HOT CRAB AND ARTICHOKE DIP
Skooter M.

Cindy the server makes the dining experience a real treat. After one visit and a month later she remembered what I had to eat and my name from previous visit she's a true server pro. My hot crab and artichoke dip and toasted bread (crustini's) have been the one main item I get and it's enough for even the hardiest of eaters like me not to mention it's really a two person meal. Come Sundays at 11:30am for the restaurant opening and you get waterside seats and a great place to watch the games on the many tv sets. Cindy makes coming here a real treat.

Had an amazing meal with a view at Maggie Bluffs! The service was amazing, the food was the best ever with fresh ingredients and great portions! We had been there years before and it wasn't so good, so glad to give it another try because it was so delicious!

After a long decision of picking where to eat, we decided to come here. This was our criteria: - A restaurant with a view - Outside seating - Fish and chips - Easy and free parking Maggie Bluff checked all those boxes for us. No reservation was needed, and we were seated right away. We reviewed the menu and picked out a couple of items to share: Maggie's Classic Burger ($15.70) and Fish & Chips ($19.20, three pieces). Placing the order was a bit difficult since it took a while before the waitress arrived. I saw another couple sit down and then leave after not receiving much service. They might have been short-staffed, even though it wasn't terribly busy and not all the tables were full. We didn't leave because we were hungry. Haha. We enjoyed the view while we waited for our food to arrive. The sun was shining, and the view was stunning. However, after a while, it does get a bit chilly, so bring a jacket! We were so excited when our food arrived because we selected tater tots (my fave) and sweet potato fries! We shared everything and I thought everything was delicious. The fish had just enough batter to coat the fish, and I can still taste the fish. Yay! The burger was a little plain, could probably use a couple of pieces of bacon. But as the name suggests "classic burger" - I should not be expecting anything more from it. I would say decent portion size and pricing. We could use a little more service for a water refill, which would probably be our only complain. However, not bad, Maggie Bluffs, not bad. Cash or card accepted. Plenty of parking in front of the main restaurant, Palisade. Outdoor seating is great for people-watching on a warm, sunny day.

Backdrop of the beautiful city of Seattle

Great food, amazing service, Kathleen was the sweetest and most helpful. Perfect location, especially if you wanna walk the Elliott Bay Trail a nice stop for a break.

Blackened coho salmon tacos

Maggie Bluffs is right below Palisades so it shares the same spectacular view albeit on the ground level, which is best enjoyed outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The menu is somewhat limited basics like burgers, fish and chips and tacos, Tried the burger and blackened salmon tacos (nice alternative to fried), which were both decent. Prices are very reasonable and the service was solid. Overall, it's a nice stop with a view, and while the food won't be revolutionary, you won't have a bad meal or pay an arm and a leg.

One person working front of house doing it all - seating, waiting, busing, bartending. One more person back of house cheffing it up. A 2-person shop! And only two parties in the restaurant when we were here. What has happened to Maggie Bluffs? Perhaps read on... From the menu - which seems much smaller than it used to be ? - We had some clam chowder, the chicken wings, some street tacos and a salmon caesar. Chowder was clam-filled but somewhat pricey - 8.70 for a small cup. The street tacos were a highlight, though the accompanying salsa seemed like it was from a jar. The Caesar salad was somewhat pedestrian though the salmon was excellent quality. The wings were $16.70 - see photo. This too seems pricey... Maybe I don't get out enough and haven't noticed prices have skyrocketed. At least there weren't any tricks like "5% for managers kickback" or whatever. Plus no "3% for credit card". Thus, Maggie Bluffs is still on our rotation of places to go. Just add more menu choices, OK Maggie?

