    Crab, clam and noodles

Mama's Crawfish and Seafood House is a Belltown gem. I have heard about this place many times and I finally got to try it. My friends were very excited they were telling me what order. I do love crawfish so I got the crawfish and shrimp combo. Crawfish in Seattle Is okay, but there is nothing like FRESH crawfish. The shrimp was good. I got the spicy and house sauce. Another special addition to this restaurant is they put broccoli in their bags and also you can add ramen noodles. I was skeptical about the ramen noodles but after trying it was very good. When you order the crab it's by the cluster and not pounds. It's a lighter portion but just enough. This is a place I would definitely visit if in the bell-town area.

A Shell of a Good Time in Belltown Sometimes you walk into a restaurant expecting a cute little dinner... and you walk out realizing you just had a full-on crabsolutely delicious experience. That's exactly what happened during my recent visit to a small seafood spot tucked away in Belltown. First off: parking was surprisingly easy for a Sunday night, which already felt like a win in Seattle. The restaurant itself was smaller than we expected, but it had some fun décor and a cozy vibe. We were seated in the corner, and while it was comfortable, I'll admit the space felt a little plain in that area. I kept thinking a little extra nautical flair would've made it feel more complete. They also had a couple TVs on showing news and sports, which felt slightly off-theme--like I came for seafood, not breaking news. But honestly... once the food arrived, I didn't care what was on those screens. Because the food? Shell yeah. The Main Event: Dungeness Crab Heaven!! We ordered the Dungeness crab cluster and added all the extras (because why wouldn't you?). We went all in with: corn potatoes broccoli andouille sausage And every single thing was cooked to perfection. The crab was sweet and tender, the sausage had the perfect bite, and the veggies weren't overcooked or soggy (which is rare in these types of seafood boil situations). It was hearty, flavorful, and honestly just the kind of meal that feels like a reward. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. And the little bibs they gave us were adorable. This place is crabsolutely worth it.

I've been here before last time I visited Seattle and I wanted to come back. I love the Asian lanterns looks like buoys. Very clean restaurant. Got seated right away. The prices are pretty good and a nice variety of seafoods. Today I got a pound of black mussels and a pound of clams in garlic butter. You put the food in a bowl so everything stays in one place. We also got a side of corn and potatoes. I'd say definitely try this spot when you come in this area. The service was quick and will fill you up at an expensive cost!

Loved our meal here. The house sauce was delicious and all the fresh veggies were nice in with the seafood.

Delicious crawfish and seafood boil in a casual setting! Very flavorful seafood, excellent service. Loved the green mussels. Crab was outstanding - lobster, clams, head-on shrimp were all tasty. Corn did a great job soaking up the seafood boil flavor. Bibs and gloves are a must - thoughtful touches. Would return to try the crab fried rice!

Crab fried rice special they had was yummy and flavorful. We ordered 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp and they were huge and delicious with their house sauce and I got it hot and it was the perfect heat.

Seafood galore! Every bite was succulent and fresh. My family shared a whole bag of Combo 3 delicious seafood and vegetables smothered in its spicy yet wonderful sauce. We decided on level 2 spice which was perfect for me. Some people might still go for higher level but I'm sure it will taste just as good. The service was fast and easy. The restaurant is nothing fancy just a place for good seafood. I would definitely come back and enjoy another round of fresh and spicy food! Just be game to get messy. Gloves are provided for easy eating!

We had a bit of a wait before anyone acknowledged us after being seated. I get that the place was busy, but it still took longer than I would have expected. I ordered the seafood boil with crab legs and shrimp, while my wife got the same thing but added eggs, I went with corn only. I've got to say, I've never been to a seafood restaurant that only gives you one piece of corn with your boil. The restaurant itself is cozy with nice decor, but parking is a real challenge. There's rarely any meter parking, and the ramps nearby charge quite a bit. The one we parked at didn't even give an option for just one or two hours we had to pay for 14 hours just to eat at Mama's Crawfish & Seafood House. So definitely plan ahead or consider taking an Uber. As for the food, it was decent but nothing that really stood out. The sauce was too sweet for my taste and the corn was overcooked, but everything else was fine overall.

This spot went in where a Mexican place used to be. The food was pretty good, but the portions for price are maybe a little steep. The service was lovely and they brought out a bib and gloves and table cover for the seafood. The inside has a lot of fun maritime decor.

Another great Belltown restaurant. This is getting to be my favorite part of Seattle to dine out. My wife, son, and I ordered the Combo III, which has 2 pounds of crawfish, 1 pound of green mussels, 1 pound of shrimp head-on, with corn, broccoli, potato, and Andouille sausage. And we ordered rice for each of us to soak up the very flavorful sauce (on the side and in the bag), which was at a heat level of 2 (medium). Before the food was served, we were given bibs with a drawing of a friendly crab and the line, "I'm too cute to be crabby." We were also given a box of gloves to protect our hands when tearing into the food. We needed both! The food did splatter when we ate it, and digging into the crawfish did involve navigating around some sharp edges of the crustaceans. Our meal was served in a huge plastic bag. We dipped into the bag with our hands as well as with forks and spoons. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and addictively delicious! In terms of cuisine, it was a Vietnamese-Cajun boil. All three of us were stuffed at the end of the meal. The restaurant has a pleasant decor with paper lanterns giving it a festive look. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. It's a messy meal, so it's best to go with family and good friends.

It wasn't too hard to get a weekday reservation for 4 and it's located right on the waterfront of Pike's Place, but it was pretty easy to find street parking nearby. Overall, the food was a little inconsistent in quality across the board, but the vibes are excellent for a nicer night out. Oysters (4/5): Super fresh and they have a rotating set of local options. We went with the waiter's recommendation, which were super sweet and a bit salty. One of my friend's had never had oysters before and they were pleasantly surprised by the way it wasn't too fishy! Clam Chowder (4.25/5): Clam chowder was actually probably one of the best bites of the night. Super creamy and luxurious with a good amount of clams. Shrimp Cocktail (2.5/5): Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked and too chewy. A real shame because the shrimp are huge! Surf N Turf (2.75/5): Mixed feelings on this one. The scallops were really small, but delicious, fresh, and sweet. The beef cut was some sort of awful hangar steak that didn't feel fresh. A bit small for a main and roasted potatoes were just okay. Lobster Roll (4/5): The bread was warm and nicely toasted with butter. I wish there was a bit more lobster to improve the ratio, but the quality of the lobster was nice! Atlantic Beach Pie (4/5): Very very tart, but I loved it especially with the fresh whipped cream. The saltine crust brought a good amount of salt as well.

I decided to go with the 6 oz Lobster roll with the hot honey butter. I wish I had read the menu better. When they offered the 4, 6 or 8 oz I opted for the 6. The hot honey butter was a $1 charge, which isn't bad at all. Though my final bill was over $50(with tip), which seems like a lot for a sandwich. But I get it, it is lobster, so I'll stop complaining. . Overall the bun was fluffy and tasty and the 6oz was A LOT. I can only imagine the 8 oz. I will more than likely come back as I saw both Lobster roll flights and crab roll flights(I think they were around $40. 3 different versions of each. I will say that I do like how everything comes with chips and a soda. Not just the cheap soda either. They had Bedfords which made me even happier. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
