The best halal food cart in NY. On a corner with 5 different carts, this is by far the best. The og of the Queens Village, Bellrose area. Better than any other cart.

Decent Halal Cart for Flushing. The cart usually says Halal Express Food Cart. There are a number of different guys manning the grill depending on the day of the week. The Moroccan guy is my favorite, we have lengthy conversations but sometimes I don't understand what he's saying, but I just nod and smile. You can ask for a dollar extra meet or two dollar extra meat if you need that extra protein. The hot sauce is spicy but not nearly as spicy as 53rd and 6th. I tell the guy I want a lot of hot sauce, enough for my ass to burn the next day. He laughs and is happy to pour on the pain. The yogurt/white sauce as a pickly flavor to it. They also have a green sauce here but its unlike the cilantro/green peppery sauce that Sammy's offers. The green sauce is more comparable to a pickle relish. I could live without the green sauce. This cart also serves hard boiled eggs, if you ask. Only VIP know about the egg option. Their lamb is pretty good here as well. The rice is light and fresh. The meat isn't always tender here, maybe because of the low turn-over rate. If you put it in the microwave the next day it tastes even better than the day before. I like this halal cart better than Madina down the block, because their chicken is often over seasoned, and their rice is clumpy which implies that it is old. The verdict: Fresher than Madina and good enough for Flushing.

This review is for the Halal cart that's like a crosswalk away from the chinese supermarket nearby. Hands down one of the better Halal food carts that one can possibly stumble upon in Queens. I've tried Halal Guys before and it cannot compare to Madina's. I always get the Chicken Over Rice Combination- $5 The rice is yellow in color, not dry and separated, but moist and cohesive. The lettuce is light and crunchy. The chicken is cubed and not shredded unlike that of Halal Guy's. The white sauce is so flavorful and the hot sauce is some next-level stuff(ask for it on the side). I remember when my friends and I tried to order here at 6PM, back in September, only to find that everything had been SOLD OUT for the day! Another friend of mine who is wary of Halal food carts(she had a stomach virus from one in the city) was surprised by how fresh the food was and happy to report to me that she did not experience any bodily/digestive discomforts the day after. Kudos to Madina's! :^)

They don't compare to The Halal Guys for sure. I can tell over time this place has slowly changed owners or workers or something. But a year ago it was deff much better than it is now. They use to be friendlier. Now it's strict business. And tonight the assistant doesn't really understand English so he's having a hard time. The food depends on when you catch them. It can either be really fresh or over cooked from sitting on the grill. Tonight there's more rice than chicken and the white sauce was scarce only on the pita really. I've never had problems parking in Pizza Hut. Maybe I've just been lucky. I do like this cart more than the other the other two directly across the street in either direction. The hot sauce is not as hot as the halal guys either.

Tried all three in the area this one is The best Tumerick rice very moist chicken chopped fine they have white sauce green sauce and barbecue sauce hot sauce, Can't beat the price five dollars with a drink and plate is very full

Lamb over rice with no onions with white sauce and hot sauce and pita!!

I just picked up food from here! It's great to come to a halal cart that is in close proximity to home with good food. This specific cart is not to be confused with the halal cart that is directly on Hillside Ave, this is the one located on Little Neck Parkway. Their prices are typical for halal cart food - $5 for either lamb, chicken or mixed over rice. Although it is an extra $1 for pita, it is well worth it. I have found that although they are a halal food cart, they have a great unique flavor yet still manage to keep the food typical to what you would expect. I have been coming here for a few months and have absolutely no complaints of the food - the location makes it tough to find parking without having to worry about getting towed or a ticket. So I would be very careful of your choice of parking.

(yes, seven stars, because five isn't enough)…read more I genuinely do not know where to begin with how incredible Mezze Pizza and Sushi is, so let's just start with this: if you have not eaten here yet, drop whatever you are doing right now and go. I mean it. This review exists because I left dinner and could not stop thinking about it the entire drive home. From the second we walked through the door, the warmth hit us immediately. This was not the rehearsed, robotic "welcome in" you get at a thousand other restaurants -- this was real, unmistakable hospitality. The staff treated us like beloved regulars on our very first visit, checking in at exactly the right moments, refilling drinks before we even realized they were low, and radiating genuine pride in the experience they were creating for us. You can tell within thirty seconds whether a staff actually loves what they do, and at Mezze, it is written all over their faces. And then there's the food. Let's talk about the sushi first, because it might be the freshest, most vibrant sushi I have had anywhere -- kosher or not. Clean cuts, beautiful presentation, and that unmistakable taste of quality you can only get when everything is prepared with real intention and care. But the veggie pie. THE VEGGIE PIE. I need you to understand that this is not just "good for a vegetable pizza." This is one of the best pizzas I have had in my life, full stop. The crust achieves that mythical balance every pizzeria chases and most never reach -- crisp and slightly charred on the outside, yet impossibly soft, chewy and airy underneath. The vegetables were not an afterthought scattered on top; they were vibrant, perfectly roasted, clearly sourced fresh that very day, and layered with a sauce that tasted like it was made with actual love rather than poured from a can. Every single bite was an explosion of flavor and texture working in total harmony. I have genuinely thought about that pie multiple times since eating it. As someone who keeps kosher, I cannot stress enough how rare it is to find an establishment that delivers this level of quality without compromising an inch on kosher standards. Mezze does not just meet the bar -- they obliterate it. This is proof that kosher dining can be exceptional, inventive, and absolutely delicious, not just "acceptable." Mezze Pizza and Sushi has earned a permanent, non-negotiable spot in our regular rotation. We will be back again and again and again. If you are even remotely considering trying this place, stop considering and just go. You will not regret it. Also, AMAZING ambiance!!!

My Second favorite (Kosher) pizza joint in N.Y. is Mezze's…read more Their regular slice is solid. And Just the other week, I consumed a mock pepperoni slice. Though never tasting pepperoni before, I enjoyed the slice. A partner of mine had a spicy Sicilian slice. The first time she ordered it she loved it. But they seem to have changed it since, and she said it was never like the first time. Then we found out that different people make it in different ways at this establishment. The next time we ate at mezze's together they said they could put a spicy sauce on top of the slice. It was not the same. She ordered it for a third time when we went out to eat next and she said it was not the same. Mezze's whatever you did the first time with that slice let me suggest you go back to that cuz it worked. Thanks for the tasty food!

To be completely honest, I thought it was even a little better than the Union Turnpike location. I ordered the chicken over rice with white sauce, and they gave a generous portion of white sauce (which Halal Munchies is known for). Everything was seasoned well, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. With past orders at different places, I've occasionally gotten a piece of chicken that wasn't as tasty, but this time every piece was excellent.

Upon entering you see the food/prep station which shows all the ingredients and them prepping the food. Then you reach the order station/cashier. They have a big TV screen above that displays all the items that are available. He decided that he wanted to go with the chicken wings AND the chicken over rice platter with fries. I guess he is a growing boy! I decided to order myself some seasoned fries. Can pay with either cash or card. Told that it would be a few minutes. We moved to the side. They have a few high tables and chairs if people would like to eat there. Fridge with juices or sodas & cakes. Also a freezer with ice cream. Service was fast and we able to head out. The portions are huge! Nephew stated that everything was good. Also received white sauce, hot sauce and green sauce on the side so he can adjust to how much he wanted. Fries were good as well.
