Cute ice cream shop that I didn't know was right around the corner from my house. The plaza is not visible from the street but I have let my friends and family know to check this place out. Home made ice cream that is delicious. I do wish they had a few more flavors. I like that they have a variety of cones, some chocolate covered with sprinkles. You can get toppings, sundaes and shakes. The 2 high school aged kids working were pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. There are tables if you want to eat in the shop. They gave a few claw games as well. I also noticed a freezer with prepackaged take home ice cream sandwiches and cakes on the way out. We will be coming here often read more

I am not really sure what can go wrong in an ice cream shop I mean there's ice cream so that in itself wins. We decided to have ice cream sundaes instead of dinner one night and this is where we came. I got a waffle bowl that was dipped in chocolate and covered in nuts and then filled that bowl with chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It was pretty epic so darn good! But, again, ice cream! how can you go wrong??? The place itself is plain. I wouldn't necessarily call it cute. It's definitely clean and bright, but not overly decorated or cutie. It was just fine. My friend treated me to an ice cream after a recent lunch, and wow! This place is terrific. So many choices, and you can try as many as you like. Not once did they seem impatient at my indecision! I opted for a chocolate peanut butter and a coffee flavored one. The two scoops were huge! They also have ice cream sandwiches, and those are big as well. They have a variety of cones to choose from with different dips too. It's probably a good thing I don't live really close as I can see this being a habit! So I saw this place on Instagram and showed my grandson the pictures and he made me promise to take him and he reminded me today is the day so here we are enjoying our ice creams together cause I want to be a good grandma..lol The place is in the Silos on country road 220 and it adds to the location of shoppes found here. The inside is clean and they have alot to offer as in donuts..cakes and their own branded coffee and of course several flavors of ice cream. Today was a first for our family stopping in to Maggie Ds and it was delicious! I've been on a coffee kick lately and I went straight for a medium cup of their strong coffee flavor. It tasted like a frozen cup of coffee with the perfect amount of cream and sugar. :-) Wife shared a mint chocolate chip sundae with our toddler and they enjoyed that. I recently found out they make ice cream cakes, so I called to order a black rasberry with chocolate cake to bring to my families house for Christmas. It was a hit, everyone was blown away by how delicious the whole cake was. No other dessert was eaten. All the other homemade cookies, pies and cakes just sat there to be put away whole for another day. Maggie's ice cream cake was devoured!!! I visited Maggie D's on 3 different occasions. The shop is really cute and the owner is super nice. First time I had ice cream in a cone. Ice cream was ok the waffle was stale. Next time I tried different ice cream flavors and bought 2 of those cute marshmallows on a stick covered in chocolate. Ice cream was ok but the marshmallows tasted old - yuck. Third and last time. Took my son and he had an ice cream cone with C is for cookie. It was blue and had cookie pieces inside . It made everything blue , face tongue, fingers. It was a mess. But he liked it. I bought a dozen mini donuts to take home for the family. As soon as we got home we all tried one and they where horrible, stale and hard just awful! A complete waste of money. Maggie D's flavors are so good! Plenty of unique and delicious ice cream. My 5 year old loved their kids vanilla that had all kinds of color swirls so he felt like he was getting something really fun, but still his favorite flavor. We also got a bucket of fresh-made mini donuts, and each flavor was delicious. Chocolate and coconut were top faves. Above all, Maggie D's has 5 star service and hospitality.
