I'm going to rate this place an overall rating of three stars, but to be fair and offer constructive criticism here is my take on Madres Service 3 1/2 stars I liked the fact they offer a drink while you wait, but unfortunately that was over 1 1/2 hr after we were told 45 min to an hour. They also let in ppl that came after us.... Because they we're friends of the owner we were told. Server had to be called a couple of times for coffee and drinks. Food 3 stars.... Absolutely did not like any of the entrees we ordered, I also asked our friends and they didn't love it either. Location and decor: 4 stars A lot of interesting and cute areas to take pics Parking is limited I would have to say unfortunately not going to return, but if owners change some things.... I'm sure ppl will be returning customers. I feel it's more hype than quality read more

Came here on a Wednesday morning and food service was on point! Elizabeth was a wonderful server, she was super friendly and very helpful with recommendations! We ordered the pastor omelette, Madres chilaquiles, Abuelita coffee and horchata latte. The pastor omelette was amazing! The pineapples and roasted onions really complimented the pastor! Would definitely order again! The Madres chilaquiles had good flavor but the birria beef was a bit dry. We saw other tables order the other chilaquiles which looked really good, will try that next time! Both coffees were tasty and unique! Definitely worth trying at least once! It's a very cute brunch place that can get very crowded. Parking lot is kind of small, it was filled up on a Wednesday morning so I think it would be tough on weekends so get there early! :) read more

Stopped by Madres Brunch after wanting to stop by for months. We are sooo glad we did. We got the Pastor Omelette & the Birria Chilaquiles and as couldn't stop taking from each others plates because both were so good. I got the Mazapan Latte & I would definitely get that again and again. Our server, Jorge, is the best. He made sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meal. My bf and I were looking for a brunch spot- we found Madres Brunch and it was a great experience overall. The wait time was within 10-15 minutes. We were sat down and immediately our waiter came and introduced himself offer us water and asked if we wanted drinks. Our Waiters name is Jorge, he was very polite and attentive. The ambiance was great, very friendly and clean. The food was amazing, we ordered a Rancheros and Chilaquiles Verde, delicious. The sauce in the eggs was very flavorful, great combination with eggs, frijoles and tortilla. Overall it was a great experience and meal. Definitely will return. read more

Very very good place! Definitely will come back. Not a single thing isn't good here. The only thing that is extremely disappointing is how I ordered oat milk for MY coffee. Once the receipt came it showed plus $1 for oat milk on my sister's matcha and my mom's coffee when they did not ask for oat milk. They also charged us an extra dollar because they said eggs are expensive! If you cannot afford eggs then maybe don't have it on the menu. It's not our fault eggs are expensive and we shouldn't be paying the restaurant an extra dollar for some eggs that should already come in a breakfast sandwich or plate. Makes zero sense. Other than that food is very good. Just charge too much extra this and that. read more

The one breakfast sandwich was good, just the potatoes need a bit more salt and the meat was a bit dry but the sauce on the side makes up for it. The pistachio waffle is just a regular waffle with food coloring topped with pistachios and pistachio ice cream which gives it that pistachio look and taste. read more

All the food was delicious! The service was great. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The indoor space was small, but there was a big outdoor space. We went in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy. It does get crowded in the weekends. I loved the music and again, all the food was delicious!! Love this place. It was our first time coming here . Pictures on yelp look great and the almost 5 stars is what brought us in. I was very disappointed . We walked in , to a hostess that wasn't the most welcoming . There was no wait so we got a table right away. 10 minutes pass by and we haven't seen our waiter or someone at least to tell us we would be helped . I was considering walking out , and I should have followed my gut Instict but we stayed . Finally a waiter came to take our order ( almost a 15 min wait ) . I decided to get the breakfast with the 2 eggs bacon , hashbrowns , and toast and a pancake . My husband got the waffles . For drinks we got 2 coffees and a orange juice . Let's start with the coffee, it tasted bitter and old not even sugar was able to give it a decent flavor . For my breakfast the hashbrowns were to salty but the eggs needed flavor. Also the eggs were soft but part of it seemed hard . The toast was extremely dry . Pancake was ok . My husband said waffles were ok , nothing special . This restaurant is 100% hyped up . Went on Saturday around 12:30pm, joined the Yelp waitlist and was seated about 20 min after I checked in. Music is very loud so you can't really have a conversation with your friends. Agua de horchata $7 tasted like milk. Margarita flight $25 was super watered down. The only one that had ANY flavor was the strawberry one. The strawberry pancakes $19 were good. The One sandwich with birria $22 had little flavor, the bread was super burnt on the sides facing inside so that sucked. read more

Brunch spot in Bellflower?! Trust me this place is not only for the gram. The food is actually delicious as it is presentable. I was fortunate enough to know the story behind most of the dishes and the amazing story of the owner. The lobster omelette was savory and creamy. The pancakes tasted exactly what a strawberry shortcake would taste like. The birria dishes are also on point. Remember it's very busy and the wait can be a bit long but it's worth the wait. Do not go there if you're entitled. Go to ihop or dennys or norms. But if you're a rational person and appreciate a great brunch then come here and enjoy the ambience. I came to this place for the first time on August 7th to celebrate my friends birthday. There was a short wait time even though it was a Monday but we were seated fairly quickly. The waitress was nice but they were pretty busy so she only checked in with us a few times. It took a bit for us to actually get our drinks once we ordered them. I ordered the Chile verde chilaquiles with chicken. I asked for them to be well done, spoiler alert they were the soggyest chilaquiles I've ever had and could not eat most of the plate. :( The chicken was dry and not really seasoned either. I was sad that I spent so much and was highly disappointed . The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the drinks were cute and tasty. Overall I would not recommend this place or go back and willingly spend my money here. read more
