Very happy with our first visit here, we will definitely be back. We ordered the Catfish Po'boy and Combo 4, along with a few beers, and it was just perfect for the two of us. Both entrees were pretty tasty, I'd say about 4/5 stars, which is saying a lot. The flavor of their seafood is really what stood out, you won't be disappointed. We wanted less of the crawfish and love clams, so it was perfect for us. The shrimp also did not have the head, another plus for our tastes. We opted for the spiciest level of the sauce and felt that it wasn't really so much spicy as it was flavorful. It was nice that the spicy level didn't feel like you were fighting for your life, but more like it was adding flavor to the food. I really liked that they give you standard bibs to protect your clothing, as well as gloves, so you don't have to get sauce and other things all over your hands. I always hated that. We had been eyeing this place since they opened earlier this year or last year, can't remember, but glad we finally tried their food. The service was also really good. Our server helped us choose the level of spice and told us that their spice levels are more about flavor than about overwhelming customers for no reason. He was really nice, attentive, and super fast. Mama's is in a perfect location for those of us who live in the neighborhood and can easily walk over. Otherwise, on the edge of Belltown, you should easily find parking, and there are a few bus stops super close to here. Ambiance is pretty basic; this used to be a Mexican restaurant that shut down due to a ton of recurring vandalism. They kept dealing with it, so I hope Mama's doesn't deal with that too. The Mexican restaurant had much more fun decor than this place, Mama's is more bare-bones. They have TVs if you'd like to watch a game, and their bar looks inviting if you're alone or want to mingle. Overall, just a no-frills, super casual vibe here.

We were craving seafood and came across Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House, and it did not disappoint! We ordered Combo 1 (1 lb crawfish, 1 lb head-on shrimp, potatoes, andouille sausage, corn, and broccoli), Combo 2 (1 lb clams, 1 lb peeled shrimp, potatoes, andouille sausage, corn, and broccoli), and a customized seafood boil with Dungeness crab, lobster tail, and 1 lb crawfish. It was a huge feast with plenty of food to share, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The House Special sauce was the star of the meal, bringing together the perfect balance of buttery, garlicky, and spicy flavors. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right, with a flavorful blend of spices that enhanced the seafood without overpowering it. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, from the shrimp and clams to the crab and lobster tail. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Our food arrived hot, fresh, and quickly despite the generous portions. If you're looking for delicious seafood, outstanding service, and a relaxed dining experience, Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House is definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're craving a seafood boil!

This place is by far the most fun I've had eating. There's something satisfying about getting to eat with your hands and make a bit of a mess. Everything was great, not just the seafood but the corn and potatoes and sausages too. Their house special sauce is great, and they make great Thai teas too. The only criticism we have is that they're not the most accurate with their hours. We've gotten there at exactly their opening time at noon twice, and both times it was still empty. Other than that, a great place t

Mama's Crawfish and Seafood House is a Belltown gem. I have heard about this place many times and I finally got to try it. My friends were very excited they were telling me what order. I do love crawfish so I got the crawfish and shrimp combo. Crawfish in Seattle Is okay, but there is nothing like FRESH crawfish. The shrimp was good. I got the spicy and house sauce. Another special addition to this restaurant is they put broccoli in their bags and also you can add ramen noodles. I was skeptical about the ramen noodles but after trying it was very good. When you order the crab it's by the cluster and not pounds. It's a lighter portion but just enough. This is a place I would definitely visit if in the bell-town area.

A Shell of a Good Time in Belltown Sometimes you walk into a restaurant expecting a cute little dinner... and you walk out realizing you just had a full-on crabsolutely delicious experience. That's exactly what happened during my recent visit to a small seafood spot tucked away in Belltown. First off: parking was surprisingly easy for a Sunday night, which already felt like a win in Seattle. The restaurant itself was smaller than we expected, but it had some fun décor and a cozy vibe. We were seated in the corner, and while it was comfortable, I'll admit the space felt a little plain in that area. I kept thinking a little extra nautical flair would've made it feel more complete. They also had a couple TVs on showing news and sports, which felt slightly off-theme--like I came for seafood, not breaking news. But honestly... once the food arrived, I didn't care what was on those screens. Because the food? Shell yeah. The Main Event: Dungeness Crab Heaven!! We ordered the Dungeness crab cluster and added all the extras (because why wouldn't you?). We went all in with: corn potatoes broccoli andouille sausage And every single thing was cooked to perfection. The crab was sweet and tender, the sausage had the perfect bite, and the veggies weren't overcooked or soggy (which is rare in these types of seafood boil situations). It was hearty, flavorful, and honestly just the kind of meal that feels like a reward. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. And the little bibs they gave us were adorable. This place is crabsolutely worth it.

