Coffee Shop No. 487 Smoky Mountain Espresso Sevierville, TN March 27, 2025 (very behind on posting coffee shops visits) Smoky Mountain Espresso is a Christian inspired coffee shop with super friendly baristas. After chatting with one I sensed ordering one of their specialty lattes was a must, but there so were many options. I asked the barista to surprise me. She was awesome about my request, took it a step further and did not tell me what I ordered until I was finished it. The barista made a Tuxedo Latte and it was delicious! Smoky Mountain Espresso has a very relaxed atmosphere with a cozy fireplace. This is the kind of coffee shops that makes you feel warm and welcomed. Plenty of seating is placed throughout the shop including an abundance of outdoor seating. My favorite part of the coffee shop, besides the barista, was its Pay It Forward operation. Coffee sleeves with handwritten words of encouragement and love were posted on a bar in the middle of the shop. Just normal people wanting to share the blessings of a cup of coffee with others. This gesture really touched my heart. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

The chai latte was amazing, service was efficient, and the coffee shop itself is super cozy.

    Great service, amazing coffee!

Love this place... definitely a hidden gem in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge TN. Madison and McKenzie were amazing! We asked them their recommendations and both of them made our coffees and they were amazing! The pastries they recommended were tasted great as well! They both talked to us and super friendly. Place was absolutely clean and the ambiance was super chill. Also, fix your POS machine so we can tip your amazing baristas! Niko

Stopped by this cute spot during my visit to Pigeon Forge. Super friendly staff with a large variety of things to try. They also offer a staff favorite list of lattes and teas to choose from. The place is decently priced and shares a building with a frozen dessert shop. I chose the salted caramel and coconut Oatmilk latte.

Cute little place to get coffee or tea. Also has a "pay it forward" wall where you can buy a coffee for someone in the future and write a message for them. Someone in need can then pick up one of those sleeves to redeem for a free coffee. Also features strategically located bible verses. You're definitely in God's country. :-)

all i need today is a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of jesus

I thought this place was pretty nice. We came in rather than going through the drive-thru line to get some coffee for the morning on our way out of town on our recent stay. They had a lot of seating and hopefully, it is filled because I would like to see this place continue to remain in business. The fixtures were nice and it was clean. The staff there was friendly and they had a lot of choices for libations, I had enough coffee so I chose a lavender Earl Grey tea. We sat on the comfy leather couch in front of the fireplace and enjoyed the drinks. Check it out.

Cute place for Coffee. It had so many great options and a whole long list of flavors to choose from to make your coffee more interesting. I opted for soy medium latte with a shot of maple. Delicious. Staff was so nice and the place was cute and clean.

Loved the raw honey lavender latte! The pay it forward wall was truly touching, and inspired me to start one where I live.

The employees are super nice, but the coffee taste burnt and chemically. The place looks clean. But alsadly this is a one and done.

Karen, one of the owners, has put so much thought into creating a fantastic and memorable space. The outdoors just got an upgrade with the addition of a little garden adjacent to the porch. There is a beautiful mural, a lovely fountain, and fun furniture that give the space such a fun vibe! Once you climb the stairs, you'll see various spots to lounge on the porch from rustic looking benches and chairs to swings hanging from rope. Upon entering the shop, it is a combination of rustic mountain decor with fun and whimsical pieces--- from the coffee tree to the taxidermy squirrel riding the bucking fox rodeo style. The place is so inviting, comfortable, and it's charm is unmatched. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee in the Smokies. Spouse and I always get the Campfire Latte, and it's incredible with mocha, white mocha, and toasted marshmallow syrup. We have also had the Heavenly Harvest from their Fall drink menu, and we loved that too! Our coffee is always delicious and we just keep coming back for more! Karen and her baristas do such an awesome job making our coffee and it says something when they don't ask you anymore what you'll be having. Building rapport is an understatement as they make you feel much more than just another customer, but a part of their coffee house tribe.
