Worst food I have ever had in a very long time. I was excited to see the name Maggianos was now delivering but by now you can imagine my disappointment that Maggianos in Scottsdale sold out to Chilis whom completely ruined their image. I ordered Spaghetti with a meat ball and this dish was the worst and almost made me vomit the meatball was dry very salty and had the taste and consistency of dog food seriously I wouldn't lie. It was also very spicy and very very salty like to cover up something. It didn't taste right at all. I had also ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and that was also salty and the noodles were not throughly cooked. Breadsticks were hard as well. I will never in my life order here again.. I like the chicken fettuccine Alfredo a lot, the sauce I understand can be thick for some people but I like that they put a lot of sauce that you can dip their soft and delicious breadsticks in. I've never been to maggianos and have only ordered from them through DoorDash but I haven't been disappointed. I prefer this Alfredo over the one you get at olive garden. They also put a lot of perfectly cooked chicken in it if you request it. The To-go packaging is really nice, the flavor is the best though. I love this place and I've never been there. I have seen some bad reviews and I'm sorry they feel the way they do cause I have never enjoyed a better Alfredo with better flavor and quantity as this one :) most of the time I never finish my food but I have finished this plate and it was worth every bite. I wish I had taken a better picture but I couldnt help but getting right to digging in

This was just sad. First off I asked for meat sauce and I didn't get it. They gave me barely any sauce to begin with. This is how it came when I opened it. The meatball just looks disgusting. Everything about it was not good.

Look at the tomatoes, and no that's not cheese or dressing

I received my food from the restaurant. It was dry and didn't taste fresh. It was partly burned.

I love the Maggiano's Restaurant, so I expected more. Although the portions are large the quality of food it not good for the price.

Sent meat sauce instead of advertised marinara sauce which is a meatless sauce to vegetarians.

I also appreciate that every table comes with olive oil and vinegar. We ordered the mentai cream pasta and the uni pasta. The mentai pasta was packed with umami and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly al dente. The nori and mushrooms paired really well with the sauce as well. The uni pasta was just as good. The sauce was rich and creamy and the uni on top was fresh and buttery. The meal also comes with complimentary bread and salad. The salad was light and refreshing which helped balance out the richness of the pasta. The bread was simple but great for dipping in olive oil and vinegar. The service is always friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of Japanese Italian fusion, this place is definitely worth a visit. I honestly have nothing bad to say and can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Pastas were oilier than expected. Tight seating; they really packed as many tables in. It was loud and hard to have a conversation unless you were yelling. He was sitting steps from the door. My curiosity brought me in, after reviewing the menu I told him I'll have to come back. To my surprise the place I was going to didn't have actual food, just light snacks. Since I hadn't eaten dinner, some cheese and olive were not going to cut it. I rushed back, ordered the Bolognese with Pappardelle. They put a rush on it knowing I had a show to catch. My friend and I grabbed a seat on their spacious patio. Within 5 minutes, a pipping hot bowl of savory gooey goodness was presented. The pasta was covered with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan. It was a melted light cheese blanket covering the dish. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce had an abundant of meat. It tasted like Nonna simmered it for hours. Oh so good! Can't wait to come back!

We've come…read morehere many times and always loved the food -- it's honestly amazing, and it's a place our special needs child truly enjoys. That's what makes this experience even more upsetting. Today completely changed how we feel about this place. As I walked in, a large, very dirty and smelly dog ran right past me and straight into the kitchen area. An employee allowed the dog to be back there and even let it lick a spoon. It was honestly shocking and completely unsanitary. To make matters worse, after I paid and was walking out, the same customer allowed the dog to stand directly on the counter where customers order. Even the owner of the dog mentioned that it needed a bath, which says a lot about how bad the smell was. The employee didn't say anything or try to stop it, which was very concerning. I understand people love their pets, but there are basic hygiene standards that should never be ignored, especially in a food establishment. This crossed a line. We've always come here for the quality of the food, but after what we saw today, we can't overlook it. It really makes you wonder what else might be happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back

It shares space and parking with other businesses but I had no issues finding parking or the restaurant. I was greeted like family when I walked in and was promptly seated. I asked for a wine recommendation and, contrary to the name, the Pessimist did not disappoint. I ordered the build your own pasta with spaghetti, bolognese sauce, two meatballs, and the forcaccia bread. The pasta packed a lot of flavor and the meatballs weren't far behind. The serving was also pretty big. The bread had the perfect amount of crispy crust and soft warm center. I got to talk with who I could only assume is the owner and she was wonderful. She showed me the banquet room where they host open mic night and stand up comedy and its just as cute as the main dining area. Honestly when I was done eating I didn't want to leave. I've never had a restaurant have that big of an impact on me before. It's no wonder they've received so many awards!

If you haven't tried the Caribbean Bean Salad yet, start there. It's so good. I usually grab a bag of tortilla chips to go with it, but it's equally good with plantain chips. Their Kale & White Bean Salad is another favorite, and I haven't had a fresh juice there that I didn't enjoy. Surprisingly, their matcha is pretty solid too. The store has a great selection overall and feels like the closest thing Oceanside has to a Whole Foods. I find myself stopping in at least once a week for meal prep ingredients, snacks, or something from the deli case. The reason I'm landing at 4 stars instead of 5 is mostly the location. There's almost always something interesting happening outside, and it's not uncommon to see police activity nearby. Also, if you order a fresh juice or hot drink, don't expect it to come out lightning fast. They definitely take their time. That said, those are pretty minor complaints. The quality of the food, produce, and prepared items keeps me coming back. All in all, it's a great neighborhood market with plenty of healthy options and some hidden gems if you're willing to explore a little.