I've been here before last time I visited Seattle and I wanted to come back. I love the Asian lanterns looks like buoys. Very clean restaurant. Got seated right away. The prices are pretty good and a nice variety of seafoods. Today I got a pound of black mussels and a pound of clams in garlic butter. You put the food in a bowl so everything stays in one place. We also got a side of corn and potatoes. I'd say definitely try this spot when you come in this area. The service was quick and will fill you up at an expensive cost!

Loved our meal here. The house sauce was delicious and all the fresh veggies were nice in with the seafood.

Delicious crawfish and seafood boil in a casual setting! Very flavorful seafood, excellent service. Loved the green mussels. Crab was outstanding - lobster, clams, head-on shrimp were all tasty. Corn did a great job soaking up the seafood boil flavor. Bibs and gloves are a must - thoughtful touches. Would return to try the crab fried rice!

Crab fried rice special they had was yummy and flavorful. We ordered 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp and they were huge and delicious with their house sauce and I got it hot and it was the perfect heat.

We had a bit of a wait before anyone acknowledged us after being seated. I get that the place was busy, but it still took longer than I would have expected. I ordered the seafood boil with crab legs and shrimp, while my wife got the same thing but added eggs, I went with corn only. I've got to say, I've never been to a seafood restaurant that only gives you one piece of corn with your boil. The restaurant itself is cozy with nice decor, but parking is a real challenge. There's rarely any meter parking, and the ramps nearby charge quite a bit. The one we parked at didn't even give an option for just one or two hours we had to pay for 14 hours just to eat at Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House. So definitely plan ahead or consider taking an Uber. As for the food, it was decent but nothing that really stood out. The sauce was too sweet for my taste and the corn was overcooked, but everything else was fine overall.

    Crawfish was big!

Seafood galore! Every bite was succulent and fresh. My family shared a whole bag of Combo 3 delicious seafood and vegetables smothered in its spicy yet wonderful sauce. We decided on level 2 spice which was perfect for me. Some people might still go for higher level but I'm sure it will taste just as good. The service was fast and easy. The restaurant is nothing fancy just a place for good seafood. I would definitely come back and enjoy another round of fresh and spicy food! Just be game to get messy. Gloves are provided for easy eating!

Top photo is bowl when it came and bottom is all the shells and discard cause yes, we ate it all!! Fantastic food!

We are staying near the Space Needle and went looking on Yelp for somewhere to eat.. came across Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House and it was not a far walk.. Omg it was worth the walk!! My wife and I shared 2 Snow Crab Clusters, 1lb Peeled Shrimp, 1 Lobster Tail, Corn Coblets and on a whim added Ramen Noodles.. Garlic Butter and medium spice level!! (Asked them to put the ramen inside the bag). The noodles were so good we even ordered another portion to put in the sauce!! The table next to us heard us raving about how good the ramen noodles were in the sauce and they added and got an order!! Prices were more than fair for what you got (this is a big city so nothing is "cheap") i don't mind spending money on good food, and if we lived in Seattle we would be eating here often!! HIGHLY RECOMMED!!

This spot went in where a Mexican place used to be. The food was pretty good, but the portions for price are maybe a little steep. The service was lovely and they brought out a bib and gloves and table cover for the seafood. The inside has a lot of fun maritime decor.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. I had the fish and chips, which are three pieces of Alaskan cod - coming with fries, tartar sauce, and ketchup. These were seriously awesome. I have to first talk about the beer batter on the outside, which has a phenomenal crunch. It's craggly and crunchy in the best of ways - with a consistent crispiness across the entire fish for every piece. I don't think I've ever had a crunch this good on fish and chips. The oil is clearly fresh, and it's served with basically no delay from the frying. I also loved the cod inside. It's super moist and flaky. Obviously, the fish doesn't have a lot of fat, but it makes up for it with a disappearing texture where you barely even need to bite through. They've clearly gotten the formula right on the fish. If that wasn't enough, the fries were easily the best I've ever had with fish and chips. They were hot, thick, and fluffy - a perfect combination that led to delicious results. The portion on these was great as well. If I had one complaint, the tartar sauce wasn't very good. It felt like it was missing both fat and acid, and tasted closer to ranch than what I was expecting a tartar sauce to be. I just didn't end up using it for the fish. Yes, this is pricey. The 3-piece order cost me $26 before tax/tip. That's quite expensive - despite a solid portion size. Is this the best fish and chips in the city? To me it's between this and Pacific Inn Pub. They have a much better tartar sauce and serve a larger portion at a third less of the price, but I think the actual fish and the fries here are better. I would say it's a toss-up - you can't go wrong with either one. Overall, a fantastic new opening that I would love to bring people to. 9/10
