials. We didn't go for the $5 lunch specials, which is a good thing, because we didn't see any. :) Still, for it being close to 2 ski areas, it was still reasonable, in our opinion. They were doing steady business. Gentleman at counter was very efficient, helpful and friendly. Husband ordered Turkey Avocado panini w/fries, I ordered Tuna Melt special on sourdough w/onion rings and a glass of wine. Enjoyed eat-while-you-wait popcorn. Salty but good. Food was delivered pretty promptly, considering I only saw two ladies cooking. There was AMPLE tuna salad on my sandwich; in fact, probably could have backed it down a bit. Onion rings were good. Husband like his sandwich and ate most of his fries. Soups, salads and several other sandwiches looked very enticing, so will be back again. read more

Probably my favorite place we ate at in Eden! Their coffee drinks all sounded delicious! I went with the Smilin Hawaiian - macadamia nut, white chocolate and espresso. Delicious! I really wanted to try Moose Droppings (ha ha) which was pistachio, chocolate and espresso, but we didn't get to make it back here again. :( They have a tasty sounding bfast, and their prices are reasonable. We went for lunch though, so I had the California Turkey panini, which had turkey, muenster cheese, avocado spread and onion, lettuce and tomato upon request on ciabatta. It was a little heavy on the avocado spread, but it was still good. It was a half sandwich/soup deal so I had it with chicken tortilla soup. A little different than I'm used to b/c the broth was thick and light colored instead of darker and thin. It was ok, but not my favorite. My bf had the full size pastrami panini and liked it a lot. It also came with some Ruffles potato chips. Man, it all just hit the spot. Hot panini on a cold day. We got to try some of the Farr's ice cream there, too. I really enjoyed the sample of the huckleberry ice cream, but we went with Moose Tracks instead--it had tiny Reese's peanut butter cup chips nestled in the chocolate swirled vanilla ice cream. Definitely a fan of the ice cream, and definitely a fan of Mad Moose Cafe. :) read more
