Mae Ploy's is an all around great Tai Restaurant. From the sushi to the soups to the entree's they have yet to disappoint me. The staff does a great job and the business is ran very well. Pricing is slightly too high for the value particularly on the sushi, but the cuisine is easily the best of it's kind in the Lebanon area. I like how they give you a spice rack upon request if you enjoy heating things up, and my wife and I both love their sushi! read more

The first 3 times the food was outstanding! However, the last time I went two out of the four entrees were not very good and had NO flavor at all. The Beef and Broccoli was so bland and the beef was very chewy with absolutely no flavor; it even had a weird pale color to it. I don't know if they got a new chef from when they first opened but it was sadly not very good last might. I'll give it another shot but it was so bad this past time that it may be hard to overcome. The reviews gave us high hopes for this restaurant, but we were unfortunately underwhelmed. After discussing a cilantro allergy, the soup came full of it. The eggplant dish was bland and oily. We had some luck with the massaman curry, full of chicken and flavor. If there are other Thai places in the part of town, we'd try those instead next time. read more

Had Pad Thai and it was amazing! You can order food on a scale from mild to Thai hot. Service was great and we got to meet the owner. She was very kind and said she sees everyone who comes to her restaurant as family and friends, not customers. Can't get better than that! Will definitely go again soon. read more

Ate there for the second time. First time was opening night. Service was slow but food was great. Went again tonight. Service was very much improved. We got our food in a timely manner and all of the wait staff was very attentive to our needs. Had Chicken Rama. I was unsure what to expect but the owner recommended it to me. It was excellent! Also had eggs rolls and crab rangoon. They both were also excellent. They definitely have gotten the service side under control.....and the food is excellent. Highly recommend. Why is everyone so quick to leave bad reviews?? This is the first month they have been open. Sure, they have a few bugs to work out but just give them a chance. They are always busy and I'll tell you why...the food is awesome. I have eaten here three times and have enjoyed the orange chicken, pineapple fried rice, sushi and pad thai. No complaints. If you don't want to wait a few extra minutes for excellent food McDonalds is right down the road. read more

An absolutely horrible experience where do I begin (1) we waited 45 minutes for our food when we got it, it was liuke warm at best. (2) my wife orders an egg roll that was still frozen in the middle. Two problems here why were they frozen and not fresh and apparently the microwave was on the fritz (3) when I complained to the "owner" about the slow service she said she had to go fishing (I had liuke warm fish). A poor very poor attempt at humor when we were clearly upset. (4) i repeatedly had to wait for my ice tea to be filled and requested additional ice and was given none. (5) This is NOT Thai food very little spicy heat at best it's a poor imitation of mediocre Chinese. When Mea Ploys opened a year ago it seemed very authentic Thai food. I had the pad Thai it was spicy just the way I like it, it was very good! So with covid-19 I wanted something different so my family and I decided to order from them just to keep it local and to support local businesses. My daughter and I ordered the pad Thai and I purchased egg rolls my wife ordered the stir fry with a brown sauce. So we are eating the pad Thai and all the meat and the shrimp were over cooked my wife's stir fry was watery and and tasteless. So I called them and they agreed to remake the pad Thai and the stir fry. Picked it up brought it home it was pipping hot but I didn't complain about the temperature it was the flavor. It tasted just the same. Now I don't know about you but I think they changed owners because now instead of Asian I'm getting Authentic American. Your right it does sound a little racist but people I met the first time doesn't reflect the food I received the first time I was there. Being a new restaurant in a small town where everyone knows everyone you'd think they'd try to hold on to that. Sorry to say but I won't go back. read more

So glad this restaurant is open during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have outside seating as an option, and I have always enjoyed whatever I order. (I like to try something different each time we go.) The serving staff are friendly and efficient, and the owner walks around and engages with diners in a pleasant way, making sure everyone is happy. One of my favorite noodles is the pad thai noodle and I have to say that Mae Ploy has one of the best I've had. My group had pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, and red curry too. All the dishes we had tasted great. It's a nice find in Lebanon. The service is decent and the food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time. read more

We were seated and waited 10 minutes to get drinks. After a half hour of waiting and asking twice for a server who never appeared, we asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave. They didn't charge us for the drinks nor did they try to find the elusive server. I do not recommend unless you have hours to kill. Smelled good though. read more

First time at Mae Ploys this evening. I was there to celebrate my birthday with my husband and a couple of friends. The food was great, Very fresh and tasty. The service was terribly slow; but I wasn't in a hurry so that didn't bother me. What did bother me ... is that the staff started closing the restaurant while we were still finishing our dessert and wine. They close at 9 on Weds. and at 8:40 they started cleaning the area around us. That's cool, if they are bussing tables and performing closing tasks in kitchen; but it was rude to start vacuuming, cranking the music up and locking the door as we finished our meal; before 9. Bad form ! You should start those tasks after your last guest leaves. Reccomend for the food...not so much for service and etiquette read more

We come to this restaurant at least twice a month since discovering it not long ago. The Khao Soi is amazing! The sushi is always so good, the drinks are strong and flavorful, and the staff are amazing and knowledgeable about the food. Oh, and the desserts are DEFINITELY worth trying! read more

Found this on Yelp and turned out to be an absolute gem of a place! The owner came out to greet us and the staff was very attentive. We tried the Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup both of which we were amazing. The entrees - basil fried rice, red curry chicken were equally great. Great to have a really good Thai place close by. Poor take out experience. Placed order via phone and told food wouldn't be ready for 30-40 minutes. Okay, that's fine. Arrive 40 minutes later and told it would be "7-9" minutes. After 10 minutes, was told it would be another "5-10" minutes. A full hour after placing our order, with 20 minutes of that waiting in restaurant, our food was ready to go. No offer to make this right or even more than a halfhearted "sorry, what's your name again". While my husband waited for the food I was stuck waiting in the car with a crying 15 month old on Mother's Day. No plans to return given our experience. read more