Magnolia yacht club and Maggie Bluffs

Maggie bluffs offers a good selection of pub style burger and seafood with a great view of magnolia yacht club and downtown Seattle and the incoming cruise ships. The service is quick and accommodating, we enjoyed a couple of burgers and fish & chips - the establishment is casual with indoor or outdoor seating and service. I love the strawberry lemonade (adult beverage) & the views. Good for family and friends, relaxing dining or a sunset drink by the

Country Fried Calamari

Came on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were told we could sit anywhere because they weren't very busy. Service was good and food came out quick. My friend said the food was pretty good but I have to disagree considering our 2 piece Fish and Chips, Prime Rib Dip, and Calamari came out to about $70 after tips. Although I do understand the fact that the restaurant is right on the marina. Nothing much to write about but seems to be a solid spot for locals or families who want to dine with a nice view but don't want to spend a lot of money in Palisade, right upstairs. Food barely had any seasoning, but I do have to say that the sweet potato fries were delicious! Would I personally come back? No. But it's not terrible, and maybe my pallet isn't their target.

French Dip for the win

Located at the Magnolia Marina under the Palisades restaurant lies this little gem. A casual environment makes this a great choice for the family as well. With a good selection of soups, sandwiches and salads, you will have something to your liking. On this night it was a Sunday evening so not your typical go out and eat night. However our server was very attentive and was quick with our refills. In todays day and age, staying under $30 per plate your doing good. That is easily achievable here. Plenty of parking spaces you're assured of a place.

They've got a great Bloody Mary, and although the crew seems pretty young, service was not bad at all. Beautiful spot to sit by the water (if you catch Seattle on a nice day) with a cocktail and some bites. Their crab and artichoke dip (not pictured) was also delicious.

It was a huge feast with plenty of food to share, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The House Special sauce was the star of the meal, bringing together the perfect balance of buttery, garlicky, and spicy flavors. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right, with a flavorful blend of spices that enhanced the seafood without overpowering it. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, from the shrimp and clams to the crab and lobster tail. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Our food arrived hot, fresh, and quickly despite the generous portions. If you're looking for delicious seafood, outstanding service, and a relaxed dining experience, Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House is definitely worth a visit. I stopped by on a weekend and tried the crab roll, and wow--it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious crab. The buttery brioche bread deserves its own shoutout because it perfectly complemented the filling without overpowering it. We also ordered the salt and pepper fries, which are actually more like thick-cut wedges. They were super crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Honestly, they were the perfect side. Beyond the food, the vibe is really cool and laid-back, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy some seriously good seafood. Between the fresh crab roll, amazing brioche bread, crispy fries, and fun atmosphere, I can definitely see why this place stays busy. Pro tip: arrive early and thank me later!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I am so glad I finally did! We ordered a few things to share and every single dish was delicious! Shrimp toast: this was a great appetizer to share! Very crispy and the sauces on the side gave it a more complex flavor! It came with a sweet mayo and chili sauce. The chili sauce is definitely spicy if you can't handle spice so beware on how much you're using if that's the case. I also really enjoyed the slaw that came with it, it was very refreshing and it had a bit of sweet mayo flavor to it, I think it's the same as the dipping sauce but I could be wrong! Fried oysters: these were delicious! I think fried oysters can be a hit or miss for me, sometimes the interior can feel too dry and feel kinda of mushy-like, like I'm eating bread rather than seafood. But this had great texture on the inside while being crispy on the outside! The sauce on the side tasted like a pepper aioli which gave the oyster a nice tang *the fried dishes were great but after having a few, it definitely felt heavy, so this would be something I share with someone else vs eating it on my own Smoked salmon belly dip: I really enjoyed this! It was creamy and had chunks of salmon in it. It wasn't too dense or thick so it was perfect for scooping onto the kettle chips. The kettle chips were lightly salted so it was the perfect combo with the dip. Clam chowder: wow I absolutely loved this! This is different than any other chowder I've had. While I love a white creamy chowder from your typical seafood places, the base being a fish stock definitely brought out the seafood flavor vs a white chowder feeling like a cream base. This chowder still felt creamy and rich without the seafood flavor being overpowered. Rockfish bowl: the crab rolls were sold out by the time we made it to the register so we opted for this instead and I am so glad that we did. I didn't really expect this to blow me away but this was such a refreshing dish that balanced out the fried dishes we got. It used viet flavors that you may typically find in a banh mi which made it refreshing and had great texture from all the different fresh ingredients and fried garlic. I also loved how the fish came in patty form mixed with pork, it was flavorful and moist. I love any type of fish tofu/patty, I think it really makes fish flavorful when it sometimes can have a really mild flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the crab rolls!

