Been wanting to come here for the longest! The mole chilaquiles were soo good! And their mimosa flight was amazing!

Came here for Monday brunch. Service was great and environment was inviting. Their margaritas were delicious. I had the Chilaquiles Rojo with birria. Enjoyable?!? It was eatable and not spicy at all. Wish it had more meat. I love Mexican food but this time I ate maybe less than half of my meal. The venue was cute, food looks appealing but don't think I'll be coming back again and if I do it will be for the drinks!

3.5 stars. The phood photographs phantastically, but sad to say that the outside doesn't match the inside. Have you ever met someone who looks really put together on the outside only to get a "taste" of them & the inside and outside just don't match? Well. That was my experience with Madre's. The food looks much better than it tastes but whoever designed the food did a stellar job. If you don't have a picky palate and you are fooled by aesthetics, this place is for you, but I'm an authentic kinda gal. If you look really good on the outside, you better be just as good- if not better on the inside.

Although I had such a fun time with my girlfriends when we went here, I'm not sure I would come back just based on what I ordered and tried at the time. I ordered the birria omelette for $20... I was expecting to be wow-ed, but it was very average tasting. The meat needed more seasoning and the consume was lukewarm. I opted for a side salad instead of beans because I was low-carb at the time, so I appreciated the substitution. I was able to try my girlfriend's chilaquiles and they were okay... I think the plating was beautiful but it needed more seasoning! If I were to come back again, I would try their pancakes because those look delicious! Wasn't ecstatic about this visit.

I was a little worried about this place after reading some reviews in regards the chilaquiles. I Live for chilaquiles ! I came in today, Mother's Day , and there was a wait of course . We waited an hour and 20 minutes and it was worth it ! I ordered the red chilaquiles with no protein and they were actually pretty good ! I notice some reviews state how they were kinda dry and I agree but I ordered extra cheese and red sauce. It helped ! I love how they serve them on top of black beans, which by the way were delicious too! To drink I got a regular cold brew . I love very basic strong coffee! It gave me the energy I needed after eating all those carbs ! We also ordered the French toast and my two year old daughter enjoyed it . They were super thick but we helped cut them. My man ordered something from the American breakfast and he said it was pretty good.. The vibe was pretty chill! I'll definitely come back

Madres is a nice brunch spot with very accommodating service. The food is pretty good, to me this is definitely a spot where I'd go to treat myself or someone I know. The restaurant is nice, with good music, but mainly outdoors with a patio cover. It was definitely worth the try!

Madres is definitely a spot worth checking out. If you're not in bellflower they have 7 other locations it looked like so you're in luck. The majority of the seating is in their patio that is open door. So in the winter definitely dress warmer. The restaurant is super clean and lively. Lots of servers and everyone is super friendly and attentive. Food wise the chilaquiles were really good! Big portion. Just wish there was more chicken. But flavor was solid. The lates were amazing and they have a big menu. They do coffees flights, mimosa flights, and margarita flights so if you're looking to get a drink it's a good spot for a weekend brunch! Overall place was solid. Would definitely come back!

The food was absolutely delicious! My friend had the chilaquiles (verde), it was a little dry, but flavorful. Requested a side of salsa verde & it was great. The churro french toast was UH-mazing. Would definitely order again!!!! We will be back.

Came here for my first time, it was nice inside a little warm inside. Was sat down immediately which was nice. Had a hard time choosing what to eat whether it was sweet or savory. I'm glad I chose the sweet as a friend did savory and I was able to try. I would say I think their sweet is better than the savory dishes. Service was pretty good, had a few mix ups with other tables for drinks and food. Does seem fresh though because it did take awhile for food to come out. I would try again another sweet dish.

The food was okay. The service was great. However, there's a funny smell on the "patio" area. I wasn't quite able to enjoy my meal or time there in general because of the smell. It was like the smell of dirty fishy cloth on the table & in the air. It also gets a little chilly in the patio & the inside gets crowded so we made our visit quick. We got Chilaquiles Verdes & Chilaquiles Rojos. They both had a light layer of black beans at the bottom, & topped with egg, drizzled sour cream, Mexican cheese, purple onion, & a small scoop of avocado spread. Neither of the chilaquiles were spicy. What didn't do it for me was the chilaquiles being on the soggy side. We will give it another try & order something different as well as sit in the inside. read more

