Made With Love Bakery is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, it smells like heaven -- like love and butter had a baby. This place is seriously a hidden gem in West Central Spokane, and you can taste the heart and soul in everything they make. I tried the Ribbon Bliss Cookie (SO good -- soft, rich, and totally addictive), but honestly, everything looked amazing. They have sugar cookies, lemon cookie cheesecakes, ribbon chocolate cake slices, and a full spread of scratch-made cookies, pies, cakes -- the works. You can tell it's all made from scratch with real love behind it. Bonus: they also do catering for cheesecakes and desserts (perfect for events or celebrations), and even sell adorable T-shirts and water bottles that rep their "Love & Butter" vibe. The location is super easy to find and access -- plenty of parking and a warm welcome when you walk in. If you're in Spokane, especially near West Central, you have to swing by. Support local. Support love. Support scratch-made joy. You won't regret it. Service is amazing

Tried out this bakery for the first time today. We started out with a couple of blueberry/lemon scones and some specialty coffee drinks. The scones were perfectly moist inside and the flavor was spot on. They were so very good. The coffee drinks were also high quality and hit the spot perfectly. Service was quick and efficient, not to mention friendly. After polishing off our scones we decided to take home a couple cookies for dinner desert. After about 10 seconds in the microwave, these were absolute perfection. Choc chip and Bourbon bliss. Wow good. I'd highly recommend this place.

Such a cute, cozy cafe tucked away in a hidden neighborhood! They have outdoor seating for when it's warmer out, and inside is super welcoming. There's a great selection of baked goodies (with gluten-free options too!) and all the syrups are made in-house -- they all sound so yummy. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to!

Such a charming little bakery! I asked if they could make a huckleberry pie, and they happily did -- it turned out absolutely delicious. Ordering was quick and easy, both online and via email, and they had the pie ready on the exact date I requested. They also offer a great selection of pastries (also delicious!) and drinks right in the shop. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommend!

The cake received for nearly $200

I am beyond upset at the cake I ordered and paid $195 for. I requested red velvet cake with bright white frosting and cascading yellow flowers down one side, an 8" two layer. The picture is what I received. Sparse flowers and not bright white frosting. I was sent a picture of cascading flowers they showed me as an example, full and lovely...not what I received for so much money. I expected a professional bakery and professional decorator, which is certainly what I paid for. In my opinion, not what I received.

    Gender reveal cake

This was an amazing cake everyone at my gender reveal loved it! It was so delicious probably best I've had!. I'll definitely be coming back here when I need more baked goods.

Super cute shop in the middle of a neighborhood. If I lived in this neighborhood I'd be there daily! Ordered a oatmeal cookie, and chocolate chip cookie, and one of each shortbread. Loved them all! Very reasonably priced too. Nice seating indoor and outdoor. Wonderful energy to this place. Good place to catch up with a friend, or read a book, without the snooty hipster vibes.

D*** fine slice of triple berry pie. One of the better pie crusts I've eaten in my life. I also had a savory scone, basil and sun-dried tomato? that was very good. Thumbs up for the latte. It was great to see so many locals and regulars come by after lunch, an hour before closing. The owner has great customer service skills but is one mean (meaning talented) baker. Support this women-owned business and enjoy the café and all their handmade pro

The raspberry coffee cake is so perfect! Just the right amount of moisture on the inside and crispness on the outside.

Every contact I've had with Grain Shed employees has been more than pleasant; they truly seem to enjoy working there, and take good care of their customers. I need to shout out to Toby and Audrey before I go on. They each provided 110% on customer service, being personable and making sure we left happy. On 2 separate trips to Spokane, I've visited the Grain Shed 3 and 4 times over the course of 3 days (yes, if you do the math, I went twice in 1 day, and the restaurant was NOT just around the corner!) Everything I've tried is delish, but in case you have to limit yourself, I highly recommend the OG, the beets and feta toast, the bread flight with sauces and cheese, the molasses ginger cookie, and maybe a chocolate croissant. I've heard their bread pudding and pumpkin pie (holiday special) are out of this world! I tried to get over to listen to their live music before leaving town, but still need to squeeze that into my schedule. Travelers: save space in your luggage for a loaf of bread. Sadly, no shipping at this time, but I'm waiting for it! This SoCal resident is officially The Grain Shed's #1 fan. I dare any of you to try to take away my title!

The Grain Shed does a farm to table model and is a bakery and brewery. I got a snack here along with a beer and left quite satisfied. I got a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on some of their house made bread with some Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone cheese. The exact name for this sandwich is the Cheesy Toastie. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.

Experience/Service: the place is cute cute cute! The service was top-notch, friendly, and genuine. Food: wow! A bakery this truly is. I had the opportunity to try several types of scones and some sort of almond roll and it was all delicious. I especially loved the lemon-blueberry scone and I normally don't even like lemon. If I had been in town more than 2 days I would have gone more. Price: normally I don't mention this because prices are in the eye of the beholder. But compared to my native SoCal the prices here were $1-2 less per drink. A latte and a huge home-baked scone for $10? Wouldn't happen elsewhere. So bravo for keeping prices reasonable. Loved visiting Spokane and this was a key part of my experience in the South Hill.

Foolishly, I stayed. Ordered two Italian sodas and some water. Both Italian sodas with no cream, yes whip. That's all. I had the receipt. Very clearly marked. Got the Italian sodas back. One had whip and no cream (correct). One had whip and cream added (incorrect). I told the attendant that the first soda was fine, but the second was not what I ordered. Screw-up 1. Hey, we're human, it happens. She took them back and went to redo. I thought she'd just redo the wrong one. Nope! She brought me two new Italian sodas. Neither had cream. Neither had whip. Screw-up 2. On BOTH, even though I specified that the first soda was fine. At this point I'm not only irritated, but concerned over the person & dog in the rapidly-warming car. Attendant offers to remake them all over again. Why? She'll just screw them up again. I took what was in front of me (not what I paid for) and left. Several screw-ups, delays, and essentially a minor rip-off. I won't make the mistake of going here & overpaying for screw-ups again, and I suggest you do the same.
