This place came highly recommended by a cashier at Hannaford as having the best ice cream in the region so maybe our expectations were too high. Pros: location is great, the interior is clean, they have convenient late hours,p there are lots of ice cream choices (hard and soft), many flavors, nice employees who ensured customer satisfaction Cons: - the cash register apparently doesn't work so one employee was handwriting orders in a spiral notebook while the other two filled orders but things got lost in translation so one of our orders was wrong - the menu is partially printed and partially handwritten so it felt cluttered and overwhelming - another review mentioned the Moose Tracks was plain vanilla ice cream...same with the cookie dough ice cream I ordered. In the picture on the left, the top scoop looks like vanilla, but it's supposedly cookie dough. One employee even commented to another that she couldn't find any cookie dough when she was scooping the ice cream. - the second cone was supposed to have 2 flavors but only had one - the cost per cone was high (over $6.50 after tax) and charging $1 for sprinkles is highway robbery and unreasonable read more

Lake views and great tasting ice cream...what can be better? Yelp reviews led to me this unassuming little roadside ice cream shop and it certainly did not disappoint. The staff is friendly & although the ice cream is a little pricey, the portions are generous. Most importantly, the ice cream quality is great and definitely hits the spot. There's several tables on the patio with excellent Lake Winnipesaukee views to enjoy your sweet treat. Good place to stop for ice cream on warm days and nights, especially for vacationers in the area. This ice cream shop is located right on the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee. Walk past a wooden bear eating a cone and enter through the sliding doors. The shop is not very big inside, with a few seats inside and seating on the outside deck with a nice pristine view of the lake. There's also picnic table seating along the water too. Lili's serves Blake's Ice Cream, yogurt, sorbet, and soft serve including cones, sundaes (many named after employees), banana boats, and frappes. Hot dogs, coffee drinks, and beer & wine served here as well. The prices start slightly high, $3.00 for a small soft serve cone. Most sundaes are $4.50-$4.75, prices include tax. I got a large coffee frappe which was very sweet and not super thick so I could enjoy it immediately. The place was busy on a hot day, but the service was quick here. Best ice cream joint in this region of the lake!! Lots of fun flavors and inventive sundaes, generous portions and also has soft serve, sugar free and even alcoholic options. The frappes are excellent and everyone in our group of 5 loved their choices. Open late and a tremendous location right on the lake with a porch. We will return!!! We stopped by because it was convenient on the road, but I honestly wouldn't come back. It wasn't that the staff was rude or inattentive, they were fine but the ice cream was a disappointment. We weren't going to go and complain or try to get a new one because you can't just return food. One person asked specifically for soft vanilla ice cream but they received hard, and on top of that, it had chunks of ice all in it. Do not order the Moose Tracks unless you're a huge fan of just vanilla. If I wanted just vanilla ice cream, I would've ordered it. Most of the ice cream flavors have no descriptions, and you have to ask about every individual flavor to know what it even is because the names are so obscure on the board. The idea that they let employees make their own flavor is cute, and the place is cozy, but overall-- unfortunate end a little disappointing. read more

Loved all the chocolates. Mint Explosion is fantastic. Enjoyed maple walnut too. Agree with other commenter that the menu board is confusing and could be updated to make it more friendly for new customers. But not bad enough to warrant losing a star, in my view. Been here probably 10 times in ten years. It's on the small side. There are only two dock spaces so there is usually a wait to get a slip. The ice cream is acceptable. The people are friendly. There isn't any room inside and space on the outside deck is limited. There is something quite uninviting about the whole experience. It's hard to sit and enjoy your ice cream with the other boats circling and waiting for your slip. I'll go once a year and only by boat. My favorite ice cream place! Been coming here for years. They have lots of great flavors an toppings. They are reasonably priced, and bonus that you can dock your boat and it's kind of a cute place. I wish they were open a bit longer, but I think they close around labor day.
