Domenic is truly a godsend! I have a very difficult/aggressive chihuahua and an older terrier/spaniel mix who has numerous medical issues. Finding the right pet sitter had been a challenge, but with Domenic, my search is over! The big test was a week long trip I took the end of last October. Photos I got from other pet sitters from previous trips showed my pups looking "OK," but I could tell they were not really happy. The photos that Domenic sent showed everyone relaxed and super happy! Domenic is AMAZING. He goes above and beyond what a typical dog walker would do. Whenever I go out of town, I feel a sense of security knowing that our dog is in such good, caring, and responsible hands. Our schnoodle, Theo, is a rescue who loves people and was definitely a bit difficult to walk when I first got him. He's pretty strong for a 20 lb dog and enjoys pulling me down the street despite his no-pull harness. Theo absolutely HATES other dogs and squirrels and will release this super sonic bark/scream if he sees either (happens often in our neighborhood), so I often succumb to picking him up and carrying him down the block or zigzagging to avoid other dogs. I reached out to Domenic a few years ago after my neighbor referred me. When Domenic came over for our initial meet and greet, Theo pretty much just walked into his lap and hired him. Domenic was very professional and thorough with his explanations and contracts. He answered all of my questions/concerns and put me at ease as I was definitely anxious about leaving my dog for the first time. I felt reassured that he knew what he was doing because he had a lot of experience working with dogs. While on my trip, Domenic sent consistent, detailed text updates after every walk that explained everything that happened. They were like mini progress reports that listed the exact start/stop times of the walks, bathroom breaks, encounters with squirrels/dogs, Theo's behavior, and photos. Theo was having a blast! The BEST and most unexpected part about this whole experience was when I came home and walked Theo for the first time. I had a new and improved dog. Domenic somehow trained Theo to walk and listen better after 3 days. Theo stopped pulling aggressively and responded to commands. I've legitimately been less stressed while walking Theo ever since and am SO grateful to Domenic for putting his time and care into not only just walking my dog, but also rehabilitating him. Domenic has been working with our family of dogs for the past few years. I initially contacted him because I was having trouble with my American Bully reacting to other dogs on our walks. My other dog, TJ, a terrier mix would react in the same manner around Chapo, our bully. When TJ was walked alone, he was fine.