We visited the Friday after Thanksgiving and arrived around 5 PM, hoping to beat the crowds--and luckily, we did. The restaurant was still fairly calm before the evening rush arrived. We had hoped to take advantage of Chinook's Happy Hour, but learned that the Happy Hour menu is only available at the bar, not at dining tables. Since we wanted an easy, relaxed conversation, we decided to stay seated at our table instead. Our server, Marilyn A, seemed a bit frazzled, likely because she had several tables to manage at once, but she was clearly trying her best to keep up and serve everyone promptly. We started with fresh Kumamoto and Totten Inlet oysters, which were delicious--clean, briny, and very fresh. For our entrées we ordered the wild salmon burger, salmon and chips, and the classic Caesar salad. All were enjoyable and satisfying choices, especially if you're in the mood for simple, well-prepared seafood. We skipped dessert since we had just returned from Leavenworth and had fresh sugar and gingerbread cookies waiting for us at home--a sweet ending we were already looking forward to. Overall, it was a pleasant early evening seafood dinner and a nice, relaxed way to wrap up the day.

We asked the oysters to arrive first and then the calamari, which were both before our main entrees. The server delivered exactly on the order and we really appreciated it. The ambiance easily is one of the most unique views in the city, I would say. Overlooking the rows of harbored boats, there does not exist many restaurants that can rival the ambiance here. Also, pretty much every seat in the house has the same view, so you really can't go wrong if you wanted to impress someone here. We went for lunch, but anytime of the day really works here. I've been here for a quick drinks at the bars too, which is also fun. All around the most well kept secret gem in all of Seattle!

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Located at the main Fisherman's Terminal building, this restaurant is sunny and open, with larger windows along the walls, letting natural light through to brighten the area. It's a counter service establishment, so ordering is at the front counter. We encountered a short line on our visit but it moved quickly. I think the kitchen was a little backlogged since our food took almost half an hour to arrive. Koji Fried Chicken Sammie ($15) - The menu lists this as $16 but they only charged $15. The fried chicken is seasoned and lightly breaded, resulting in a more delicate type of crisp. It's very flavorful and salted perfectly, creating a bite that's fragrant and somewhat tangy, filled with vinegar and lemongrass essence. It's a rather small piece of chicken thigh, cooked decently, so while not dripping with juices, isn't dried out or tough. Above the fried chicken is a bunch of crunchy shredded cabbage and underneath is a bed of softened red onions mixed with a creamy sauce, which is apparently ranch, but I couldn't identify it as such. Everything is on what seems to be a commercial soft bun. Very wan, not toasted at all. The chicken is much smaller than the bun and much thinner to boot. I'd say the taste profile is excellent, but the value isn't really there; it's a very light sandwich and I felt like I could have eaten two in a sitting. (4/5) Mayu Mac Salad ($6) - They give a really small scoop of mac salad for $6. It's really good though. The pasta is nice and toothsome with still a bit of a bite, and is then mixed with a thick mayo base. It's not runny at all as with many other mac salads. The pasta has plenty of ridges built into the special macaroni for extra texture. There's shaved carrot and cabbage and plenty of shallot for crunch, all mixed into a base that's extremely savory with a bit of saltiness and fragrance that reminds me of Lao Gan Ma chili crisp. If only this weren't so expensive! (5/5) Chili Crisp Noodle ($17) - This is essentially a version of sesame noodles with chili crisp added on top. Unlike the fried chicken sandwich, this dish looks small but is so creamy and rich that it sits very heavily in the stomach. The sauce is really thick peanut butter mixed with vinegar, as is standard, giving a tangy and nutty note. It has almost a bit of a burnt taste for some reason. It's really thick and viscous and it coats the entire mouth in a film while eating. The noodles are nice and chewy. The chili crisp itself isn't too overtly spicy, instead it's decently fragrant, is very peanut-forward, and has the numbing mala sensation from sichuan peppercorns. (4/5) Overall Pidgin Cooperative serves some pretty good food. I think portion sizes are a little small for the price and even with the three items we ordered, we still left a little peckish. Bathrooms - Larger ones with multiple stalls, one for mushrooms, one for oysters.

