Small charming cafe, great espresso and lattes. They also have a seasonal menu with pumpkin spiced latte, maple latte, strawberry matcha, apple cider, and peppermint mocha.

First off: Dog friendly! They have this awesome "madman" niche going on inside and I loved it. When you walk in they have a few tables you can dine in and there are also sketch books and pencils, and a chess board! I ordered a Shakerato, just to try-- if you like iced shaken espressos go for it! My pup even took a nap while we stayed there for a bit just to relax and pass time. Would definitely come back to try their other menu items. They had some awesome things I wish I tried while I was there.

So smooth and perfect for stop over. Got some doggie treats too. Fast service. My cappuccino was $6. Cool music inside as well. There are 8 seats or so.

Super yummy Chocolate Almond Croissant! Very sweet so I don't get it often. Good, standard cafe service. Limited seating. Ideally you'll get it to-go.

Great coffee stop! The espresso had a good flavor and wasn't just watery. Service was fast.

I got the Carmelita, super tasty! Was made quick, super cute little shop. There's not much space to hang out and sit, but to grab a quick drink to go it's perfect. They had some pastries too that looked yummy.

Stopped by really quickly before heading to the Strand and this little shop is so unassuming but has amazing coffee! Got an iced americano with half & half and caramel syrup. Honestly, it tasted SO good, I'm not sure if it's their syrup or the coffee itself that's sweeter than others but I was so pleasantly surprised. Quick service & nice staff with outstanding coffee makes for a great experience. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Been here several times already, love this place. Has the perfect quaint little coffee shop vibe where you order with additional seating outside where you can read, chat, people watch. The espresso beverages are phenomenal with bold, nutty flavors. No sugar needed.

Drinks are pretty good, the coffee is standard for a higher-quality NYC coffee shop. They have a good selection of alternative milks. Today I overheard the staff saying they had a pistachio milk, which I've never heard of before. I've also had the matcha latte and chai latte which are good too. Food is OK from what I've tried. The staff is always friendly and very prompt in making the drinks, even if the store is crowded -- I've never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink. They have a punch card rewards program, as well as a 10% student discount with a school ID. The outdoor seating arrangement is fantastic. It truly provides a nice vibe and a warm atmosphere. Both the espresso and bakery Madman locations have it and they're both near this dog grooming place so you're always sure to spot a nice variety of dogs while sitting here.

Really great coffee spot right near NYU in downtown Manhattan. Their specialty, espresso, and a fine job at that. Quaint little place with exclusive seating, with a very relaxing atmosphere. I usually get the "red eye" which is a great pick me up if you need a little extra push lol. The coffee brews are fresh, and perfectly made. Highly recommend.

SPACE - cozy, clean, coffee aesthetic COFFEE - cold brew (Theo Blend, Caffe Vita) - fresh, crisp, sweet with gentle acidity, smooth SERVICE - Sergio and his co-worker were kind enough to serve me a free sample and answer all my questions about their coffee. RECOMMENDATIONS - none - they are doing a great job!

Stopped by Ten Thousand and tried the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade. As someone who doesn't drink…read morecoffee; however, loves tea, this immediately caught my attention. I really enjoyed it! The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

Ten Thousand is a Korean chain (three spots in Manhattan now, plus outposts in Taipei and LA) and…read moreeveryone comes for the einspanner. I don't drink coffee. So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