Cool new spot found it during my time off work. Went during the week however it was busy. Food was good takes a bit long but they are making fresh dishes all coming out nice and hot. They play music while eating it's a nice jumping place hood energy plenty of outside seating some indoor seating as well if you don't want to deal with the flies outside. I ordered the biggest San which in the menu was good but different than I expected. We also ordered the salmon avocado and the madres chilaquiles. All of our plates were good a bit of a new twist on it. Over all good find I will be back for some more chilaquiles. Parking was easy they have a lot and there is some street parking. read more

I ordered the birria taquitos and my husband ordered the huevos rancheros. The taquitos were fried but cold in the middle. The birria broth dip was very bland. The baked potato which came with the huevos rancheros was microwaved. It was a below average meal, but better than Denny's by a hair. read more

I'm going to rate this place an overall rating of three stars, but to be fair and offer constructive criticism here is my take on Madres Service 3 1/2 stars I liked the fact they offer a drink while you wait, but unfortunately that was over 1 1/2 hr after we were told 45 min to an hour. They also let in ppl that came after us.... Because they we're friends of the owner we were told. Server had to be called a couple of times for coffee and drinks. Food 3 stars.... Absolutely did not like any of the entrees we ordered, I also asked our friends and they didn't love it either. Location and decor: 4 stars A lot of interesting and cute areas to take pics Parking is limited I would have to say unfortunately not going to return, but if owners change some things.... I'm sure ppl will be returning customers. I feel it's more hype than quality read more

We found this place by luck driving down Lakewood blvd and decided to stop by to check it out. JORGE took care of us and really made sure we had a great experience. The food was AMAZING! We had a great first experience! Came after with my boyfriend seeing this place on social media and was reasonably skeptical. But from beginning, staff was very friendly and attentive. Our sever, Dominique, was on her stuff and helpful with recommendations and with the service. 10/10! Definitely coming back and bring friends with me! I ordered the Madres Chilaquiles and the (pink ) coffee flight. Both were delicious! Make sure you request their habanero salsa! All the food was delicious! The service was great. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The indoor space was small, but there was a big outdoor space. We went in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy. It does get crowded in the weekends. I loved the music and again, all the food was delicious!! Love this place. We had a great time, Jorge was a server and was very attentive. He came to us right away when we were seated. The presentation was great, but the pistachio Waffel was a bit dry and didn't have a pistachio taste but the Chilaquiles were decent. 5 of us came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were not disappointed! I've been to the Whittier location with my husband and the food was excellent but since he doesn't drink, we didn't try the mimosas. Well, my friends and I opted for the mimosa tower. The five of us split 12 wonderfully flavored mimosas and each one was delicious! The food: They had a special 4th of July pancake flight which was red, white and blue pancakes topped with a cream cheese topping. It was SO delicious! I had the chilaquiles with birria. It was also delish! Not one of us had a complaint about anything we ordered! We left full and satisfied! The service was also excellent. Mid-meal, the manager came and checked on us. I always love when the manager comes out just to make sure things are going well. Our server was so attentive and quick. We hardly had a wait for anything! If you're going, do the Yelp check in. There's quite a gathering outside on weekends and I can see the wait averaging an hour if you don't check in before you head over. I can't wait to return to try more menu items! read more

If you are going to be arguing with your paying clients, the least you could do is be right. They still tried to bill me for incorrect food returned and uneaten. Owner started brining up her video, but failed to address the countless problems and issues that were all over that "video". Eventually the food that was wrong and that was returned uneaten was refunded but it pales in comparison what the afternoon cost me. Please consider going elsewhere and their health code is a C which I did not know.