This most recent time we noticed that the menu had been split into two and there are only a few items on the main menu, with most standout dishes being on the rotating menu. For four people, we ordered: Gyofun fries: came out cold Smash burger: good, would absolutely get again and recommend Beef short rib: doesn't come with rice which is disappointing for the cost and it being a main. Sauce flavor is punchy and delicious, acid forward! side rice: terrible. Undercooked or perhaps not washed well before cooking Kimchi: very fermented if you like that style Sesame chili crisp noodle: noodles were overcooked and became one giant blob with the sauce. We ordered a fried egg on top and that was cooked perfectly. Overall the flavor is really flat and it was mediocre at best. Tuna kinilaw: tuna didn't seem the best quality. Quality of sauce and accompanying herbs and orange was great, very fresh. If this was the only time we had been here I'd be happy to give it another go but between the other three times we've been here we've had: Salmon kinilaw: much smoother and more delicious than the tuna. The portion size was also bigger than the tuna Fish and chips: great portion crispy fried and delicious Mac salad: good Animal ramen: the noodles were so undercooked you could actually see the fire still through the noodles. The hot broth wasn't hot enough to keep cooking the noodles so it was just completely a bowl of undercooked noodles. Disappointing Wok fried rice cakes: good!! Today the food came out in a decent time but the time we got the fish and chips/ramen we waited over 30 minutes for our food and were pretty disappointed given the restaurant was not super packed. Today towards the end of our stay it was absolutely a packed house but the food was coming out in a very reasonable time and service was good. It's very confusing that it's so inconsistent across my four visits but we have decided to not give it another go because we can't tell if we're going to get a good day or a bad day. Hope this changes because the good days are SO GOOD.

I was pretty excited to try a new spot for SRW! I haven't been to Magnolia much, so I wasn't sure…read morewhat to expect. Pink Salt is just alright. It's a Peruvian restaurant with a very plain outside and dim lighting on the inside. The service was great, they were attentive. I unfortunately felt like the food and plating were really mediocre. We noted that the plates looked like plates you would find in a college dining hall. - Causa Acevichada: 5/5, really enjoyed the sauce. The rockfish tasted fresh! - Seco Limeno de Pollo: 3.5/5, the salsa was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. - Budin: 2/5, this was dry and small. I was really disappointed with this dessert. I enjoy that they had a menu for SRW; I would give them another try outside of SRW.

i tried pink salt as a part of seattle restaurant week. as a miamian who has had easy access to…read moreperuvian food for almost my entire life before moving here, i can say certainly that this place is just mid. the inside is nice, tablecloths and all. i was in a large party so we got sat in this second room away from everybody else - not necessarily a bad thing. however, i think because we were in the separate room, the service ended up not being great. the waiter almost never showed up and we kept running out of water. i ordered the causa, picante de mariscos, and the suspiro limeño. the causa is notttt worth it. it is an interesting take on causa, i'll give them that; however, it claimed to have pulpo con él but it was a miniscule amount included. i was disappointed. my entrée was pretty good and a decent amount of food, i had no problems with it. the dessert was just okay. personally, i think it's too pricey for what it is. seattle doesn't have a lot of choices for peruvian food, plus it's in magnolia which doesn't attract a lot of city dwellers since it's hard to get to without a car. i think that's why it comes with such a high markup. it was really only worth it for SRW. i do not think i'll be back.
