We were there for an autumn afternoon lunch. The restaurant was clean, busy and reasonably well staffed. The food was delicious and the value was good. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for casual dining in New Hope without having to spend a fortune. We'll be back.

Located at the Playhouse, the Deck has a beautiful view of New Jersey across the Delaware. The windows go up in the summer to catch the breeze.. They have a special menu that is tied to what they're currently presenting at the Playhouse. We had the Tiramisu. Both the Scallops and the Miso Salmon were delicious. Service was competent, though a little slow to start. We will return, especially when we attend a play!

Very cute spot with lots of outdoor seating and great food and drinks. The service was very good as well. I got the eggplant burrata which was fantastic. Everyone received huge portions that most couldn't even finish, the eggplant burrata and the cheesesteak panini were both essentially two portions. Everyone enjoyed their food and their cocktails.

Always a top notch experience for us from the moment we walked in through dinner! Jen greeted us with a welcoming smile, Josie was attentive during our entire meal and Alex came over to greet us at our table with a huge and gracious smile and hug! Yes, we like the warmth!! We LOVE IT!! The salads and entrees were delicious! I enjoy the salmon every time I come and my boyfriend said the scallops were just as delicious! The place was bumping with a cozy vibe.... We feel like family whenever we are here. The Deck is fortunate to have team members like Jen, Josie and Alex!!

Visited this place on a lovely Saturday afternoon. We grabbed a table outside on the "deck" as opposed to the "high top" tables that were offered. We were so glad we were able to be seated at a standard table. The deck was booming with people walking by and a nearby wedding that was taking place at Stella's. We ordered pretzel bites for an appetizer, a regular summer beer, mixed drink and I went with the southern chicken entree that came with wedges, cold slaw, and a biscuit. My partner had burger with a side salad. The app arrived shortly after drinks. It was your standard order of pretzel bites. I like the cheese that we paid $1.50 extra for. I chose to eat that over the mustard. Our entrees arrived. I absolutely loved the seasoned potato wedges. The biscuit was just okay. The chicken could have been juicer. It was a little on the dry side, but edible and seasoned. My partner said his burger was good. He loved his side salad. We opted to skip dessert and instead had dessert drinks. I went with a chocolate martini and he had another beer. All in all, this was a solid dinner option for the area. We would revisit again if/when we are nearby.

Service was quick and friendly. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The fries on the side were crispy and seasoned well. The drink was surprisingly tasty and crisp.

A lovely place to eat before the show! Make a reservation. The location is fantastic! If the weather is beautiful, they have outdoor seating. The inside feels like a modern pub - industrial. Picture of past productions at the playhouse fill the walls. The food is great. The roasted organic chicken was moist and seasoned. The chicken tender box was fresh (though the waiter forgot the dipping sauces and eventually we got them). The steak and cheese panini was fine - it needed a bit more A1 sauce. The cheese board for the table could be skipped. The penne pasta portion is big but good so beware. The drinks are great! Any of the cocktails are delicious. The service could use some work. Lots of dropped glasses and didn't see our waiter much but not his fault. The staff could be bigger! All in all a great spot before the show. Recommend getting there at 5 or 5:15pm for a 7:30 show.

The perfect rating for this place was official within literally 30 seconds of walking up to the bar - the bartender took my ID, frowned at the picture/date of birth, and called me Old Babyface. It makes me sound adorable and tough all at once. And as an added bonus? The drink was fantastic. My top tier chums and I came here for a drink this past Saturday in the late afternoon, probably around 4pm. They have an interesting setup here. The bar/restaurant is attached to the Bucks County Playhouse (which has hosted such luminaries as recently departed BFF Angela Lansbury), but the entrance - unless there was a much more obvious one that we overlooked - is in the back, and requires either an elevator ride up to the second floor where the bar is, or a walk up a longish deck staircase. What's very cool about this though is that once you get your drink, you're permitted to go back outside and just hang out in the chairs on the walkway overlooking the Delaware River. I'm not clear on where the jurisdictional line is where you're officially no longer under the purview of The Deck, but they're taking a leap of faith with their clientele (though I guess in the worst case scenario where a customer violates their trust, they're only out a glass). It was a little awkward to carry my full cocktail glass down the flight of stairs, but I thought it was a reasonable price to pay to hang out in the river chairs. I decided to go with the Stolen Princess, featuring peach puree and one of my favorite cocktail chums elderflower liquor. Delicious. Not only is the bartender an exquisite judge of youth, but her mixology skills were right on point. Everything was perfectly blended, with no one ingredient overwhelming the senses. If it wasn't a day of debauchery with other stops in my future, I absolutely would have had another. The sugar rim was also scrumptious. It's hard to say whether the cocktail or the environment was the biggest selling point, but as you can see from the attached, we also had the honor of viewing a pooch on a jet ski in the water, as well as many friendly people and canine chums on dry land nearby. A perfect experience.

We came here closing night of Tick Tick Boom for dinner and a show. Every time I tried to call to make a reservation, the system said "deck phone not available". We originally sat at the bar, but a cancellation allowed us to get a table. It was nice of them to seat us after the trouble trying to make a reservation. The drinks are really good, but the table service is very slow. We had given ourselves plenty of time before the show, they knew we were there for the show, and our dinner cut it close. Other tables were getting served before us when they were sat after us. The food is so-so. The drinks are great. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be back for dinner, but we might have drinks again before the next show. Hope this place can pick up the pace - a lot of competition in New Hope. Such a great view too, wish we had a better experience.

