We got a table by the fireplace, and our server was hilarious and attentive. I ordered the Smoke & Rye toast as my main dish with a side of truffle fries and broccolini. Let me tell you, I've never had broccolini so perfectly cooked. I could have eaten it for every meal for the rest of my life. The main dish, however, was not great. They really shouldn't even put it on the menu -- the toast was too thin for all the toppings, and the tomatoes were mealy. My mom loved her Pork sandwich though, so I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Drinks were excellent. I had the Snowball old fashioned and then the Coconut hot chocolate in a cute Santa mug. I wish I got something else. 2 stars Entrees The seafood ramen noodle thingy, explained to us that it was a newer item in the menu and very popular was the highlight of my evening. The stock is everything in ramen dishes and this was no exception. Excellent lobster stock and perfectly prepared shrimp, cooked to a snap when bitten into. The marinated egg was very different and very good. It had a nice strong tingling taste. 5 stars The braised short rib was tender but dry. However, when mixed with the au jus and pureed carrots on the plate, it livened and juiced the meat up. The roasted broccolini was inedible. Totally undercooked, chewy and a waste of a fine veg. 3 stars Dessert The peach and biscuit napolean presented itself fantastically, was looking forward to the first bite out of this jar of delight and then fell flat. The peaches were hard and tasted like unripen fruit. The honey and syrup and the sweetness of the whipped cream was all one can taste. Very disappointed and a waste of calories. 2 stars Service Hostess 5 stars, wait people 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars, or perfect, if we didn't have to wait 25 minutes for our dessert which was ordered pre-dinner. It's not like it had to be baked fresh, I didn't think. Maybe they had to whip up and bake the biscuits. And also, this was the type of place where you have to chase down your server to get your check and then once again chase them down to take your card. Now, would I go back? If I was in the area, maybe. Some of the other apps and entrees I saw being served looked very interesting. But that was the main problem I had here. Presentation was creative and art-like but some dishes ended up not living up to the vision.

I must say they are entire experience at Northridge at Wolverton was within the top 5-10 meals we've ever had together as a couple. We used to come to the Wolverton to stay at the B&B on long weekends with our dogs and since moving to the area, we haven't been back until last night to experience the new restaurant facility. It is absolutely gorgeous. What an incredible architectural repurposing of an existing crumbling historic bank barn into an amazing entertainment center. The staff were so well trained so friendly, using all the proper verbiage, and you can see the excitement in their faces as they were talking about her, presenting the food plates, which were pieces of artwork in of itself . This was our 25th wedding anniversary and I basically gave my wife the option to pick any place to celebrate. And we could've selected from many of our top selects from over the years living in Bucks County, but w gravitated towards the amazing sounding menu. On this special evening we ordered dishes that we would both share so we could taste each each other's through the various courses The opening course was a choice from the kitchen of three individual component ingredients. I can't recite them. All I can tell you is that the chef do an amazing pairing of different flavors to open up the pallet for the evening. You can see my photo of the three items on the one dish being served. For our opening appetizer, of course we shared the potato soup which actually had pieces of lobster in the soup. It had a heavenly soft flavor. Next, we shared the scallops ceviche again, absolutely spectacular flavor profile, and beautifully plated. For our entrée course, my wife had the short rib cavatel and I had lamb. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The short rib cartel was a little bit al Dante the way my wife likes it and lamb was cooked, medium rare it was perfect and again the plates were a work of art and I'm a photographer and I've shot food. These were outstanding. To bring our meal to the homestretch, we only ordered one dessert item so one of us had a three course versus the other having a two course and that was the strawberry gatteaux with two coffees. Every dish was beautifully presented Tracy doing an incredible job enlightening us to the preparations the ingredients and it was just such a lovely relaxing evening that we literally felt that we were again away at a special B&B. A special shout out to Matthew the owner's son who offered us an incredible tour of the barn facility as a photograph historic bar for River Towns Magazine. It was awesome seeing the level of detail that was brought forth and the thinking that went into keeping as much of the original 1800s facility Incorporated into a modern entertainment restaurant Facility Please see our lovely photos. These burgers are thick, juicy, and clearly made with fresh beef. Both were cooked to perfection. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The crispy calamari, with a nice mix of rings and tentacles, was very good. It cooled off pretty quickly during delivery, so I imagine it's even better when enjoyed in the restaurant. The strip steak with mashed potatoes and green beans was cooked perfectly, and the chicken Parmesan was a huge portion with two generous pieces of chicken. One thing we loved was the variety of side options--we chose mashed potatoes and cheese tortellini, and both were excellent. A shout-out to Chowhound Delivery, too. The manager did come down and offered a table for 6, which we to going to take until we saw 2 bar seats at the bar. The bar service was very chaotic, but a very nice guy. I ordered the calamari for an appetizer and found it rubbery. I then ordered a rib eye, and my wife ordered the filet. I guess my expectations were too high for what is advertised as an upscale steak house, the steak was 3/4" thick and overcooked, my wife was under cooked and flavorless. I hate to say it, but I have had better steaks at Texas roadhouse, the positive is that at least I had a gift card that covered 2/3rds of the bill and I did find free street parking.
