We made a significant purchase. ($3.000) The very next day many of the items purchased went on sale. I was notified of the sale via emails direct from Alice & Olivia. Sadly, I left town and could not assist with the adjustment. I asked my daughter to return to the store for an adjustment since it was less than 12 hours since our initial purchase. She went to the store for an adjustment with her receipt. The store manager, Danni gave my daughter the run around regarding her adjustment. She was told she needed the receipt and the clothing. My daughter had to return to the store again with the receipt and clothing in hand the next day. Danni gave her the run around again. She did not want to honor the adjustment but finally did. I had to call and speak with Danni on the phone to make this happen. Danni said she was following store policy. I googled the store adjustment policy and it lists a 7 day adjustment policy. The adjustments we were requesting was day # 2 & # 3 after the sale. The worst part about this whole experience is my daughter is physically handicapped. She had to make two additional trips to the store for an adjustment. As a mother of a handicapped daughter, this shocked me at how insensitive Danni handled the entire situation. Danni can see my daughter is physically handicapped! If the adjustment return policy is to have the receipt and clothing in hand it should be listed on the A &O website. It is not. I feel Danni needs sensitivity training. She could have handled the adjustment request much differently especially seeing my daughter is handicapped. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this location. The purchase which was a good experience turned into an awful one.

They also carry accessories like hats, belts and purses. The prices ranged, but it wasn't all "Brentwood" priced, as you would expect. Plus, when you check in, they give 20% off (with some limitations). The salesperson was really nice and allowed me to peruse at my leisure and did not seem bothered if she had to go back to check on something to answer my questions. I definitely appreciate the attention to service.

Milk is genius in picking apart all the ugliest and most unflattering silhouettes from the runway--voluminous balloon dresses, remember? And the "hottest" (trendiest) labels--I believe they call this "minimalist chic" which in fact is a piece of fabric sewn to a smaller piece of fabric, worn over your head with a $350 price tag. I can see how rich folks can buy their overpriced, ugly "designer" clothing here, this is where all of it can be found. The salespeople don't care about you either, well, unless you were some sort of Mischa Barton or out-of-work celebrity who graced the covers of tabloid magazines for a couple months. I bought 2 notepads here. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the designers they carry at Milk, but the merchandise is just flat and unexciting. If I'm going to pay $300 for a tee, it had better not look like I got it at Wal-Mart.

I have an AllSaints down the street in Santa Monica but I drive a little just to go to this one. Especially since moving to the new space. Jeremiah is just wonderful, SUPER helpful and accommodating. I came in to freshen up my wardrobe and check out the new stock for the new season. I tried on a ton of stuff and Jeremiah must've gone in the back room to check for a million different requests I had. Again, so helpful. This space is also just gorgeous. It's super spacious with a large upstairs and easy to navigate. I'll continue to shop at this location. Note that my boyfriend worked for many years at the flagship location in Boston and he raves about this particular location in BH. Highly suggest shopping here and I feel like they have more stock than most other smaller locations too which is a bonus!

And their clothes are catered to those who travel so think limited wrinkle fabrics. They have tons of amazing basics, quality knits and also some dresses. I have a gorgeous, black lace casual dress from them and also work slacks. Great, broad range of selections. Try things on though - the hanger appeal is not always there but when you put on the pieces, it's when it starts to work and you see and experts flattery magic. They also design for layers which in SoCal is key. I love their cuts and quality. They also have seasonal colors. I highly recommend this designer. Their sales people are very attentive and helpful. I always am impressed by their attentiveness.