Came here after work with my friend and had a great time! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The best way to access The Deck (when it's nice out) is to go to the water's edge behind the entrance of The Playhouse and take a right, there is signage and metal black stairs that lead up to the restaurant. Otherwise, you can also enter from inside with an elevator at the back. We ordered the Burrata and Antipasto Board to share. I ordered the Stolen Princess cocktail. The cocktail was well made with a mixture of sweet and citrus flavors! The Burrata was the perfect texture and temperature. The melon that came with it was sweet but not overpoweringly so, which went great with the balsamic glaze drizzled on top and paired with the crunchy crostini. Similarly, the Antipasto Board had a great variety of items, the meat was seasoned well and sliced very thin, which I prefer. Good amount of cheese pairings and the herbed ricotta spread was very tasty and a surprise favorite of mine! Would certainly come back again, especially around sunset!

Stopped in for a cocktail and meal prior to a show, Spamilton. We sat at the bar and ordered a tequila cosmo and a vesper. They were both well prepared and tasty. The place is basically a pub with tables and high tops overlooking the River. Very nice views even though it is night time now. It would be lovely during warmer seasons. A delightful person from the theater came by to check us in for the play, checked our vax status and ID's. All good. We ordered a roasted burrata salad to split. The salad was very tasty but came at warp speed and could not possibly have been just made. We both liked it though. I thought the burrata itself was not as creamy as I like. The Barman was very good. Attentive and solicitous. It was now about 7pm and the place was filling up. For our mains we got mini beef Wellington and an eggplant Boulangere. We thought the beef Wellington was wonderful. The eggplant was very crispy and also tasty but we could not find any béchamel in there. We asked and were informed it was between the eggplant slices. Oh well. It was ok but not the best eggplant I ever had. On to the play! Mark & Nancy.

We found this place walking down the street. We were seated immediately on a Friday night. Unfortunately it was too cold and windy to sit outside. Must be beautiful during the summer by the water. The service was great. He was new and was learning as he went. No issues with that at all! You could tell he needed more training from management on the menu. Not his fault! He had a great personality and will do well!!! I'm not sure why I chose the 3 stars. The food was great. Decent drink selections. I just don't think it was worth the price. Especially for burgers, etc. I guess it fits with the area?!? I had the spinach salad and added the salmon. Huge piece of salmon. Great crust on it. The "6 minute eggs" were awesome. The rest of my table ordered burgers and the steak sandwich. No complaints. The only odd thing is that one person wanted fried onions on their burger instead of raw and the server said they couldn't do it. Strange since the steak sandwich comes with fried onions. We also had the Buffalo chicken appetizer. Very tasty.

Decent restaurant for the area. Valet parking here is a whopping $30, which I thought was kind of ridiculous for the area. We drove further down the block for some metered parking that was $10 for 2 hours. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night, but the live band was playing some nice jazzy tunes. Our group of 4 had no problems getting a table, and service was quick and attentive. The food was decent, but nothing special. The appetizer was good. Definitely shareable. The salmon and asparagus was also decent but I really felt like I could make this at home. Maybe lacking some salt and seasonings. My favorite was actually the pasta I ordered, which was warm and comforting. Overall, everything was good but not great. Not a bad spot for the area, but nothing groundbreaking either.

We opted for upstairs. The space felt like a classy naval officer's club. The cocktail menu contained mostly classics and riffs on classics. I opted for the Smoked Honey Negroni with Barr Hill gin, and a Boulevardier. Both were very good. The Boulevardier - interestingly, was served neat in a brandy snifter glass. Recommended by almost any local you ask, The Boat House sits in the quieter Lambertville side of the bridge that connect this Jersey town to the slightly more bustling New Hope, PA. Down an Edison-lighted alleyway you'll find this small house for boats and ya know, it probably was a house (not sure about for boats) because it's pretty dang small. The night we were there I noticed there's some outdoor tables available, but really the interior downstairs area only fits a handful of folks. The upstairs can hold a bit more and that is where our timing lies. Somehow, we must have been early/lucky enough to hit The Boat House on a Friday evening when everyone was still out to dinner because the very friendly host sat us upstairs where we had the entire place to ourselves for almost our entire time there. Having the space added such an extra vibe to everything, especially because those creaky steps lead up to what really gives The Boat House its name as the ceiling is covered in maritime memorabilia. The walls, book shelves, and eclectic array of tables and chairs also adds to this. People or not, it is a true unique spot. But what really makes the place so great (besides the looks and the friendly staff who never stopped checking in on us) are the drinks. To start, my wife wasn't feeling alcohol and got an Aper-No Spritz which did the trick, though for myself, I dove into the intriguing list of specialty drinks that makes this place worth visiting. Round one was the Rower's Reserve which lists as a Boat House original and is gin-based with Amaro Nonino, sage, and blackberries to create some fantastic flavors. Round two I had to go with a personal favorite (with a twist) in the smoked honey Negroni which tasted exactly as it sounded. There were a bunch of other libations that also sounded intriguing, but that'll have to be for a future visit. Overall, there's a reason people from the area always suggest The Boat House. It's a true old fashioned maritime cocktail bar that gives you all the feels you'd want from a place like this. Perhaps this review is a little tainted in timing, but hey, maybe that'll give you a little motivation to get here on the earlier side and checkout the upstairs area for yourself. No matter if there's people up there or not, it's a good time here. Cheers!