We recently visited Madres Brunch in Bellflower, we joined the waitlist at 11:30 am arrived and checked in at 12:30pm, but unfortunately, we didn't get seated until 1:30 pm. This long wait was quite frustrating, especially since there wasn't enough covered seating in the waiting area, making it uncomfortable on a hot day. Despite the delayed seating, the staff at Madres Brunch were friendly and accommodating once seated. They made an effort to ensure we were comfortable and attended to our needs throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food at Madres Brunch fell short of expectations. While the portions were generous and filling, the taste and quality were subpar. The Madres Chilaquiles, which we ordered to share, lacked the desired flavors and could have been much better. The On Fire waffles, though visually appealing upon arrival, were disappointingly dry even with the small scoop of ice cream. The overall dining experience left much to be desired, particularly when compared to other establishments offering similar prices and options. One highlight of the meal was the flight of mimosas, which was enjoyable for sharing with the table. However, it's worth noting that the flight only included three mimosas, which may be insufficient for larger groups or those looking to sample a wider variety. If there's one positive aspect to highlight, it would be the vibes and atmosphere of Madres Brunch. The restaurant exudes a trendy ambiance that adds to the overall experience. However, I would caution potential visitors to manage their expectations primarily when it comes to the food. Taking everything into account, I can only give Madres Brunch a 2 out of 5 star rating. I arrived with a large group and checked in on Yelp at 11 am. I also checked in person at 11:50 and was told the wait would be under an hour. Despite being 4th in line, we waited over an hour due to our party size of 8. After waiting outside for an hour, I inquired with the hostess about the wait time. She showed me her tablet, indicating our party was first on the list, but others were seated before us. We were informed that we had to wait for a party of 10 to finish, even though they had just been seated. Despite available tables next to each other, they couldn't get them connected initially. After 20 minutes, the manager agreed to connect them. The wait for food was an additional half hour. Not to mention, FLIES SWARMING THE RESTAURANT. Our waitress didn't provide water until I asked and didn't check on us. The cold food, overpowering wall fans, and a $50+ gratuity charge for minimal service were disappointing. My husband and I visited this spot for breakfast on Wednesday after our busy schedules had kept us apart during our anniversary, preventing us from having dinner together. I discovered Madres Bruch on Yelp as one of the best places serving Chilaquiles (our favorite), aside from being a top romantic destination for brunch. The ambiance was truly inspiring. We were seated next to the southwest-facing windows, which provided us with a spirited view. We ordered the chilaquiles rojos, which were accompanied by mazapan. They were fresh and well seasoned with sauce dressing, a wonderful way to begin our meal. Later, we tried madres chilaquiles with eggs benedict on the side, which we shared. I wasn't particularly fond of the madres chilaquiles, and the veggies accompanying the eggs benedict were slightly not my fav. Everything else was perfect. It seems that their menu may vary seasonally, as what we saw online slightly didnt match what we were served, but I'm confident you'll always find something you'll enjoy. The birria eggs Benedict was delicious, it was not overly wet to soak into the bread and the birria had a nice flavor and not too salty. The wilma pancakes are delicious, covered in fruity pebbles and lechera and while on the sweet side already the pancakes themselves are not too sweet, so taking it slow and a balance with other plates made it more palatable and easier to eat. Service is good as well we showed up a bit after a rush hour and with about a 25 minute wait time we were serviced within that time and after ordering we did not have to wait too long to receive our food. Our server Tadeo Martinez came and checked in on us to make sure everything was fine and and patient while taking our order despite a bit of a rush, and also provided recommendations to some of the coffees they offer, my favorite being the pistachio coffee. Today was my first time coming by but I've been seeing it all over instagram and honestly it was a cute experience. The food was delicious however I did get the chilaquiles verdes with steak, and they were a little dry so I had to ask for more salsa and the steak could of had more flavor but for $7 more the portion size for steak was a little smaller than I thought it would be. The mimosa flight was delicious and super cute, highly recommend it. Oh and the horchata was sooooo fire! Never had better horchata hahaha. Our server was Danny and he did an amazing job, was very attentive and friendly always made us laugh when he helped the table so that was nice. Loved it overall I'll definitely be back. read more

So, I went to Madre's Brunch, and let me tell you, it was like a big party in there! The food menu had a little something for everyone, which was cool. I tried this horchata latte and oh my goodness, it was seriously delicious! I gotta be honest though, the Madres Chilaquiles were just okay, not the best I've ever had. Now, the One birria sandwich was huge, like seriously gigantic. The only thing was, there was maybe too much bread compared to the sandwich stuff, you know what I mean? They had this Michelada flight thing too, which was alright, but I kind of wished there was more of the Michelada mix in each one. AMAZING! Cris and Elizabeth made my birthday brunch super special. They both provided me with excellent customer service, super attentive, and quick. The place is beautiful and calm, the decor is fun and fresh, and just gave off warm comforting vibes. The food was amazing, my boyfriend and I started off with a Birria Omelette and 2 Egg combo. To finish it off we got the Fire waffle and the Strawberry Horchata Pancakes , they were super fluffy, warm and soft. Our meal was the perfect balance between Savory and Sweet.
